I calmed myself before stepping out and rushing to the garden to see if she would be there waiting for me but she wasn’t there either.
Gabby where on earth are you now? Where did you go to? Just say something to me or send a message with your spells, this is getting complicated.
“Martins, any news.” I mind-linked with him.
“Not yet but someone claimed to have seen her leaving with Jessica.”
“Are you serious? Then she is in good hands, I am coming right away.” I replied and rushed out to meet my beta at the spot he was with the person explaining to him.
“Alpha, you are here already.”
“Yes, you explain everything you know.” I pointed at the lady who claimed to have seen my wife.
“Greetings Alpha, the Luna is not missing, she made use of spells to stop some of us from interfering with her plan to go out from the pack with the assistance of the witch.” She explained.
“Are you sure about it?” I wondered why my wife would want to go out of the pack.
“Yes, I am very sure about it, they left together but I didn’t know where they went but I am certain they used spells.” She added and I took a deep breath speaking with Lethal, “She is with Jessica, I feel she is in safer hands but why are they still not back?”
“I feel something is not right here.” My wolf form said.
“If she is in safe hands then why can’t I have access to her? Why can’t we feel her and mind link with her? She is in danger.”
“You are right.” I stopped talking to him and faced Martins.
“Where is Jessica? I thought you said she left to find out who is manipulating everyone?”
“Yes, I haven’t set my eyes on her since the day she left, maybe she came and left with the Luna.”
“let’s better hope she is not the enemy herself, ever since she came in here, everything this been wrong, I know she is someone you love but be sensitive.”
“Yes, Alpha.”
One of the maids came to me saying, “Alpha Nicklaus, Estella is refusing to eat.”
“What? Take me to her now.” I said leaving every other thing for my beta to handle.
I saw Estella looking so happy, I guess she misses her mother just like me.
“My beautiful daughter, what is going through your little mind?” I tried to play with her but she wasn’t responding at all.
“Dad, where is mom? I haven’t seen her, did she go somewhere without me?”
“No, she didn’t, she will never leave without you, she will be back soon.”
“Father, stop lying to me, I heard everything, Mom is missing and you are worried because you have no idea where she is at the moment.”
I didn’t know what else to say, she finally caught me
“Mom is not actually missing, she is with Jessica and they will both be returning soon.” I tried to cover up using Jessica but never knew my daughter was twice smarter than I thought.
“Father, you also have no idea where Aunt Jessica is as well, please tell me no harm happened to my mother, I want to see her again, I miss her so much.” She started crying.
“Oh dear child, stop crying, you break my heart whenever I see your tears, Daddy is here for you and I promise to protect you and get your mother for you.” I hugged her caressing her hair and kept encouraging her but it was not working at all
Estella is so desperate to find her mother and I am also desperate as well, what are the odds here? Is Jessica really the enemy that we are chasing or the person who witnessed the whole thing doesn’t know who my wife left with? There is no way she could have just guessed Jessica, she was very sure of the person to be Jessica with the way she described her and she is the only person who can make use of spells as well
I feel completely useless right now not knowing where to start searching to get my wife back. If she was taken by her father then I am certain he would have sent words to me to come to him immediately and do whatever he wishes to do also if she is with the enemy, the Black Moon Pack, then by now they must have started to attack us and threaten me knowing so well she is my weakness.
Gabby where are you exactly? Are you doing okay? At least mind linking with me, tell me the place you are so I can come and get you.
“Father, I am so scared,” Estella said getting me off my deep thoughts.
“You don’t have to be scared my dear child, you have me here with you and as long I am here, nobody will dare lay his or her hands on you.”
“Thank you, Daddy.” She hugged me and I smiled saying, “Now eat your meal so when Mother returns, she will be happy to see you in good health.” I finally was able to make Estella eat her food. I watched her eat and imagined Gabriella sitting with us and we all laughing together, oh how I miss those happy moments…
Immediately one of my guards rushed to me and whispered to my hearings, “Alpha Nicklaus, Jessica just stepped in and headed to the room you gave to her.”
“Hold ” I stopped him.
I need to talk to him and I don’t want Estella to be aware as well now I have been able to calm her down and make her eat her food.
“I will check on you soon my child, now Daddy needs to solve some pack issues and also look for your mother.”
“Okay, Dad.” She said with a big smile on her face and I left with the guard.
“Jessica is here right?”
“Yes, Alpha..”
“Good, what about my wife, is she heading to our room now?” I said hoping my wife was with her but he told me otherwise.
“She came alone Alpha, the Luna was not found with her and with the way she headed to her room, she looked so tired.”
“You mean my wife is not with her as we speak?”
“No, she is not with her.”
“Where is Martins?”
“He stepped out with some of the others to search for the Luna.” He replied.
“Bring Jessica to me now and alert everyone, she is not allowed to leave this pack no matter what.”
“Yes Alpha ” He replied before dashing out to pass the message. I know Jessica always means well to me but this is my wife we are talking about here, I have to do everything possible to look for her even if I have to hurt the ones I also care for.
