“Look, he’s coming out!” an eagle-eyed disciple exclaimed.
Everyone’s gaze instantly focused on the tower’s entrance.
The person walking out was Leo, holding a girl in his arms. Who else could it be but Violet?
“He actually came out of the tower unscathed.”
“And he’s carrying… Violet!” The disciples began to murmur.
“Damn it, Christian, that guy is holding Violet!” Akira’s face didn’t brighten at Violet’s appearance; instead, it grew even darker.
“Stop being jealous for no reason. Violet might have fainted inside the tower. It’s good enough that she came out safely,” Christian said in a deep voice.
“Fainted in the tower? For such a long time, could that guy have done something to Violet…” Akira deliberately left his sentence unfinished.
This made Christian’s face turn grim.
Violet was innocent and lively, widely recognized as the most beautiful girl in the family.
Christian and others had long harbored feelings for Violet.
Although they all bore the surname Coleman, their blood relations were quite distant. Some were even exceptionally talented orphans selected from the secular world and given the surname Coleman to be brought into the Coleman family.
While Akira and the others were seething with jealousy, Leo had already carried Violet outside the formation.
Donovan hurriedly approached and asked anxiously, “Leo, what happened to Violet?”
“Mr. Coleman, don’t worry. Violet is just a bit tired and has fallen asleep,” Leo replied with a smile.
“That’s good.” Donovan breathed a sigh of relief. He was extremely fond and protective of his precious daughter. “Thank you, Leo!”
As the head of the family, Donovan’s words implied a promise of favor to Leo.
“Mr. Coleman, there’s no need to be so polite.”
“Leo, you and Violet are of the same generation. If you don’t mind, call me Uncle Coleman, and I’ll call you Leo. How about that?”
Grateful for Leo’s help, Donovan wanted to strengthen his relationship with him.
Leo nodded. In terms of seniority, Donovan was indeed an elder.
Leo intended to hand Violet over to Donovan.
Donovan had already extended his hands.
However, Violet, who was sound asleep, snuggled closer into Leo’s arms like a kitten, tightening her grip on his collar.
Seeing this, Donovan’s outstretched hands paused mid-air, and an awkward expression crossed his face.
Christian and Akira’s faces also changed slightly as they looked at Leo with a newfound coldness in their eyes.
Seeing that the sleeping Violet didn’t want to leave his embrace, Leo blushed slightly.
“Ahem, Uncle Coleman, please take me to Violet’s room so I can put her to rest,” Leo said with a dry cough.
“Alright, sorry to trouble you, Leo.” Donovan retracted his hands and smiled.
At the same time, a meaningful look flashed in Donovan’s eyes.
He could see that his daughter was very dependent on this young man.
“Leo, follow me. I’ll take you to Violet’s room,” Meigetsu stepped forward and said.
Leo nodded and followed Meigetsu while carrying Violet.
“I must be blind not to have seen that he could actually enter our Azure Dragon Shrine and bring Violet out,” Frederick said with narrowed eyes before turning to leave.
Seeing that Violet had safely exited the tower, the murmuring disciples quickly dispersed.
Akira stared intently at Leo’s back, clenching his fists so tightly that his bones made cracking sounds.
To Akira, if Christian were with Violet and she liked him back, he could tolerate it because Christian was indeed much more talented than he was.
But Leo, an outsider, holding his goddess in public was something he couldn’t swallow.
As Christian watched Leo’s departing figure, he slowly drew the sword from his back.
The hilt was crafted from Fire Spirit Jade, intricately carved with patterns and inscribed with the words “Fire Spirit.”
“Anyone who can enter and exit the Azure Dragon Shrine must spar with me,” Christian declared firmly.
“I also want to see his strength,” Holden Coleman said with a smile.
Led by Meigetsu, Leo arrived at Violet’s residence.
The courtyard was filled with beautiful flowers and spiritual fruits, their fragrance permeating the air.
After placing Violet on her bed in her boudoir, Meigetsu covered her with a blanket before they both left the room.
“Leo, it’s getting late. Let me take you to the guest room to rest,” Meigetsu suggested.
“Alright, thank you, Meigetsu.”
Leo nodded and followed Meigetsu to the guest room.
Leo was indeed somewhat tired these past few days. After a comfortable hot bath, he lay down on the bed and fell into a deep sleep.
After a night’s rest and being in a place rich in spiritual energy like the Coleman family’s residence, he felt refreshed and invigorated.
After washing up and stepping outside, he saw a group of people approaching the courtyard.
Leading them were two people: a middle-aged man with a jade-like face and elegant demeanor and a lively young girl.
It was Donovan and Violet.
Behind them were seven or eight servants carrying food boxes.
“Girl, it’s just breakfast. Is this really necessary?” Donovan asked with a smile.
“Hehe, I don’t know what Leo likes to eat, so I prepared a bit of everything,” Violet giggled.
“In all these years, I’ve never seen you prepare such a lavish breakfast for me,” Donovan said with a wry smile.
This made Violet blush instantly.
“Leo has been very kind to me. Since he’s visiting our home, I must treat him well. Besides, it was Leo who brought me out of the tower yesterday,” Violet explained with a smile.
As they chatted, they walked into the courtyard of the guest room.
Upon seeing Leo, Violet couldn’t help but call out, “Leo!”
Leo smiled as he walked up to them. He first nodded at Violet and then greeted Donovan.
“Leo, I brought you some delicious breakfast,” Violet said cheerfully.
The servants stepped forward and opened the food boxes they were carrying, revealing an array of meticulously prepared dishes.
Entering the guest room, they set the table with food. The aroma made Leo’s mouth water.
The three of them sat around the table.
“Leo, although these dishes might not compare to your medicinal cuisine, they taste pretty good,” Violet said as she personally served Leo a bowl of steaming porridge.
Leo accepted it without hesitation.
He scooped a spoonful and tasted it; it was indeed delicious.
Just as Leo was enjoying his meal, a servant walked in.
She first bowed to Donovan and Violet before turning to Leo and saying, “Mr. Bloomer, you have a letter.”
“A letter?” Leo was taken aback.
