Mia’s POV
He trailed his kisses on my cheek, along my jawline and started kissing, licking and biting me. He nipped my neck and started exploring my body with his hands. He traced my waist and my back with his fingers while he explored my mouth hungrily.
”I beg you to please stop.” I heard the pleading voice of Alpha Ricardo in my head and deepened the kiss, despite it didn’t feel right to me.
Dickson’s hands slid down my back, pressing my body firmly against his, and then curved under my bottom and lifted me off the ground. Quickly, I instinctively wrapped my legs around his hips, then gasped into his mouth. As he walked, his body rubbed against my core with each step.
He kicked the door open with his left foot and walked me into the room while he kissed me possessively. ”Are you sure of this?” My wolf questioned, but I ignored her and allowed Dickson to continue kissing me.
He made me lie on the bed on my back and stood before me lustfully. With panting breath, I saw him unzip his pants and pull it down to his knees. Seeing him moving so fast, I decided it was best I stop it.
”I’m sorry, I can’t.” I apologized and left the bed. I noticed he was confused and worried.
He didn’t say a word, rather he pulled up his pants and zipped up while I watched him sit on the bed with an expressionless look on his face. ”Did I go too far?” He asked while holding my gaze, and I responded with a nod, ” I apologize for leading you on.” I apologized, while he heaved a deep sigh and stood to his feet.
I watched him take a few steps and stop a step away from him, giving me the opportunity to take a close look at his beautiful set of brown eyes, which I found intruding. ”I like you,” He muttered while holding my gaze. With confused eyebrows, I held his gaze but didn’t say a word because I knew he wasn’t done talking.
”Throughout my twenty-seven years on earth I have never had these kinds of feelings for any lady, the moment…” He wanted to speak, but I interrupted, ”You don’t have to say all these just to get into my pants because it won’t help.” I said and got a disapproving groan from him.
With a groan, he ran his fingers through his hair and turned his back to me. ”Do you have a boyfriend because I know you don’t have a mate.” He asked in a serious tone, while I rolled my eyes but didn’t give him a response.
An intense silence filled the entire room until I decided to speak. ”I need to go back. I believe my friends might be worried about me.” Without waiting for his response, I hurried to the door, pulled it open and went out of the room.
As I closed the door, I stole a glimpse of him and saw that he was still standing in the same position.
Quickly I walked through the hallway, left the building and arrived at the poolside. ”Here you are, where were you?” Sarah questioned while moving her gaze around like she was searching for someone. ”Oh my goddess, is that a hickey mark on your neck, so you were playing a dirty game,” She teased while staring at the right crook of my neck. ”Shit.” I groaned when I realized he left a mark on me.
”It’s not what you are thinking,” I grumbled and began walking away while she followed me behind, with an annoying grin on her face.
With a grunt, I walked to the bar, sat on the long stool while Sarah stood beside me. ”Tell me all that happened, I want to them hear all, don’t you dare keep anything away from me,” She warned while I scoffed and realized I could no longer hear Alpha Ricardo’s voice, which got me a bit curious and worried.
”Maybe you should ask him if he is okay,” My wolf suggested, but I disagreed. When he did his, he knew I was hurting and never asked if I was doing fine.
My wolf saw reasons with me and went silent.
”I’m waiting,” Sarah said with a frown, while I ignored her and notified the bartender to get me a shot of dry gin.
”I think he is coming over here,” Sarah whispered while looking behind me. ”Not again,” I grumbled, and took a long sip of my shot. ”Do you want me to leave?” she asked before he got to where we stood. ”No.” I responded through the mind link.
He stood beside me and signaled the bartender to get him a drink, while I hurriedly finished my drink and stood to my feet. ”Can I have a word with you?” he pleaded, but I refused by shaking my head.
”Can we leave now?” I asked Sarah, who didn’t give a response.
With a sigh, I left them at the bar and strolled to where Rachael was seated with Madison and a few friends. She stood on her feet when she saw me coming her way, and we moved over to a corner.
”Is something wrong?” She asked while staring at me with curious eyes, ”Is that…” She gasped while staring at the hickey mark on my neck. ”We didn’t go further than that.” I explained with a frustrated sigh, ”I need to leave.” I grumbled, and she went silent for a moment before speaking, ”You can leave with Sarah in my car, I’ll be passing the night here.” She announced, while I heaved a deep sigh and tucked my hair behind my ears.
”Are you sure you will be okay?” I asked, ”Of course.” She chuckled, ”Maddison and I have been dating for a year now, and this is not the first time I’m passing the night here.” She assured me and leaned to my left ear, ”I think I might lose my virginity tonight.” She whispered and moved away with a shy look on her face.
”Are you sure about this?” I asked, because Madison wasn’t her mate. ”Yes, I can’t keep waiting for a mate. Who knows, I might not be compatible with him. Just look at you and Alpha Ricardo, I know both of you can never be together,” She grumbled while I gulped and didn’t say a word.
”Hi girls.” Sarah announced her presence to us, ”We will leave without Rachael.” I told Sarah, and she hummed like she already knew.
”Is it happening today?” Sarah directed those words to Rachael, who nodded her head. ”Gosh, I can’t imagine, but make sure you use some protection.” Sarah spoke with so much excitement in her voice while I stood there and watched them giggling happily. Their lives have always been perfect and easygoing, unlike mine.
”Are you okay?” Sarah asked when she noticed I was silent. ”Nothing, I’m fine.” I assured them and struggled to draw g back the tears that threatened to fall on my cheek, but I failed.
”You are crying.” Rachael spoke worriedly and gave me a tight hug, ”We are so sorry.” She apologized while I nodded my head and sniffled deeply, ”I’m fine.” I assured them and released myself from her embrace.
I moved my gaze around and met eyes with Dickson, who had been staring at us for a long time. ”I need to leave,” I mumbled, and Sarah nodded her head.
She took the car keys from Rachael and we both said goodbye to Rachael and made our way out of the pool, while I avoided Dickson’s gaze.
Sarah and I went back into the house and I changed back into my dress. We left the house and got to Rachel’s car. Sarah unlocked the car, and we both entered. Just when Sarah was about to start the car, I heard a knock on my window, looked up and saw that it was Dickson.
”What is it this time?” My wolf grumbled while I ignored her and pulled down the window. He went silent for a moment, contemplating what to say, while I raised my eyebrows with a questioning look, waiting for him to break the silence.
”Can I see you tomorrow?” He pleaded, and I responded quickly, ”I’m sorry, I can’t.” I declined. ”Why?” He asked, hurt by my words, while I stared at him with furrowed eyebrows. When I first met him, I thought he was one of those tough guys, but within a few hours of knowing him, he was acting differently.
”I really need to have a talk with you,” He pleaded, while I remained silent and contemplated what to do. ”I don’t live in this town.” I argued, ”That won’t be a problem.” He muttered while I sighed heavily and nodded my head, ”I’ll meet with you, but where?” I asked, ”I’ll communicate with you.” He placed a kiss on my cheek and walked away.
”You are in trouble,” My wolf murmured as I pulled up the window while Sarah started the car. ”He likes you,” She announced to me while I scoffed and relaxed my head on the headrest of the seat. ”What will you do with those hickeys on your neck?” She asked as she drove off. ”Nothing.” I responded with a sigh and realized I was going to face alpha Ricardo’s wrath when I get home.
”Is the result out?” She asked, making me realize it was three days already. The result should be out, but alpha Ricardo has said nothing about it. ”I dunno.” I mumbled and shut my eyes.
So many things have been going on in my life, and I don’t think I will be able to take them all.
Sarah put on the radio and we both hummed to the music playing until she pulled up in front of the mansion’s gate.
”Do you want me to drive in?” She asked while I shook my head, ”That won’t be necessary, thanks for everything.” We gave each other a quick hug and I got out of the car. ”Call me if anything goes wrong,” She implored as I got out of the car.
I closed the door and watched her drive off before ringing the gate bell. Within a few seconds, the mansion’s gate opened wide for me to walk in.
As I walked inside the mansion, I saw Simone talking to a few guys, and immediately he saw me, he shook his head and signaled for the men to leave. ”Is everything okay?” I asked because the atmosphere was intense. ”Yes.” He responded coldly and walked away.
”Something doesn’t seem right,” My wolf whispered to me as I walked through the door that leads to the sitting room.
