AZAR POV
I know she is not the type to apologize to anyone that easily. Yet I was enjoying her drama.
In her next statement, I got to know her proper colour.
See, Azar, I know you replaced Sanya just because you were mad at me, but please let us forget everything, and I will say sorry to everyone. Let’s try it all over again. Sanya is a kid. She does not understand. Please don’t make her my replacement. She is very innocent and stupid. She will not be able to handle the responsibility of the Queen.”
Hearing her, I smirked at her and thought it was time to give her some reality check.
“Miss Morosini, first of all, you were never my first choice. I came here just because my grandfather wanted it. However, I was going to deny this alliance.
Ara is not your replacement. She is the one I want in my life. And about her being innocent, I am very grateful. She is the one and not fake like you.
Third and last, I am always there to support her and teach her if she cannot handle anything. But I know from the bottom of my heart that she is capable of handling anything and everything.
So, from now on, you at least don’t have to worry about her, as now she is mine, and I know how to take care of what is mine. Got it?”
Her pale face was an indication of her bruised ego. However, she is not the one who can put down her guard. Well, if you say so. As you don’t know her as yet, don’t worry; I shall wait till you get to know the real her.” After saying that, she left the room.
‘This girl is bad news, and I need to keep my eye on her.’ I mentally made up my mind.
‘God, how can two real sisters be polls apart by nature?’ I huffed and left the room to join the others in the living room.
Once I reached it, I noticed the whole family was sitting in the living area and looking very serious. I also notice a small smirk on Sanya’s face, which she was giving to her uncle and aunt.
Ignoring them, I asked my grandfather, “What happened?”
He looked at me, gave me a sad smile, and said, “Son, this engagement is not possible.”
“May I know why that is so?” Hearing this, I raised my eyebrow, looked at the priest, and asked.
I could see he was shivering in answer. Instead of a priest, her uncle replied, “Sire, your and Ara’s horoscopes don’t match.”
Hearing this, my heart sank for a moment, but I kept my blank expression. I picked up my phone while calling our Priest (priest), whom we all trust blindly.
Priest picked up my call, and I wished him Then he asked, “Sire, everything is alright. How come you remember me at this time?”
I looked at Grandfather and said, “Yes, all is well. I am sending you two horoscopes. Please check and let me know if it is getting matched or not, and I want it right away.”
“Sire, please tell me only your birth time, date, and place, and the rest I’ll manage.”
I “hmm” in reply and provide all the details while taking the horoscope from the centre table in front of me.
The entire room was silent. Everyone looked sad and upset, but three people looked stressed.
‘But why?’ I gave it the benefit of the doubt.
Why have their faces become so pale?
I was trying to come to a conclusion when my phone rang, and it was Priest. Picking up the phone, I put it on the speaker: “Yes Priest.”
“Sire, both the kundalini match perfectly. And this is the best kundalini I have seen in my life.” Though I believe he must have overblown it, as one was mine, the fact that it got matched was a relief for me.
Hearing this, I looked at the priest, who was sweating like anything, and then again, I spoke, “But someone told us this is not matching at all.”
Hearing this priest’s voice, I started shivering.
I look at Grandpa and Grandfather. They both smile and give me a satisfactory look.
“Priest, I want you to take out the marriage date of this Horoscope as soon as possible.”
“I already did, Sire; the best date is after one month from today.” I again look at everyone, and they all seem happy and excited.
“Thank you, Priest,” I say, hanging and turning towards the priest.
But before I could say anything, his uncle started shouting at him for the wrong information and kicking him out of the house.
I smirked at the three of them.
They think making a fool of a king is child’s play. Poor souls.
Today I am letting them off, but next time if they come my way, they must see my other
side as well, which I don’t want them to see.
I looked at Grandfather, and he got up and went to Grandpa, hugged him tightly, and said congratulations.
Grandfather and Aunt Nina both come running to me and give me a bone-crushing hug, and I smile at their childishness.
Everyone was happy, but three people were just giving their best fake smiles.
“Grandfather, now I think we should leave, as it is very late,” I said.
He nodded in agreement, and we left for the mansion.
Once we reached home, everyone left their room happily. I went straight to the shower, laid on my bed, and started thinking about today’s event.
This girl is very pure and innocent. I have a powerful urge to protect her, and I am going to do so.
For the first time, someone has affected me so much, and that is a woman.
I have never looked at them seriously. I always used to throw them, but this girl is different. She is smart, feisty, innocent, pure-hearted, and beautiful inside and out.
