Nate’s POV
I finally took her to the place and gave her time to talk to the family as she wanted. I noticed how she took it so seriously, this only meant I was getting there already and there was nothing that could come in to destroy my effort.
I checked the time and came up with a different lie saying, “Let’s eat some roadside meat, they are your favorite.” I held her hands in the process and she agreed.
We both walked to the spot together and I decided to be romantic a little bit.
“Open your mouth, my love.” She obeyed and closed her eyes while she chewed them slowly. I had to ask her if she liked it and she replied, “Like is an understatement, I love it so much,” She requested more and I instructed the person in charge to get us more.
“Gabby, I am really thankful to the moon goddess that I have you in my life, I would be incomplete without you.” I winked at her trying to give a deep connection here and she smiled saying, “I am happy to hear you say such sweet words to me, I owe you a lot.”
“Can you promise me something?” I just wanted to set things strange just in case Alpha Nicklaus tries to come in by any means to change her mind, she will not believe him, no matter what.
“Promise me you will never listen to an outsider, most of them are working for Alpha Nicklaus and he is aware you are suffering from memory loss.” I lied.
“Really? But how?”
“News spread like wildfire these days so it’s very easy to know.”
“I will not listen to anyone else except for you, be it the person is from within the pack or outside the pack, I will trust only you and I will put in more effort to regain my memory.” She gave me her word and I took it seriously to heart
“I feel so happy to hear that, what a relief.” I thought it would not be a bad idea to try and kiss her, after all, she is my bride now so I made a move to kiss her but she avoided it, I got angry but tried to remain calm.
“I am sorry, I didn’t mean to,” She pleaded and I acted like I was not upset with her at all.
“You don’t have to be sorry, I should be the one saying sorry because I am rushing things and you are yet to remember the lovely memories we shared together as well.”
“Is just that you love it anything I try to always kiss you, you once told me kissing you in public makes you feel special and I am not ashamed of you.” I created a false story hoping she would make the next move herself to kiss me but instead, she stopped talking, seems something else got her attention, I hope she hasn’t gotten her memory back. I need to find out everything and know what she just remembered.
“Gabby!! Gabby!!”
I called her name severally but she didn’t reply so I had to tap her shoulders then she turned saying, “Sorry, did you say something?”
“You seem so carried away, tell me did you remember anything about your memory?”
“Not at all.”
She is lying, I know she must recall something and she is trying to keep it away from me, well one thing is certain she can not escape my bondage now.
“Okay but please, do tell me when you remember anything or find anything confusing, I am willing to help you because it’s my responsibility.” I convinced her and she didn’t open up to me.
“Sure, I will tell you immediately.”
“Okay, you seemed tired, do you want me to take you home? Besides you have tried for today, we can continue tomorrow so I won’t stress your thinking.” I stood up immediately.
“No, I am okay for real, I am not tired, I just felt like something is missing, like I am missing someone so dear to me and it feels like I am going to cry soon.” I guess the love she has for Nicklaus is rooted deep in her heart and despite everything Silvia has done, she still misses him and has no idea who she is currently missing in her life.
“It is just a little confusion because you are getting your memories back,” I added with my hands caressing her hair
“Can we take a little walk? I would love to get a glimpse of what is happening over there.” She pointed at the spot she wanted to visit and I agreed.
“Okay, as you wish my queen, I believe you want to get a painting home right?” I said when I noticed that was the place she pointed to, they just sell artworks there.
“Oh yes, I think so.” She smiled at me. We walked together towards the place and she admired everything, getting Inside, the artist showed his respect to us,
“Greetings Alpha Nate and Luna Gabriella.”
Gabby whispered to my hearing saying, “I thought no one would know us here since we are here to act like regular people.”
I did the same thing to her saying, “That’s because we didn’t come with our disguise clothes.”
“Oh, I see now.”
I allowed her to fill her eyes with the artwork then suddenly I got a phone call from one of the errand rogues, “Hello.”
“Alpha Nate, I got some bad news, The Blood Moon Pack attacked one of our territories.”
“What? And you are reporting failure to me? Claim it back and better be dead if you don’t .” I ended the call and I revealed my dark pupils out of rage, I needed to hurry up with all my plans and defeat the Blood Moon Pack once and for all.
I took a deep breath and tried to let out a smile before speaking to Gabby. I said to her, “It’s time to go home.”
“Okay, hope to see your beautiful works again, I will go with this.”
She pointed at the artwork that she intended to take home and I realized she was looking for money in her purse to pay.
I smiled and made the payment for her without having a conversation, she just kept looking at me.
We took the painting she loved and headed to my car which was brought by one of my errand werewolves and I said to her inside the car as we headed home, “Tell me anything you want and I will pay for it at once.” She nodded with a brief smile on her face.
When we arrived, I made sure she returned to her room and I gave a strict order, “On no account should the Luna leave the Mansion and also no visitors except the ones I permitted, others are not allowed to see her or come close to her.”
“Yes, Alpha.”
“Everyone you must serve her with all your heart and I don’t wish to get any reports of any kind, if I do, that will be your last day on this planet Earth.” I made the whole thing clear and left them for an important meeting.
I stepped in and everyone went on their kneels shivering in fear, I am their nightmare, I bring pain to the world and seeing my beta, I slapped him four times and he kept begging, “I gave you ten minutes but what did you do? You almost ruined the plan.”
“Please forgive me Alpha, I didn’t mean to waste time or ruin the plan.”
“You are so lucky that you are my beta, if not I would have killed you already, get on your feet let’s begin today’s business,” I ordered.
“Thank you so much Alpha.” He said standing on his feet and going to his position for us to begin the meeting.
Immediately after the meeting was completed, I was in the mood to have sex with Gabby, to calm the beast inside of me so I returned to my room, tonight was the night I would bond with her, she can’t run away from me even if she later remembers her memories.
I opened the door, approached Gabriella and forced myself to kiss her, she kept resisting and this made me angry, I couldn’t control myself any longer so I yelled at her, “What is wrong with you? Are you not missing my touch?”
“I am sorry, it’s just that, I am not ready for that now, please can you bear with me? I really don’t mean to stop you but I just need a little time to adjust.” She pleaded and I hit the wall with anger, “Are you kidding me? How long do I wait? I need to make love with you right now and I do not think I can hold it back any longer.” I added taking off her clothes with force and with a push, I landed on the ground feeling pains inside of me, I noticed her crescent marks were reflecting and her wolf eyes were out as well.
She is more powerful than I thought, for my own good, I rather take things slowly and apologize to her so I said, “I am sorry, I really don’t know what came over me, I will give you time to rest, please don’t hate me ” I said taking my leave and when I stepped out, I began to laugh but got interrupted by one of my pack warriors and he said, “The Luna Father is here to see you.”
