“Do you want to do it here?” Max whispered after realizing that Gabriella was kissing him back.
“Yes,” the woman sighed as she brushed the foam that had almost disappeared from her husband’s hair. “But, may I serve you tonight?”
At the unexpected suggestion, the man’s eyebrows arched maximally. “Are you serious?”
“Of course.”
A second later, Gabriella began to dip her hands in the water. After a while, Max began to release pleasure in the air.
“Am I doing it right?” the woman whispered while continuing to make water ripples.
“Yes,” the man sighed as he was barely able to answer. He had been lulled by his wife’s massage.
“How about this?”
Suddenly, Max let out a long groan and gripped the bathtub wall. Unexpectedly, Gabriella chuckled at her husband’s expression.
“Do you know that your face is really ugly right now?” she teased with a crooked smile.
The man who was being attacked by his own heartbeat also raised the corners of his lips. “It’s only you who can look beautiful while climbing.”
“Climbing?”
“Yes. You are helping me to reach the top, aren’t you?” Max sighed in between gasping breaths.
The woman automatically raised an eyebrow. “Right. Then, let me make you fly.”
A second later, a long groan was heard again. The man could not afford to rely solely on the tub wall. Without a word, he grabbed the soft pad that made Gabriella squeal.
“Don’t cheat, Max! This is my game. You can’t take over,” the woman protested with small frowns at the base of her brows. Her heart rate had increased drastically, making her hand movements a little stiffer.
“What’s the fun of playing alone, Gaby? Shall we see, who is stronger?” the man challenged while vibrating the tip of his index finger.
In just an instant, the wife’s face had turned red. Not wanting to show weakness, Gabriella looked down for a moment and caught her breath. Then, she could see how nimble her husband’s game is.
After a quick sigh, the woman showed her blushing cheeks again. “Okay. If I win, you must grant my wish.”
“If I win, you must also grant my wish,” Max replied, lifting the corner of his lips.
“Deal!”
With all her might, Gabriella stepped up the game. She tried to focus on the movement of her hands only.
However, after a while, the woman realized that her body had been jolted several times by her husband’s shrewdness. Even so, she refused to give in.
“If I win, you must grant my three wishes,” she said trying to distract her husband.
“If I win, you just need to grant one,” the man said with the same breath.
Suddenly, Max changed the position of his hands. With two thumbs, he managed to make his wife bend down and grip him tighter.
“Aaargh! Gaby!” the man groaned hard. He didn’t expect that his attack could become a boomerang.
Receiving such a response, the woman chuckled. “Finally, I found your weak point.”
Wasting no time, Gabriella repeated what she had done. A moment later, her husband already gritted his teeth and breathed faster.
Not wanting to lose, Max finally attacked the same level point. In just an instant, Gabriella had bitten her lip and frowned.
“Give it up, Gaby. You’re not going to win,” the man whispered as he didn’t know how long it would last.
“No way!”
A second later, the sighs became more frequent, making the warmth in the air even more smoldering. The shrill their short voices got, the closer they got to the top. Until suddenly, Max stood up and stepped out of the bathtub.
“What are you doing?” the woman asked, not expecting their competition to be paused.
“I can’t take it anymore,” Max said before turning on the shower and rinsing off the remaining foam in his hair.
“Do you give up?” Gabriella asked in an uphill tone as she emerged from the water.
After a few moments, the man returned his gaze with a lopsided smile. “No. I want to start a real match.”
Without warning, Max pulled the woman into his arms. “I won’t let you win,” he whispered before starting to shower her with tenderness.
Little by little, the man pushed Gabriella back from the bathroom. When they arrived near the bed, without hesitation, Max turned his wife over and pushed her down between the pillows.
“Max!”
Before Gabriella could protest, her husband’s actions had widened her eyes and mouth.
“This is cheating. If we’re in this position, I’ll be the only one being attacked,” the woman shouted as she tried to turn around.
“It’s part of the tactic. You should be more careful, Gaby,” the man replied before starting to pump.
After a few pushes, Max could see his wife’s hand gripping the pillow. Shortly after, Gabriella’s thin voice had ignited spirits.
“Come on, Gaby, let me win. I have an important request that you must grant,” the man sighed as he tickled his wife’s ear.
“Really, what do you want?” Gabriella asked as she struggled to catch her breath.
The man’s voice suddenly sounded light. “I want us to do this every night.”
“Are you crazy? That’s overkill. You’re not a pulverizing machine, Max.”
Hearing the chatter of his wife, the man spontaneously laughed. “I’m kidding, Gaby.” A second later, he pressed his lips to her ear.
“I want us to always be together. Forever. Every morning, I can kiss your forehead as soon as I wake up. And every night, I can kiss your lips before going to sleep. Isn’t that a lot of fun?”
Hearing her husband’s enthusiastic whisper, Gabriella’s expression suddenly froze. Worry had come back to her, reminding that what she was going through, might not happen again.
“Max, can I do it for you tonight?” Gabriella asked, holding back a groan.
“Why?” the husband asked with furrowed brows.
“Because all this time, I’ve never done it,” the woman replied flatly. “Let me make you the king tonight.”
Hearing such a magical request, Max finally stopped. “Are you sure?” he asked as he helped his wife up.
After a while, Gabriella’s eyeballs shook at the sight of her husband. “Yes,” she said before curling a small smile.
“Are you doing it out of regret for going against my orders?” Max inquired, feeling strange at the change in the attitude of a woman who usually always resisted.
“Think of it that way,” Gabriella said as she got up on her knees. While swallowing, the woman snuggled closer to the man who had been flat on the bed.
“You’re not going to disappoint me, are you?”
Gabriella shook her head sadly. “No. Now, enjoy. Pretend that this is the last time you have fun with me.”
In just an instant, joy left the man’s face. A strange premonition had overshadowed his heart. “Why are you talking like that? I don’t want you say such bad things.”
Unexpectedly, the wife chuckled and stroked his cheek.
“It’s just a phrase, Max. Wouldn’t something feel more meaningful if it’s done wholeheartedly? When we take something last, we appreciate every second more.”
“But I don’t agree. We don’t have to wait at the end to appreciate time. Even now, every second of mine is precious because you are by my side.”
Holding her breath, Gabriella smiled widely. “Do you know? When you’re not being annoying, you’re very caring and romantic.”
The tension on the man’s face finally faded. “I know. You’re the one who realized it too late.”
“Yes …. I’m really late.”
Without any more words, Gabriella began to evoke true intimacy with her husband. With tears held behind her eyelids, the woman gave the warmth with all her heart.
“I’m sorry, Max. I should have realized it earlier, not in the end like this,” she thought bitterly.
