Azar’s Pov
“Are you all, right?” She asked me, ignoring my question.
“Do you know how scared I was? I thought I would never be able to see you, Azar.” She again started sobbing like a baby, and her entire body was shivering.
I know what she is going through.
I know this feeling.
I know how you feel when your loved one leaves you.
I bent down to her level. “Look, I am fine, baby; I am absolutely fine.”
“Never leave me, Azar; I cannot live without you,” she said between her cries.
“I will never leave you, darling, ever in this life,” I cooed.
“I LOVE YOU, AZAR; I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.”
And I froze,
She is worried about me in this condition.
She wants me to be okay.
She wants to be with me forever.
She cares for me.
She loves me.
My heartbeat started running fast. I have never felt like this before, not even when I got intimate with her.
This is sometimes different.
Happiness started running through my veins, reaching every corner of my body.
I don’t know how to react right now.
She made my dark world light up.
Today, I felt complete.
She is my solace.

AZAR’S POV
I kept hugging her, controlling my emotions, and she kept blabbering about her complaints and her emotions.
I am not sure she even realizes what she said just now, but I know one thing for sure: she means it.
After some time, I look at her, kiss her, and look at her face and eyes. Lots of emotions were swirling: love, care, fear, and happiness.
I held her face and kissed her forehead, then her nose and her eyes, and then my lips landed on her dry yet soft lips. I started moving my lips, pouring all my heart out in this kiss. She stays still, maybe trying to understand if it was real or not. But in sometimes I felt her fingers on my neck and slowly go up my hair, and she started moving her lips in the sink.
But her kiss had hunger in it and many more emotions. I let her dominate, and I submitted myself completely to her.
After some time, she broke down and kissed me and looked at me with teary eyes, saying, “Never ever leave me.”
I hugged her back and said, “Never!”
We both broke the hug after hearing the door sound. I looked back, and the doctor, Aunt Nina, and her parents came in with Sanya, and I took a step back, allowing them to meet her.
Her mom stared, crying, looking at her, kissing her forehead, and thanking God, and her father was relieved to look at her.
Sanya’s face of non-concern did not go unnoticed by me. Well, but I care less.
Aunt Nina comes to me and creases my back. She knows what I have been through. I nod towards her, saying I am okay.
She went to Ara to check on her wellbeing. I looked at her, and she was looking at me back-to-back, like I would run away.
She is scared. I nod to her like I am here only.
She understood my words, looked back at everyone, and finally smiled a little. How I miss this smile.
We heard a knock on the door, and the doctor came inside and asked Ara how she was feeling.
He looks back at me. “Mrs. Oldenburg is feeling fine. Luckily, she is not injured much. And her wound is also not deep, but she needs dressing every day as it’s between her hair, so I am not bandaging right now.
He looks back at Ara. “Mrs. Oldenburg, keep your hair open for a few days or tie it loosely, sleep on the other side, and eat healthy food.” She nods in agreement.
“Everything is fine. All the reports are normal. If you want, you can take her home tomorrow.” The doctor spoke after looking at her reports.
“Thank you, doctor. I really appreciate your efforts.”
“Oh, come on, Mr. Oldenburg, it is my job. Now take care; have a good day.” Saying he left the room.
“We have got the food for you, Princess. Let me feed you.” Her mom said it lovingly, taking the bag from Sanya’s hand.
“No,” I said instantly, and they looked at me like they had seen a ghost. I cleared my throat and said, “Actually, her dietitian has given her a plan, which she needs to follow accordingly. I have already informed the cook, and her food must be here anytime.”
AZAR POV
“This is homemade food, and we have made sure everything is light and, as per her test,” Sanya spoke.
“I believe Mom must have done her best to get things as per her choice.” But right now, spicy food is not good for her, and if we are talking about her likings, that means food must be spicy.”
I look at Mom, smiling at her.
Mom smiled and said, “Well, it is not spicy, but it is not blended as well.”
“Mom, let her eat as per her diet plan because she is on antibiotics and it might cause her hyperacidity with spicy food. Later, you can come to the estate and feed her as much as you want.” I said it politely.
“As you say, Azar, for me, her health is more important than anything.” Mom spoke, caressing her cheeks.
I look towards Ara and ask, “Are you hungry?” Thankfully, she shakes her hand. I nod.
I cannot take any risk now; she has been attacked many times, so I want to be careful.
Sometimes James came with her food, bowed to us, and looked towards Ara. “How are you feeling, My Queen?”
“I am fine, James,” she said slowly.
“I am sorry because of me. You must go through this; I should have been more careful.
She shakes her head polity in no. “James, do not say that today. I am alive because of you and your team. You don’t know how thankful I am.”
