Mia
The bind evaporated from the bodies of the dark wizard shortly after he left. I couldn’t help but think that he was a coward for escaping before he freed them.
He should have freed them before he left and waited to see if they wouldn’t be tearing him to pieces. I imagined him fighting them on the night of a full moon and wondered if he would be able to control them and survive the attack after cursing them for losing their sanity and humanity when they shifted into wolves. I doubted that he would get near them when he knew what he had done.
He only wanted to cause grief to Albert and turn the boys into prisoners with their nature. He would probably lift the curse when he wanted to get rid of them or fight them when the moon wasn’t full.
I doubted that the cure he had mentioned was the only one. I didn’t want to be ripped into pieces by the same boys I wanted to save. I was amused that I was perfectly comfortable with addressing myself as their mate. I had indeed accepted my fate even though I was finding it hard to fall in love with them.
I saw the flare of the wolves’ noses and I didn’t have to guess to know that they were angry. Their bodies began to shift and I saw them turn to humans.
I averted my eyes and didn’t know why. I didn’t want to see them naked.
“Are you shy?” Jack teased. I knew he was angry but trying to dispel the tension in the air.
I heard a growl rumbling in Quinn’s throat and I knew that he was mad at himself for getting trapped by the dark wizard.
I sighed, knowing I had a lot to do. I couldn’t have them feeling dejected. Then that meant that we had lost the battle even before we started it.
“Are you naked?” I hadn’t seen them fully shift into wolves before except in my nightmares and I didn’t know what to expect. I had watched some movies where the wolves were completely naked after shifting and some weren’t. I didn’t know which type they were and I didn’t want to get myself in an uncomfortable situation.
“Afraid to look?” Jack teased. “What are you afraid of, Mia? You would have to see us naked one day.”
“I don’t appreciate the reminder.”
“I’m not naked. We are not. You can look at us.”
I shouldn’t have trusted him. I gasped as I turned around and saw them fully naked in their glorious male forms. Unconsciously, my eyes shifted down their bodies and I blushed as I saw their penises. It was rock-hard and full. I swallowed, and licked my lips as I tried hard to look back up, though I couldn’t look at them in the face.
Jack was a bad boy.
“Why did you lie?” I scowled at him.
“Do you like the view? I was only trying to get you prepped up.”
“Don’t be ridiculous.” I snorted and bent down, picking up my bag and the box that had tumbled off my hands.
I wondered how long it had been since I had seen the snake and the boys had fought with it. It felt like centuries ago. I exhaled and my hands suddenly started to shake.
I straightened up and started to move forward. “Let’s go to my house. I’m sure there are some of my dad’s clothes that would fit you.”
I was grateful that the pathway was lonely. It would be awkward being seen with three agile naked men. I would have a long hard time explaining why I was with them.
We got home and I directed them to dad’s old room.
“It’s that room. The room might be a little dusty, I’m sorry about that.”
“I’m more worried about the styles of the clothes I’m about to wear.”
“My dad was a fashionable person.” I bristled with annoyance at his defense.
“Right?” Jack arched his eyebrows.
“Don’t bother if you don’t want to wear his clothes.” I hissed.
Damn, he was annoying. How was I to fall in love with that?
“Really?” He grinned. “Are you sure about that? Do you think you can stand me being naked?”
I swallowed. He was an asshole, a naughty, teasing son of a … I let the thought trail off. I didn’t dare to call Albert a bastard and wouldn’t insult the memory of his mother by calling her a bitch.
“Please wear some clothes. Find the ones that are up to your taste there. I’m sure there would be.” I pleaded, wincing as I forced the words out.
He laughed. “I didn’t think there ever would come a day that our sister would plead with me to do something. I was expecting you to yell at me or call my bluff.”
“Stop teasing her, Jack. Let’s get dressed.” Quinn said and pushed him inside as he opened the door.
John walked in after Quinn and Jack. “We will be outside soon, Mia.” He said to me and then shut the door.
I nodded and went to the kitchen to make some tea. I remembered the day Quinn was here and had made me tea. I shrugged off the memory and cautioned myself. I shouldn’t lose myself. I wasn’t about to get swayed and get swept off my feet by the three of them. Even if I did sleep with them, it wasn’t going to break their curse because the moon wasn’t full tonight.
I made the tea and sat down on a chair as I waited for them. I poured myself some tea and sipped, thinking of all that had happened this night.
The boys came out and I couldn’t help the laugh that burst out of my lips. The hot tea scalded my tongue and I winced as I placed the cup on the table. They realized what had happened and started laughing at me as well.
“Well?” Jack asked.
“I’m glad you found something to wear.”
“They are tight.” John grimaced.
“Better that than going back home naked and explaining to Albert how you lost your clothes.” I said.
He was right though. The clothes were tight on them. My dad wasn’t a tiny man but they made it look as if he was one with how snug his clothes were on them. I could see the way their muscles were ripped and bulged under the clothes. They were built, fit and goddamn alluring. I wanted to feel the hardness of their ribs in my hands and was only stopping myself from doing that by reminding myself of how embarrassed I would be afterwards.
I was sure the boys would like it if I did that and wouldn’t make me feel embarrassed. Even at that, I couldn’t.
Jack snorted, pulling me out of my indecent thoughts. “As if dad wouldn’t wonder why we look this way.”
“Then we have to get into our rooms as soon as we get home.” Quinn said. “This is better as she had said. We would give the maids a scare if we walk in naked.”
“Have some tea.” I pointed at the tea.
We were all silent as we sipped some tea. The way the boys looked at me scared me and I knew what they were thinking of. It was written all over Jack’s face even though the other two kept their thoughts to themselves. I knew they hoped that I would fall in love with them as soon as I could and break the curse before they had to become evil wolves.
I hadn’t been in love with anyone before and it wasn’t as easy as they felt. It was a huge leap to fall for the three of them at once. I felt like a slut and a cheat, even thinking about the idea. The only thing that made it bearable was that the three of them were a party to the idea.
I felt pressured with the way they gazed at me but I tried hard to ignore it, remembering what John had said to me.
