“I’ll protect you.”
Matthew Grant’s voice was in her ear, his nostrils flowing in the tickling warmth of her neck.
“It’s just that I’m becoming more and more dependent on you, and I don’t know if that’s a good thing.”
Blanca Roach tilted her face up to look at him, her brow flowing with deep affection as she cupped his handsome face in one hand.
The surface is thoughtful and soft, the point in her heart sprouts and branches.
As she spoke, her other hand probed Matthew Grant’s shirt, her hand reaching in to caress Matthew Grant’s firm pecs.
“Of course it’s a good thing, this shoulder will always be for you to lean on.”
Matthew Grant’s eyes flickered, and Blanca Roach titillated his heart, and he wanted to kiss again in the perfect atmosphere of ambiguity.
Blanca Roach’s face suddenly changed, faster than a few times the speed of a book, two hands to support Matthew Grant to prevent him from coming over, but not allowed to kiss.
“Don’t even think about it, I’m Blanca Roach and I’m a jealous woman!”
“I haven’t forgiven you for the revenge you caused me, and you scared me and bit me when you turned on the light, so tonight, you’ll sleep in the guest room.”
Blanca Roach held a grudge to settle all the accounts in one breath, it didn’t matter who was right and who was wrong, the main thing was to make up the number of bars.
Matthew Grant was dumbfounded. He had just been talking about a good deal, but how could he be separated all of a sudden?
“Madam sir, dinner is ready.”
The maid came at the right time, Blanca Roach did not give Matthew Grant a chance to react, smoothly broke free from the embrace and rolled out of bed, and ran away.
Matthew Grant sat up with a whoosh and grabbed his clothes from the side and went after her.
As for the reaction in his head he has not yet thought through what is wrong, but seeing Blanca Roach dressed thinly, his body has involuntarily moved.
The next day, dragged full of tired on time to start work, Blanca Roach to the studio, Winnie was also there.
She didn’t know how to start without Blanca Roach, but she was just sketching on paper.
“Good morning.” Winnie was still enthusiastic, only she fell away in a way that Blanca Roach remembered.
“Good morning.”
“Didn’t get much rest last night, did you?” Winnie was incredibly perceptive, and there was no telling where she saw it coming from.
Blanca Roach smiled stiffly, feeling no more secrets.
She really hadn’t slept well last night, and if Matthew Grant hadn’t snuck back from the guest room last night, she was sure the day would have started off with a bang …
Damn, Matthew Grant, the man has learned to be a cheater too.
And that’s not what Winnie was thinking, she thought Blanca Roach was having a strong pregnancy.
“Knock, knock.” Isabel came in.
“Isabel, good morning.”
“Good morning.” Isabel’s response to Winnie was dry and simple, and her eyes didn’t linger on her, looking directly at Blanca Roach and handing the document in her hand to Blanca Roach.
“President Roach, this is for you to read.”
Winnie froze for a moment, clearly sensing the back-and-forth in Isabel’s enthusiasm for her.
“Well, it’s quite good.” With Blanca Roach’s reply, Isabel took the file again and left the office.
And Winnie’s eyes always followed her.
“I think … Isabel seems to have changed.”
“Hmm? Changed? Where has it changed?”
It wasn’t Blanca Roach who was careless, it was Winnie who was so observant. Blanca Roach thought back to the state Isabel had been in just now.
It did seem wrong, she was the kind of girl who could make people feel warm, and just now, the heat was gone from her.
Was it because of the previous examination?
I can’t think of anything just by guessing, Blanca Roach decided to go to Isabel later and ask if something happened.
Either it was a deep blow or seeing the darkest side of the human heart, otherwise how can the light under a person’s eyes disappear within a few days.
