This woman was indeed difficult to deal with.
Lina could not help frowning. She was just about to say something to help Rosiley out of the situation.
However, Rosiley beat her to it. She said in a slightly sluggish voice, “Managing Director, you seem to have a lot of opinions against my being the Deputy Manager.”
Tiana said harshly, “I’m just looking at this from my point of view. There’s no need for the Media Department to have two Deputy Managers. So from today onward, you’re removed from your position!”
Her expression told them that there was no room for discussion.
When those around them heard it, they all shook their heads inwardly. Their gazes at Rosiley were filled with pity.
A number of them even thought in their hearts, “This Rosiley is really a troublemaker. Everywhere she goes, she offends somebody.”
Rosiley already guessed that she would say that. She burst into cold laughter on the spot. “Managing Director, you’re very bossy. But I’m afraid you’re not qualified to remove me from my position. Back then, the board decided to promote me. If you have the guts, you should bring it up with them instead of putting on a big show here.”
“What did you say?”
Rosiley’s rebuttal caused Tiana’s face to fall instantly.
Those around her gasped. They were all in awe of Rosiley’s guts to talk back to her.
“This woman is so courageous! Does she not want to stay in the company anymore?”
“Managing Director, you and I are both smart people. There are so many people here yet you are only targeting me. Aren’t you trying to get revenge for Rorey? Haha, and years of experience, bad influence… Such good points you raised. But those are just excuses. I have always done my best for the company. Everyone knows the kind of results I produce. You want to take advantage of your role to carry out your dirty plan. I can only tell you this, you picked on the wrong person!”
Rosiley seemed to not care about the shocked gazes of those around her.
Tiana wanted to act tough, then she had to be tougher than her. She would like to find out if she could take it!
Dead silence!
The whole meeting room was filled with dead silence. There even seemed to be traces of gunpowder burning in the air.
No one dared to make a sound, for fear of being targeted next.
Tiana’s face turned ashen.
As Managing Director, her position was high and she had great power. Even if she wanted to fire Rosiley, no one would dare to object.
However, Rosiley pointed out her personal bias so harshly. If she really fired her at this point, she would definitely not get people on her side in the future.
Tiana was boiling with anger.
Given her status, no matter where she went, everyone would be flattering and fawning over her.
But she never would have expected Rosiley, who used to be so gentle and weak and would always call her “sister Tian’ai” obediently every time, to expose her like this in front of everyone.
“Very well, Rosiley!”
Tiana remained silent for a long time. She tried to suppress her boiling anger then finally scolded Rosiley. “Rosiley, this is the company, not someplace for you to act recklessly. Also, is this the right attitude to have when talking to your superior?”
“I will naturally treat good superiors with respect, but… are you one?”
Rosiley let out a peal of cold laughter and continued to criticize her. “Everyone of us here is where we are today because we’ve put in lots of effort and hard work. As a newly appointed Managing Director, the first thing you do is reap the benefits of our hard work. We didn’t act against the interest of the company, nor did we slack our days away. We earned our positions with our own capabilities. So may I ask, who are you to remove us from our positions?”
