-JOANNE~
I opened my eyes to meet nothing but complete darkness. But my body was moving. I tried to breathe out a yielding sigh only to realize my mouth has been shut with a rough cloth.
I let out a muffle scream and tried to seat up.
My hands were tied in front of me but thankfully my legs were free.
I scuttled before sitting up and realizing I was in a black van.
I let out muffled screams that didn’t even stretch at any distant
The driver driving the van slightly turned to me and nodded.
“You’re awake.
“Who the fuck are you” my scream came out muffled but he understood me well and replied me quietly.
“Go back to sleep.”
I kicked his chair and he scoffed.
“A fierce one aren’t we?”
I wanted to scream but I couldn’t, instead I started to cry.
My eyes started to blink rapidly when I saw the thick ropes sitting beside me.
No!
History was indeed repeating itself.
“Where are you taking me!” My scream loosened the cloth around my mouth a bit and the man driving sighed.
“Just shut the fuck and let me do my job properly okay! The drug isn’t suppose to wear off until an hour later”
His job.
So he was paid to do this to me.
He started to mutter things under his breath that was annoying him.
I turned to my hands and tried every way of loosening the rubber rope around it.
Sometimes having small wrist can be a blessing, and a rubber rope?.
These people are unbelievably cheap.
“Who sent you?” I yelled, knowing he won’t tell me.
“Just shut the fuck up!” He yelled angrily.
Ophelia? The white Ale-0 house. They’re all connected.
But what had they feed me to cause me to fuckin pass out
I thought I was being careful, put all this while I was being careless.
I looked down at my tied hands and tried to release the rope around it, but it wasn’t working.
I look sideways, trying to breathe. I was panicking. I wanted to scream, but I couldn’t. My insides, felt like chilli, hot chilli to be precise.
After dying minutes of struggling with ropes around my wrist it finally came off and I just need to get off and threw to the floor.
I immediately had this crazy thought that I didn’t let linger, so I gently in quietly grabbed the thick ropes beside me and took off the rag around my mouth.
As the driver kept driving, I I got on my feet quietly and placed a rope around his neck. He immediately noticed the rope around his neck and tried to change his route.
What are you going to do?
Tell me who sent you this instant? I command it
He didn’t answer is that he pressed on the brakes, harder and continue driving taking a very rigid turn.
You’re going to get those killed! I yelled.
I launch forward and took over the steering wheel from behind. He got mad and nudged me with his elbow boats, my group was hard on the steering wheel that I didn’t even porch. I just filled the crucial pain that came from is hit.
I didn’t know where he was taking me, but I didn’t care. I just wanted to get out of the van because I had no one with me. I didn’t know who he was. I didn’t know what I hate at the party that causes me to pass out and found myself in a van getting read to be hanged.
My mind contemplated on so many things Ophelia walked for an hour, and Ophelia was the one behind My passing out, then did and sent Ophelia to do this to me?
Did all the woman at the white Ale-o house really behind Lisa ‘s death. Did they envy me so much that they were willing to go to the exact same length they went for Lisa ?
Tampering with the drivers ride, the brakes called lose, and the car went swiveling towards directions, and we found ourselves on the van, whirling off the main road, and tossing itself into a light stand and into a bush.
” fuck! The driver yelled as both our bodies and their car seats tossed into the left side of the vehicle and immediately I ducked as the vans glass window crashed into a tree branch.
The car stopped moving as it got buried into a muddy puddle. I immediately kicked the door open and dashed out of the van. The night was dark, and old, and a distant happiness from afar could be cared filling the air.
I didn’t know where I was I don’t know anywhere in the city. What are you doing? Stop me from running I will run towards the opposite direction. We were once headed.
As my leg fastened, I noticed the driver had walked out of the car to and was now chasing after me, and immediately my six sense hits, I started to scream for help.
Help me!
Somebody help me!
Because I wasn’t going to stick and watch someone wrap a rope around my neck just because they have something against Hardy. I was not going to die based on some contract accidentally signed. It was not my Time to die, and it was not the time for the baby inside my stomach to die too.
The place which seems like it would be usually busy. Please add convenience. Stores had many shops, many openings, but because of the parade happening at the center of the city everyone had to close early.
Lisa’s murder sure knew how to plan a murder Scene.
They chose the perfect day to kill a pregnant woman because the entire place was as quiet as ever.
I was tired of running, but I couldn’t stop. The man behind me was as fast as ever. He was almost keeping up with me. I was crying, wailing actually.
I didn’t know where Theodore and Hardy were, but I silently prayed that they would somehow notice that I was gone, but I wasn’t at the party, and I was running in screaming for my help.
The man sprinted after me, his legs pumping with relentless determination.
The distance between us was narrowing, his breath ragged in his throat as he closed in on his quarry.
Just as the I was seeming to gain ground, he lunged forward, managing to snag my arm in his vise-like grip.
I twisted and struggled, but his strength prevailed as he dragged me back into his grasp, triumphant in his chase.
My eyes widened in terror as i realized my escape was futile. I kicked and thrashed against the man’s unrelenting hold, my breaths coming in ragged gasps as i attempted to break free.
The man, grim-faced and merciless, held on tight, his fingers digging into my flesh with unyielding force. His face contorted in a twisted smile of victory as he began to drag me away, deeper into the darkening shadows.
As I pushed my way through, my dress ripped terribly and one of my shoes finally slipped out of my leg with its rope snapping apart. but my only concern was escaping.
I cried out loud.
Cried for the child in me. Cried for my dear life.
I didn’t want to be hanged.
I haven’t even lived yet.
I really didn’t want to die.
I screamed so loud it felt like heavens heard me.
“Fucking shut up!” The man yelled like a beast.
In the distance, the distinct wail of police sirens pierced the night air. The man’s triumphant expression faltered as the screeching sound grew louder, bringing with it a sense of impending danger.
I gasped to my surprise.
The man glanced over his shoulder, his muscles tensing as the blaring police cars drew closer, their flashing lights illuminating the dark alleyway. I instantly took advantage of his distraction, digging the only shoe on my leg- heel into the man’s foot with all my might, causing him to release his grip on me, just as the police reached us.
“Hands in the air and don’t move!” A thick voice took over the place.
With his body frozen. I opened my mouth and clamped my teeth again this hard skin around his neck.
He winced terribly and dropped me so hard my body collided with the bushes below.
I turned swiftly to the amount of cops pointing their guns at the man, and that’s when I saw Hardy rushing up to me like a knight in shining army coming to my rescue.
I didn’t know when I started crying. But I got on my feet and hurdled through the cold floors to get to him.
He immediately lifted me up the moment our bodies came into contact.
I cried like a child. Cried like baby.
Because suddenly in Hardy’s arm. All that had just happened didn’t feel any real.
