Uncle Zhao left soon after. Right after he left, Rosiley could not wait to pass the solutions to the doctor to check them out.
The result was unexpected; the doctor did not recognize this solution. “This thing must be imported. Right now, it isn’t on the market, so we’ll need to do a further examination in order to find out its components.”
“In that case, we’ll have to trouble you to do that.”
After exiting the doctor’s office politely, Rosiley took in a deep breath. She tried to oppress the frustration in her heart.
Sachin hugged her and whispered in her ears gently, “The results will be out soon. Don’t worry.”
Rosiley leaned her head against his chest. There was suddenly a hint of tiredness in her tone. “Do you think there’s really someone on earth so cold-hearted?”
All these years, she had gone through endless suffering through fighting Rorey and her mother alone.
However, she never admitted defeat. She was like a female knight that counter-attacked with all her might and was never tired.
However, when this thing led to the reason behind Seneca’s sudden collapse, she then felt the true cruelty of humans’ hearts.
Sachin knew what she was thinking. He hugged her tightly out of pity and said gently, “Yes, but those people usually don’t come to a good end. You still have me!”
Rosiley nodded.
She still had him! She could only feel peaceful with him by her side.
At noon, the results of the solution had yet to come back. Meanwhile, Xiaoxiao and Yayoi arrived first.
When she saw the two of them, Rosiley’s mood was uplifted tremendously. She looked at Xiaoxiao and asked curiously, “What have you been up to these days, Miss Busy?”
“What can I do? Of course, I was handling something important.”
Xiaoxiao lifted her delicate chin proudly. A mischievous look flashed across her beautiful eyes.
Rosiley looked at her, feeling extremely suspicious. “You’re a jobless person that just came back home. What important matter could you have?”
“Hehe, that’s a secret. I can’t tell you guys yet. I’ll let you know when the timing is right.”
Xiaoxiao laughed cheekily. She then turned to look toward the ward and pointed at Seneca. “How is he?”
“He still needs to stay in the ICU for two more days.”
“Don’t worry too much. Uncle will definitely wake up.”
Xiaoxiao patted Rosiley’s shoulder and comforted her.
Rosiley nodded, but she did not feel assured.
Even the doctors did not know when her father would wake up. Who knew what the ending would be like?
“Xiaoxiao is right. Stop frowning.”
Yayoi comforted her simply. However, it was obvious that it did not work very well.
The trio chatted for a bit and Sachin returned coincidentally. Seeing them, he nodded simply as a sign of greeting.
Yayoi responded quickly. Meanwhile, Xiaoxiao glanced at Sachin from head to toe.
This rich young miss was different from others. Her taste in men was extremely picky. There were only just a few men on earth whom she would set her eyes on.
Besides, Rosiley was her good friend. Hence, her taste became even pickier.
As for Sachin, no matter where he went, he always received attention, like royalty. This was probably the first time he was being judged. He felt strange and his thick brows could not help lifting up. However, he was not pissed, so he let Xiaoxiao be.
After a while, he then stretched out his hand and said to Xiaoxiao, “Miss Ying, I often hear My Lady mentioning you, but this is my first time meeting you. I’m Sachin!”
