Book:Pregnant After Rejected By Alpha Published:2024-7-16

Gabriella’s POV
I had never been celebrated like this before. Within my pack, I feel insignificant, and the only person my father respects more than me is my twin sister, Tracy. I seem to still be perceived as the weak omega I once was. I miss my family dearly, but since I left, it appears that they’ve forgotten about me. No one has bothered to search for me, and I wonder if I’ve become a forgotten memory to them.
As the celebration continued, I noticed my daughter happily engaging with her new friends, who treated her like royalty. Nicklaus was busy attending to various matters, leaving me to navigate the festivities on my own. I understand his responsibilities as the alpha, yet I can’t help feeling a bit lonely as he works to restore order.
Just as I was about to head to my room, a group of ladies approached me with smiles. “Greetings, Luna. My name is Mabel, and this is Joan,” they introduced themselves. I returned their smiles, saying, “Nice to meet you all. Please, call me Gabriella. No need to address me as Luna.”
“Oh no, we must address you as Luna. You are our Alpha’s mate. How are you enjoying yourself? Would you like another drink?” they inquired.
“I’m fine, thank you,” I replied. Their respectful treatment surprises me. I’m still the weak omega I’ve always been. If they were to discover my true status, would their attitude towards me change?
For now, I’ll relish this moment of respect and kindness. It’s the best I can do in the present circumstances. We engaged in conversation about various topics, including the pack’s history and festivals. Due to recent wars, celebrations had been limited, but now that the alpha and his Luna have returned, there’s hope that things will improve.
Excusing myself, I made my way to Alpha Nicklaus’s room. He had mentioned earlier that we’d be sharing a room, aiming to strengthen our connection. I undressed and stepped into the shower, reflecting on Margaret’s words before I left. “Remember, the entire pack needs you. Don’t doubt yourself. If you need help, we’re here for you, no matter what.”
Can I truly fulfill this role? What if I’m not cut out to lead as their Luna? Should I ask Nicklaus to delay the Luna celebration until I feel ready? Everything is happening so quickly, and I’m plagued by uncertainty. Moon goddess, guide me and prevent me from bringing shame or pain to the pack.
I sensed Nicklaus’s presence, and he kissed my neck affectionately. “You’re beautiful from every angle,” he whispered.
“You’re truly spoiled,” I giggled.
“I’m only spoiled for you,” he assured. He turned me around and kissed me tenderly, his hands caressing my body. We moved from the bathroom to the bedroom, continuing to share passionate kisses. His touch felt exquisite as his fingers explored my curves, and I didn’t want the sensation to end.
“I’ve missed you so much,” I murmured, climbing onto his body. He cupped my rear, and just as things were heating up, the door suddenly swung open. Our actions ceased abruptly.
“Damn it, Mateo, can’t you knock?” I blurted, hastily wrapping myself in the blanket, feeling utterly embarrassed. Mateo had unexpectedly walked in on us.
“I’m sorry. I was used to you being here alone. But don’t worry, I’ll remember to knock from now on,” he replied, turning away to give us privacy.
“What do you want?” I asked.
“The elders want to see you. It’s urgent,” he replied. Nick nodded, saying, “Okay, wait outside. I’ll be there soon.” The messenger left, and Nick kissed my cheek, whispering in my ear, “He’s waiting outside. Can we have a quick moment together? I’m really aroused right now.”
I chuckled softly and replied, “You’re not serious, are you? Didn’t you hear what he said? The elders want to see you, and it’s crucial. Duty comes first.”
“But it can wait. Right now, you’re my priority, and I need to attend to you before anyone else,” he responded, kissing my neck and holding my waist.
I shook my head and gently pushed him away, saying, “I’m serious. You need to address them first. I’ll be here waiting for you.”
He pouted playfully, “This isn’t fair, but I need you now more than ever.”
“I need you too, but the pack needs you most. We have the entire night to ourselves, remember?”
“You’re right. Okay, I’ll head out now. Be ready for me. I’ll be back,” he said, planting a final kiss on my lips before leaving the room.
Leah, my wolf form, spoke in my mind, “Why are you so worried?”
I sighed and replied, “How can I not be worried? During the Luna Celebration, I’ll have to shift into a wolf with the Alpha. I’m so nervous about it. What if I mess up?”
“Don’t worry. Alpha Nicklaus will take care of us. He loves us as we are and will protect us,” Leah reassured.
“I know he does, but it’s not just about him. It’s also about the pack and the elders. What if they don’t accept us? What if they tell him to choose someone else?”
“You’re overthinking this. Just wait for him. Stop worrying and get some rest.”
“I will, but first, I want to check on our daughter before going to bed.”
“Sure thing.” I stepped out of the room and noticed someone leaving in an angry huff.
Walking to my daughter’s room, I found her sleeping peacefully.
