As Kendall retreated, he grabbed a black box from somewhere with his wolf claw. The black box was covered in ancient, mottled patterns and had some rust on it. Without hesitation, Kendall opened the box, releasing a wave of evil curse power. He took out a green stone and a glass bottle the size of a plastic bottle. The green stone was not particularly large and could be held in one hand. It had green mottled marks, resembling moss, which made anyone who looked at it feel nauseous. Staring at it for too long also caused intense dizziness. The glass bottle was filled with dark green viscous liquid that also induced dizziness and nausea.
Kendall looked at the green stone with a fervent expression. He then opened the glass bottle, releasing a strong, pungent odor. Kendall’s actions instinctively made Meigetsu uneasy. Not only Meigetsu, but Kaen, Holden, and others also focused their gazes. Although they did not know what Kendall was planning, the strong sense of crisis was palpable. The Resurrection Stone, one of the sacred artifacts of the Wolf Tribe, possessed evil power. Sprinkling some blood from certain monsters onto the Resurrection Stone could revive them with eighty percent of their original strength.
The dark green liquid covered the Resurrection Stone, which emitted an evil green light. The liquid began to bubble and grow rapidly like cell division. “Years ago, Lord Wolf King killed Spider Monster King Olaf to obtain the toughest spider silk and collected her essence blood,” Felix said with an evil laugh. “Today, let Olaf be resurrected here and wreak havoc on Atraria!” Prince Felix roared with laughter as he watched.
Meigetsu and others continued to relentlessly pursue Kendall. “It’s too late; you can’t stop this. Today, you all will die! Hahaha…” Kendall seemed crazed and stopped retreating, standing in front of the Resurrection Stone. Meigetsu, Holden, Kaen, and others attacked him mercilessly with their ultimate skills. Under the assault of many martial arts experts, blood marks appeared on Kendall’s body.
Next, Meigetsu’s moon blade slashed directly at Kendall’s head. His ferocious wolf head exploded instantly, spraying blood as his massive wolf body fell from the air. “Kendall!” Felix cried out in sorrow. “Rest assured; these people will soon join you in death.”
The dark green blood sprayed on the Resurrection Stone quickly transformed into an enormous spider. The giant spider was like a small mountain, nearly ten meters tall, with a pitch-black body that gleamed with a cold metallic luster. It had four pairs of legs; the front pair did not touch the ground but had sharp blades like those of a mantis.
Everyone was stunned by the appearance of this massive black spider in such a short time. “Werewolf stuff is really disgusting and bizarre,” Holden muttered with a grave expression. “Awaken, Monster King Olaf!” Felix shouted loudly at the giant black spider with a sinister smile.
As Felix’s shout echoed, the two enormous eyes on the spider’s head suddenly opened. A chilling light shot from its eyes, making everyone feel cold inside. “Hiss… so many delicious treats…” Monster King Olaf scanned everyone and spoke in human language.
“Everyone, retreat for now!” The strong sense of crisis told Holden that this giant spider was extremely dangerous. Everyone hesitated for a moment before retreating quickly.
Monster King Olaf’s gaze locked onto two Fire Guards who were retreating slowly. Two white spider threads shot out from its giant mouth at incredible speed. In an instant, the threads wrapped around the two Coleman family Fire Guards. They hurriedly swung their daggers to try to cut the threads but found them incredibly tough and unbreakable.
Monster King Olaf’s mouth dripped with viscous liquid as it retracted the threads, pulling the two Fire Guards into its terrifying maw. The giant mouth bit down, shattering armor and spraying blood everywhere. After two more agonizing screams, the two Fire Guards lost their lives.
Monster King Olaf chewed on them like delicacies, mixing their blood with its sticky saliva that dripped onto the ground. This horrifyingly bloody scene made Meigetsu, Holden, Kaen, and others’ faces turn extremely grim.
“Monster King Olaf, enjoy your feast,” Felix said with an evil grin from mid-air.
“Shut up! Take this!” Leo’s face darkened as he swung his Divine Dragon Sword at Felix.
“Bring it on!” Felix wielded his Bloodaxe and clashed with Leo.
The fierce battle erupted again.
On the ground, Kaen roared angrily as his energy surged into a massive red palm print that slammed down towards Monster King Olaf from above.
Monster King Olaf’s terrifying spider face showed a human-like sneer as it leaped up to meet the palm print head-on. The palm print shattered upon impact with Monster King Olaf’s body, scattering firelight everywhere. Its hard black shell remained virtually undamaged.
This scene shocked everyone once more; they hadn’t expected this terrifying spider to have such formidable defense.
“Delicious… all mine…” Monster King Olaf muttered repeatedly as it stared at everyone before charging at them with its giant mouth open.
