“Gosh, Max! Is this our new home? It’s so beautiful,” Gabriella exclaimed as she entered the small house with glass walls builded over the sea.
Seeing his wife laughing happily, Max also raised the corners of his lips. “Yes. Do you like it?”
The woman who initially turned her gaze around, then looked straight to her husband. While nodding, she burst into the man’s arms.
“Thank you, Max. I never expected to live in a house as beautiful as this,” she whispered with teary eyes, spreading a warm feeling in the man’s heart.
“I’d do anything for you, Gaby,” Max whispered softly.
A second later, the woman met the gaze again. “I will also do anything for your happiness,” she replied, still wrapping her arms around the man’s neck.
“Then, does it mean … you want to change into a bikini now?” Max teased while squinting. Gabriella’s laughter spontaneously filled the air.
“We just arrived, Max. There’s still plenty of time for fun. How about you take a shower and then rest? Tomorrow, we’ll relax.”
“But you’re going to wear a bikini, right?”
Feeling exasperated, Gabriella pinched her husband’s cheek. “What’s with your brain and bikini, huh?”
“Both attached to you, Gaby,” Max said before grabbing his wife’s wrist and kissing. “If you don’t want to take out your bikini yet, how about you accompany me to take a bath?”
In an instant, the woman’s eyes had narrowed. “Why do I need to accompany you? You can shower by yourself, Max.”
“I want to fill every moment here with you, Gaby. Bathing, eating, sleeping, having fun, everything I want to do is with you,” the man said while stroking his wife’s cheek.
Hearing that answer, Gabriella gave a small snort. She had never won against her husband’s seduction. “Does it mean, we should brush our teeth together too?” the woman joked, tilting her head.
“Of course,” the man answered before landing a kiss.
After receiving such a brief warmth, Gabriella’s smile grew perfectly. With gentle movements, she began to slip her fingers into the man’s grip.
“Then show me where the bathroom is,” the woman said in a light voice.
With a big smile, Max finally walked over, pulling his wife’s hand. There was no more burden in his mind. All troubles had been devoured by happiness.
Upon entering a room with a shower, bathtub, and sunset views, Gabriella immediately stopped in her tracks.
“Why is there a glass wall here too? How do we take a shower?” the woman exclaimed with round eyes and gaping mouth.
The man suddenly laughed at his wife’s reaction. “Are you afraid that someone will watch our romance?” Max joked as he grabbed Gabriella’s waist.
With her gaze still fixed on the transparent wall, the woman sighed, “Yeah, what if someone sees?”
The curve of the man’s lips instantly widened. With one eyebrow raised, he began to loosen his belt. “Won’t the atmosphere get hotter if someone watches?”
“Aren’t you ashamed?” Gabriella said in disbelief at her husband’s relaxed attitude. “How about we add curtains? So, we can take a shower without being afraid of someone peeking.”
“No time, Gaby. It’s almost night. After all, we should be grateful that they have provided soap and shampoo,” the man said as he had undressed himself. A second later, he began to strip the woman’s clothes that furrowed her brows.
“Aren’t you angry if another man sees my bare body?” Gabriella asked, shaking her head slightly.
Unexpectedly, Max laughed instead. “Why are you so innocent, Gaby? I won’t let another man see your body. That’s why, I invite you to take a bath together. So that I can keep an eye on the situation.”
“What would you do if someone passes?”
“I just cover your body with mine like an eclipse. Isn’t that easy?” Max said with a meaningful lopsided smile.
Hearing her husband’s spontaneous answer, Gabriella sighed in disbelief. “You really are very smart, Max Evans.”
“And you are very seductive, Mrs. Evans.”
A second later, the man had placed his hand on his wife’s waist. With slow steps, he guided the woman backwards until she was right under the shower.
“How can I take a shower if I keep facing you like this?” Gabriella chirped, lifting her chin slightly.
“You don’t want to face me?” Max asked in a strange tone.
“Not that I don’t want to, but, this position makes me uncomfortable. So, let’s lower your hands.”
With a wry smile, the man complied with his wife’s request. When the water started pouring, he also wet himself.
However, as soon as the faucet was turned off, the man immediately poured soap and returned his hand to Gabriella.
“Max?”
With a crooked smile, the man began to foam.
“I can do it myself,” Gabriella protested as her cheeks were turning red. Her plan to rest immediately after bathing threatened to fail.
“What’s wrong with receiving help from me? Besides, I enjoy doing this.”
Not wanting to stir up the atmosphere, the woman turned around and poured soap into her palms. With a swift motion, she cleaned her husband.
“We need to rest soon, Max. You can’t be too tired,” Gabriella muttered as she ignored the hands that were still exploring.
“But, I’m not tired at all.”
In just an instant, the woman turned back and poured shampoo in her palms.
“Why are you in such a hurry, Gaby? It won’t be clean if you act like this,” Max teased as he took a step forward. He almost laughed when his wife flinched slightly.
“Don’t play around, Max. Quickly, finish your bath,” Gabriella said while rubbing her head.
She must be agile if she wanted to avoid the game that knew no time. The man who was no longer distant from her, had already started giving signals.
Feeling pressed, the woman turned on the shower again. As if considering herself a soldier, Gabriella rinsed off the body in just a few seconds.
“I’m done,” she said, turning to leave.
However, as soon as the woman saw what was in the way, her steps suddenly stopped.
“Do you have the heart to leave me like this?” Max asked pitifully.
With her mouth gaping wordlessly, Gabriella sighed. “Why can’t you hold it in?” the woman asked with furrowed brows expressed indecision.
“Because you’re too charming,” the man said, grabbing his wife’s arm. “Come on, Gaby. You’ve never done it while enjoying the sunset, have you?”
Seeing the hopeful expression, Gabriella’s defenses wavered. She realized that she would not be able to avoid the game that had started. “Okay, but only one session.”
A bright smile automatically brightened the man’s face. “You’re the best, Gaby,” he whispered before turning his wife to face the sun.
“What are you doing?” the woman asked as she was surprised to be faced with the open sea which was starting to turn red.
“Experimenting,” Max said before pushing his wife against the glass.
“Ah, Max!” Gabriella screamed as she was already like a house lizard on the wall. “You don’t mean to show your wife’s body to the world, do you?”
Realizing that he was pushing too hard, the man immediately eased the pressure. “Sorry. I’m too excited.”
“Don’t tell me you’re trying out the scene you watched on the plane.”
In just an instant, Max flinched and fell silent. Gabriella’s eyebrows twitched in annoyance. With all her might, the woman pushed her body backwards.
“That’s enough! We’ll just do it the normal way.” Without further ado, she pulled her husband’s hand towards the room.
“But that’s almost like what I saw, Gaby.”
“Don’t make it up. I’m like paper stuck to a copier.”
With puffy cheeks holding back laughter, Max followed in his wife’s footsteps. Indeed, only Gabriella was able to erase his sadness until it’s completely gone.
“Thank you, Gaby. You made this new house full of happiness,” the man thought as he wished the peace to continue. He didn’t know that a threat was approaching him.
