Blushed

I tell you; this man is something else. Can you believe what he said?
“Whatever you like.”
Like really?
And guess what? Hearing this, I blushed again.
But why?
Again, I don’t know!
I replied, “Hmmm,” and he hung up on me. Wow, the second time in the day he hangs up on me-can you believe the audacity of this man?
Mr. Wait and Watch, I will teach you manners inside and out; let me into your life, and then you will see what Ara Morosini is.
I told Mom his size, and we started looking for a ring. I don’t like flashy stuff, so I chose a simple infinity band. I got a look from my mom and sister about their disapproval, but I told them he wants what I like, and this is what I like.
They both shook their heads and bought that ring and some jewellery for me.
Finally, we were done with the shopping and went home.
Damn, I am so tired and missing my bed already.
But well, guess what rest is not in my destiny today? The moment we reached, I noticed an Artist do to Heena on my palms was waiting for me, and I looked at my mom and fake-cried like a kid: Mom, I want to sleep now that I am too tired, please.”
Mom’s all-time weapon, her one deadly glare, was enough for my sleep to fly away from me as I sat on the couch like an obedient child.
In one hour, they are done, as I don’t want a full hand; I just did some ritual and Henna on my palm. She asked me the name of my would-be, and I blushed again.
Please, someone tell me why I’m blushing again and again. Huh, it’s annoying.
Nonetheless, I told her just to write S, which she agreed to and wrote somewhere hidden.
And guess what? My tummy again asked for some fuel, which I told my mom, and she said she was getting it.
I was sitting in the guest room on the sofa and waiting for my food. I decide to close my eyes until my mother comes. Again, I hear my latest favourite voice these days (note of sarcasm) saying, “Hello, My Queen.”
I opened my eyes. I noticed he was looking at me with a blank expression.
Seeing him here at this time, I was shocked, which is an understatement, so I kept on looking at him.
Is he real, or am I hallucinating?
Raising my hand, I touch his chin. Dude, he is for real, like real-real. Thank God my henna got dry, or else I would have coloured his face as well.
I instantly got embarrassed and looked down. And could feel him smirking.
He tore chapatti (bread) and mixed it with vegetables, signalling me to open my mouth, which I did. And then I noticed the plate in his hand.
I was starving, so I obliged as I was told without any delay. I was eating peacefully, and again, me being me; I bit his finger. I heard him flinch, and I looked up. He kept his finger in his mouth and kept his eyes on me.
‘Dude, is he going to kill me for such a slight mistake?’ Looking into his eyes, one part of my inner self says,
‘But who told him to feed me?’ Another part of my inner self asked.
‘Thank God, at least I did not, and again, I look down.’ Again, my one part replied.
His look was giving me some weird feelings in my stomach. ‘Oh yeah, I forgot I have an upset stomach, but well, I cannot leave this yummy food for the world.’ Looking down, I concluded,
Again, I look up and notice him staring at me. I wanted to say sorry to him, but before I could say it, he showed me his finger and said, “You have to pay for this, My Queen.”
Pay for this?
‘Now is he going to take charge of such a small mistake? Or may I have to pay his medical bill?’ I thought.
Well, it does not look like a serious injury, anyway. If he says so, I will pay.
I said, “Okay, I will pay for your bills.”
Hearing me, he gives me a confused look, so I clear his confusion and say, “Let me know what your doctor says and how serious harm I have caused. I will pay for that damage.”
Hearing me, he closed his eyes as if he were controlling his emotions, or maybe anger?
But again, what did I do?
I am ready to pay. What else does he want?
He wants me to die for such a small mistake.
My eyes were still on him as he opened his eyes and came close to me. Nope, not close, but very close. His breath was fanning on my neck, and his intoxicating smell was barring my powers. “You have to pay my way, and I’ll let you know when the right time comes,” and he bit my earlobe a little and went out of the room.
Man, his one touch made a shiver run down all over my body.
Dude, this man is bad news.
Ara stays away from him as much as possible.
With that thought, I closed my eyes, and sleep took over.
After finishing my work, I went down and noticed Aunt Nina and Grandfather were talking about something.
Walking to them, I sat nearby with Grandfather and started checking my mail on my phone, as I was least interested in their conversation.
But then something caught my attention when I heard them leaving for her house.
I raised my eyebrow and asked, “Why are you going there this late? Everything is alright?” I could hold back my confusion.
Aunt Nina smiled and said, “We know you want to keep it a close family function, but it is not only your engagement; it is hers as well. And we cannot tell them not to invite their own family.”
