Yayoi rolled her eyes and sighed. “I think I won’t dare to buy perfume in the future. I never knew that perfume could smell so bad!”
Ever since Morphy became the new CEO, the group of women led by Lonny had gone crazy. Every day, they would dress up beautifully. Just like the concubines in the backyards of ancient palaces, they hoped that one day, the new CEO would grace them with his presence.
This caused others to suffer. Every day, other than having to smell those suffocating fragrances, they also had to listen to them talk in their fake high-pitched voices.
“I think I’ll be going crazy soon.” Yayoi whined and lay on her desk. If this continued, she would really go berserk.
“Okay, calm down.” Rosiley patted her head. “When I hand in this piece of news, they will give up.”
“News?” Yayoi immediately sat up straight. She stretched her neck and looked at Rosiley’s computer screen. She was shocked to see the document title: Young Master Shen’s Unknown Relationships.
She briefly glanced through the whole content and could not help gasping. “Rosiley, I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to dig up news on your own boss.”
“Really?” Rosiley raised her brows. “Recently, the stories have all been so boring. If we don’t drop a bomb, everyone’s life will be too mundane.”
Yayoi smiled. “Mrs. Lu, you’re really trying to make Benin City your playground!”
“Of course! Why shouldn’t I make good use of my special rights?”
Rosiley printed out the news draft and compiled it nicely before handing it to Lina.
“Tang, it isn’t very suitable to expose the company leader’s private life.”
Lina flipped the news draft back to the front page and looked at Rosiley disapprovingly.
“Manager Li, I feel that as someone working in the press, we can’t miss any piece of news that has meaning and value. I think Mr. Shen will understand.”
Rosiley sounded very dignified but she was secretly smiling to herself. Morphy had exposed his own privacy. since he wanted to appear in the trending searches and headlines so badly, how could she let him down?
Lina thought about it seriously and then nodded. “All right then. I’ll get the supervisors to take a look. If they’re okay with it, we’ll release it.”
“Okay.”
Rosiley was 100% sure that this draft would be released successfully.
However, reality failed her expectations. Just when she was sitting in her office confidently playing World of Minesweeper, she suddenly received an internal call from Managing Director Tiana.
“Come up.”
An ice-cold sentence traveled to her ear. Then, the phone was hung up.
Rosiley scoffed. “This Tiana is really…
“Hard to describe!”
When Rosiley stepped into the Managing Director’s office, a white thing flew at her. Luckily, she was quick in her reflexes and stepped aside, successfully dodging the unknown object.
When the thing landed on the ground, she lowered her head to take a look. It was the draft that she had spent so much effort editing.
She looked up at Tiana, who was staring at her with a cold gaze, which contained a subtle hint of delight.
Rosiley’s hands were by her sides, tightly clenched. She slowly released them and suppressed the anger. She picked up the draft from the floor. Then, she walked over to her at a steady pace.
Both of their gazes met in midair. Their eyes were overflowing with hatred for each other. No one was taking a step back.
She got even nearer. “Flop!”
The news draft was slammed against the table heavily. Rosiley glared at Tiana with a cold gaze. The corners of her lips curled mockingly as she said in a cold voice, “Managing Director Su, what do you mean by this?”
