Sharon walked out of the elevator in a good mood and looked up to see Tyrone standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows in the corridor.
Immediately, she felt sad.
“Does Mr. Theresa go to the wrong place?”
‘This isn’t Sandy’s office.’
“I’m waiting for you.” Tyrone turned around slowly and looked at her indifferently.
Sharon smiled and stepped forward, “Well, Mr. Theresa, are you trying to vent your anger on me for your little girlfriend again?”
“Can you stop talking like that all the time?”
‘He doesn’t like this tone.’
“Sorry, that’s what I am.” Sharon shrugged.
Tyrone’s thin lips pursed into a line. ‘Her attitude toward others is not like that toward him.
She is hostile to him.’
“Oh, do you feel bad because I helped Sandy?”
Sharon was puzzled.
What?
Tyrone seemed to see her through, “I know, the relationship between Sandy and you has never been good. You inevitably spite her because she took over your mother’s company.”
He approached her in a slow tone, “You should be tolerant. She didn’t complain about you for what you did to her six years ago.”
“Six years ago, what did I do to her?” Sharon met his eyes and smiled suddenly, “So Sandy is a victim in your eyes?”
Tyrone narrowed his eyes but didn’t speak.
Sharon restrained her smile and became indifferently, “Right, she always looks so pitiful like a victim in front of others, let alone you. My father feels distressed when he sees her.”
“Sharon…”
“Mr. Theresa.” Sharon interrupted him indifferently, “You don’t understand what I’ve been through, and you don’t have the right to accuse me. I don’t care what your sweetie had told you, but I want to say something with conscience. The victim six years ago was me.”
After finishing that, Sharon walked back to the office, barely waiting for Tyrone to say anything.
In the car.
Tyrone looked out the car window absent-mindedly as if thinking about what Sharon said.
He even didn’t hear John calling him a few times.
“Mr. Tyrone.” John called him louder.
Tyrone returned to his senses and rubbed his forehead, “What?”
John handed over the phone, “Master’s phone.”
Tyrone took the phone, “Dad.”
The Theresa Villa.
“Bad boy, do you have a kid outside?”
Mr. Theresa was drinking tea in the pavilion in the courtyard. The photos displayed on the tablet computer standing on the table were of two kids who look like his son.
Tyrone paused, frowning, “No.”
“No? What happened to the two kids who cooperated with N. T? They look exactly like you.”
Mr. Theresa put down the teacup heavily, “I want to see them.”
“Dad, I haven’t made love with any woman. They can’t be my kids.”
Even if he did, Sandy had been by his side for six years but never got pregnant.
“It doesn’t matter if you don’t care. I have sent someone to N. T to take them over. It’s up to you.”
Mr. Theresa ended the call.
Tyrone frowned and raised his head, “Go to the Theresa Villa.”
The car was heading towards the suburbs.
Along the way, the scenery was beautiful.
Ruth lay in the car window and looked at the scenery of the mountains and forests outside the window with a startled expression, “Mountains, water, so beautiful.”
Sean looked at the black bodyguard sitting next to him and asked, “Who wants to see us?”
The amiable old man sitting on the co-pilot looked back and smiled, “It’s our master. You will know later. Don’t worry. Our master is nice.”
“Sir, why do you live in the mountains?” Ruth asked with a wink.
The old man paused and smiled again, “The place we live is a land of idyllic beauty, not deep mountains and forests.”
The Theresa Villa is built in fertile land surrounded by mountains and waters. According to the geomantic omen, it was sitting on the mountain, facing the south, and leaning on the mountains and the water.
Soon the car came to a quaint town, which stunned Ruth because the house here was very beautiful. She had never seen before.
After driving for a while, the car stopped outside a courtyard.
The old man got out of the car and opened the door for them. After the two kids got out of the car, they looked at this beautiful big house, which was very novel to them.
In the courtyard, there were airy pavilions and pagodas.
In the verdant garden, the rockery was craggy, the corridors were staggered, and there was a pavilion next to a white jade stone bridge erected on the lotus pond.
The old man took the two kids to the pavilion through the bridge, “Master, I brought them here.”
Looking at the two kids brought by the housekeeper, Mr. Theresa was startled but soon smiled and waved to them, “Kids, come here.”
Sean and Ruth looked at each other, and both walked toward him.
Mr. Theresa looked at the two kids, especially the boy, and asked with a smile, “What’s your name?”
“Sean.” Sean replied.
Mr. Theresa nodded and looked at the little girl again, “How about you?”
“Grandpa, I’m Ruth.” Ruth blinked, as if there were splendid stars hidden in her eyes.
Mr. Theresa laughed and had them sit beside him, rubbing their little heads, “It’s amazing. You guys look really like my son.”
Ruth turned to look at him, “We also met a young manwho looked like us.”
“Oh?” Mr. Theresa was about to ask when he heard the bodyguard outside the courtyard greet, “Mr. Tyrone.”
Tyrone walked into the pavilion, looked at the two kids sitting beside Mr. Theresa, and said to him, “Dad, how can you take them over privately?”
“Why not? They look like you so much. I just invite them to come over as guests.”
Mr. Theresa touched Ruth’s head and gave them some sugar cakes, “Come on, this is the best sugar cake in our town. Try it.”
“Thank you, grandpa.”
Both of them took the sugar cake. Ruth couldn’t wait to nibble it as she took it.
Tyrone was a little helpless and didn’t expect his father to bring them over because of the photo.
“Kids, wait here first. I’ll be back soon.”
After Mr. Theresa finished speaking, he got up and said to Tyrone, “Come with me.”
After watching them go, Ruth turned to Sean and said, “This man is really our grandpa? He seems to like us very much.”
“Well, as long as he likes us, we can take Daddy home when we recognize Daddy.”
Ruth nodded.
