During lunch break, Rosiley met with Sachin to have lunch with him.
After lunch, she returned to the company and received an interview task from her superior.
The famous diva, Eain Qin, was coming to Benin City for a photoshoot. Even though she was only staying in the city for two days given her tight schedule, she promised to give TEG News half an hour of interview time.
Hence, the management wanted her to find out information from Eain about her new movie.
With Eain’s status, any small piece of news concerning her could be breaking news. Those pieces of breaking news were often worth plenty.
Rosiley couldn’t help feeling a little unwilling when she received the task.
She had exposed Eain’s rumor in the past and drew her resentment. She would definitely not be kind to her during this interview.
At 3 p. m., Rosiley went to the address where Eain was having her photoshoot given by her company.
It was a natural scenery park in Benin City, which was surrounded by mountains and lakes. Adjacent to the park was a famous estate known for being where many scenes of films and advertisements were shot.
Eain’s photoshoot was for a jewelry brand. The company sent many bodyguards to prevent theft of the pieces of jewelry there.
When Rosiley arrived, Eain had worn a wedding dress and was posing on a small boat in the lake.
She wore many pieces of luxurious jewelry, including neckless, rings, bracelets, earrings, and a crown, which made her entire body shine. Her slender figure was proudly showcased in the dress, which drew the attention of many of the crew members.
After observing the scene for a while on the lakeside, Rosiley found Eain’s assistance to talk about the interview.
“Is there no one else in TEG News? Why did they send you here? Eain is very busy and does not want her emotions to be affected. If there are no other reporters from TEG News, please return, for we do not accept this interview.”
Eain’s assistant, Xiaonan Li, replied rudely and rejected Rosiley directly. She was obviously still angry about the previous incident.
Rosiley could not help frowning. While telling herself to be more patient, she explained, “Miss Li, there is a 40-minute drive from our company to here. It is all right if you want to change the reporter, but does Miss Eain have so much time? If not, can you cooperate with me?”
“Hmph, no one knows if you will still be writing unfavorable news about Eain. There is no room for discussion regarding this matter. There must either be a change in the reporter, or there will be no interview. It is that simple.”
After saying that, Xiaonan turned to leave, not giving Rosiley any chance to respond.
Rosiley pursed her lips as if she had expected such a situation to occur. Helpless, she had to call the other reporters to ask them to replace her.
However, she didn’t expect that all her subordinates would reject her.
The reason all of them gave was, “Sorry, Deputy Manager, the Managing Director gave us other roles. We are not free.”
Rosiley finally understood.
It turned out that Eain’s interview was Tinana’s plan.
That woman finally struck! She knew of her past feud with Eain and thus sent her to be humiliated by Eain.
What a good plan!
However, Rosiley was not such a woman to be easily bullied.
Rosiley smirked as she found Xiaonan again. “Can you let me see Eain?”
Xiaonan stared impatiently at Rosiley. “You think you can just see Eain at will? Didn’t I say that we wouldn’t accept your interview? Why aren’t you leaving?”
“I’m merely completing my work. Please help me, Miss Li.”
Rosiley was trying her best to be patient.
Xiaonan, however, became furious. “Why are you so annoying? Do you believe that I will call your company to complain about you?”
Her threat made Rosiley fed up as well.
“Miss Li, I hope you can be responsible for your decision and won’t harm Eain with that.”
“What do you mean?”
Rosiley’s sudden threat surprised Xiaonan, whose expression changed.
“I know that it was Eain’s idea to not accept my interview. However, help me relay this message. I want to make a deal with her. As long as she accepts my interview, I will give her a piece of news that will definitely benefit her.”
