“Let’s not talk about anything else. Just consider the Yin-Yang Mystic Art that the Atrarian possesses. If one family were to obtain it, the other families would be restless.”
“The ensuing conflict wouldn’t be simple. It would be a battle of blades and swords, possibly even rivers of blood.”
Samson spoke coldly.
If one family alone obtained the Yin-Yang Mystic Art, it would pose a significant threat to the other families.
The other families would never allow one to grow so powerful unchecked.
“Moreover, I’ve heard that this Leo from Atraria isn’t easy to deal with.”
“At least, Maniwa and Reece, your Koken family and Hojo Clan have lost Earth Ninjas to him.”
Samson’s gaze turned to Maniwa and Reece.
Maniwa and Reece both nodded.
Yonamine Yoshinaka of the Koken family, along with several Human Ninjas and Upper Ninjas, had died at Leo’s hands, as well as two high-ranking family executives.
The Hojo Clan had also lost an Earth Ninja and two Human Ninjas to Leo.
“Rather than our four families scheming against each other for the Yin-Yang Mystic Art and the martial arts sect’s location, which would ultimately lead to bloody conflict,” Samson paused, his eyes flashing with a deep and stern light, “we should unite and capture that Atrarian first! No matter how strong he is, he can’t possibly stand against the top four families of Orientia!”
At these words, Maniwa, Reece, and Theodore Ratliff all stiffened, their eyes flickering with thought.
“Everyone here is smart, so let’s set aside our grudges and past enmities for now!” Seeing their silence, a slow smile crept onto Samson’s lips.
Maniwa thought to himself, “This cunning person has calculated everything as usual.”
But he had to admit, Samson’s proposal was good.
The benefits were too great for any one family to monopolize; the others would never agree.
If the four families joined forces, no matter how powerful Leo was, he wouldn’t stand a chance.
Reece and Theodore Ratliff looked at Samson with increased wariness.
“Miss Samson, how will we divide the spoils?” Reece asked, his main concern evident.
“The distribution is simple. Once we obtain the Yin-Yang Mystic Art, each of our four families will get a share. How much we can integrate and learn will depend on our abilities.”
“With the help of Atraria’s Yin-Yang Mystic Art, our ninjutsu in Orientia will advance even further! At that time, everyone here will be a hero in the history of ninjutsu development!”
After Samson finished speaking, Maniwa, Reece, and Theodore Ratliff’s eyes gleamed with interest.
Clearly, they were tempted by the proposal.
“As for the Seven Stars Sword Sect and its rare fruits and Spirit Medicine, we’ll divide them equally among our four families.”
Samson finished speaking and slowly sipped a cup of tea.
“Everyone, if there are no objections, please make your stance clear.” Samson set down his teacup and looked at Maniwa and the others.
After a moment of silence, Maniwa looked at Samson. “The Koken family agrees!”
With the four families united, Leo was doomed. Everything he had would be theirs.
An equal distribution plan seemed the best option.
“The Tanner family agrees!”
“The Hojo Clan agrees!”
“In that case, it’s settled. We’ll attack the Seven Stars Sword Sect together on a chosen day!” Samson smiled and raised his teacup.
Maniwa, Theodore Ratliff, and Reece also raised their cups.
The four of them drank their tea in place of wine.
“Everyone, in this battle, please don’t hold back.”
“I know that among the families present, there are Heaven Ninja elders. Some may already be in Langstel; others are still in the country.”
“This time, I hope each family can send out their Heaven Ninja elders!”
Samson’s meaning was clear: each family should deploy one Heaven Ninja.
If four Heaven Ninjas were truly deployed, it would be an incredibly powerful lineup.
Heaven Ninjas were the most formidable ninjas, akin to nuclear weapons within a family.
With a Heaven Ninja present, no force would dare underestimate that family.
Even among their four families, each only had one or two Heaven Ninjas, who mostly remained in seclusion.
The reason for seclusion was often not training but slowing their breathing and heart rate to extend their lifespan.
“Is it necessary to deploy Heaven Ninjas for a mere third-tier? A few high-level Earth Ninjas should suffice to capture that Atrarian boy.” Theodore Ratliff frowned, his voice tinged with doubt.
In ninja history, it was almost unheard of for four Heaven Ninjas to jointly target one force.
“Theodore Ratliff, the Yin-Yang Mystic Art is of great importance. With four Heaven Ninjas involved, even the top martial arts sects in Atraria could be annihilated.”
“We need to strike with an unshakable thunderous force and succeed in one blow!”
Samson’s eyes flashed with brilliance, his tone more severe.
“Moreover, you must have heard by now that a prince from the Western Modock Family has led his elite forces to Atraria. You all know what they intend to do.”
Reece and Theodore Ratliff fell silent; they were aware of the Wolf Tribe Prince’s actions.
“If four immensely powerful Heaven Ninjas appear together, it will also serve as a deterrent to these wolves. One Heaven Ninja alone wouldn’t be enough to intimidate that Wolf Tribe Prince.”
“Rather than sharing with the Wolf Tribe, we should use our thunderous force to seize all benefits and then divide them among ourselves!”
Samson’s analysis was convincing.
Maniwa, Reece, and Theodore Ratliff all nodded in agreement.
“Then please inform your family elders as soon as possible so that the Heaven Ninjas can come to Atraria quickly!” A smile curved on Samson’s lips.
“Atrarian, are you ready?” Samson smiled as he picked up his teacup. In an instant, the hard cup turned to powder in his slender hand.
A sudden wind blew away the falling powder, rustling the paper cranes in the courtyard and ringing the wind chimes.
The wind chimes’ melodious sound carried an inexplicable sense of foreboding.
In the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, Leo took a taxi to the airport.
