When Rosiley and Yayoi made it to the police station, they took just one glance to identify that familiar figure not far away from them.
Both of them looked at each other and smiled before hurrying over.
When they got closer, Rosiley shouted. “Xiaoxiao!”
“Huh?”
Hearing the voice, the woman named Xiaoxiao immediately turned her head. Her arrogant expression disappeared instantly.
She was surprised to see Rosiley and Yayoi hurrying toward her. Her elegant figure immediately flew at them. “Rosiley, Yayoi, you guys are finally here! I’ve missed you guys so much!”
“We missed you too.”
Rosiley smiled and hugged her. Her face was colored with the joy of reunion.
When it was Yayoi’s turn, she pouted and scowled. “Your way of returning home is so special; being brought to the police station? Which dude has no eyes and dared to try and snatch you?”
“That one. He didn’t open his eyes.”
Xiaoxiao pointed with her long and thin finger. The one being pointed at was the chief. His face, which showed his ripe old age, twitched suddenly. He felt immensely embarrassed.
“What is going on exactly?”
Rosiley laughed and shook her head. She returned her focus back to Xiaoxiao.
Hearing this, Xiaoxiao’s brows straightened immediately and she said angrily, “This afternoon when I was at the airport, I ran into a pervert who tried to take advantage of me. I was so angry and we ended up in a fight. Then some dude in the crowd tried to be a busybody and called the police. That’s how I ended up here.”
“This…”
Rosiley’s lips trembled slightly. She felt like laughing.
Off to the side, Yayoi coughed frantically, using all her might to suppress her urge to laugh.
Xiaoxiao could not help glancing at them. There was some annoyance in her gaze.
Seeing this, Rosiley quickly composed herself and asked out of concern, “Where is that pervert? Did he do anything to you?”
“Huh, he’s right there!”
Xiaoxiao turned around and glared harshly.
Rosiley and Yayoi followed her gaze and looked over. Then, a slightly helpless face entered their vision.
Rosiley froze on the spot. “Corey?”
Yayoi’s face was lifeless. “He’s the pervert?”
“That’s him! Why? You guys know him?”
Xiaoxiao blinked and looked at the two in confusion.
Rosiley nodded and looked at Corey with a slightly playful look.
