“What Paddy, how is it Paddy again?”
Matthew Grant blew up, sitting on the sofa with his long hands circling his wife and children, his danger aura was strong.
“Blanca Roach, how did you promise me?”
“I didn’t promise you anything.”
Blanca Roach nudged Matthew Grant’s approach away with her elbow, disgusted.
She hadn’t forgotten that Matthew Grant had a woman in his arms.
What was that woman wearing?
Matthew Grant looked strangely at his estranged wife, “Blanca you are so unreasonable.”
“Dad… Dad…” Alice leaned over her mother’s shoulder.
Matthew Grant lifted his hand to touch his daughter, but Alice pushed against it.
The force was not heavy, but it broke Dad’s heart.
“No, yes!” The little one was adamant.
Matthew Grant’s hand trembled.
“Honey, you’ve misunderstood me.”
Matthew Grant wrenched Blanca Roach, who had her back turned, to her face and held her face so that she was forced to look at him.
“That Yvonne, she jumped on me herself, you just happened to see that scene.”
It seemed like a hundred mouths could not explain it, Yvonne jumped on him less than half a minute before Blanca Roach saw it.
“There’s no such thing as coincidence.”
Blanca Roach pouted and took the baby to her room, handing her over to the maid who was looking after her before she came out, still with a cold face.
Matthew Grant immediately went after her with a pleasing face, completely unlike the CEO who was as cold as a mountain in front of the others.
“Baby, if you had looked for two more seconds, you would have noticed that I had dumped her on the floor.”
“No eyes to see.”
Blanca Roach swished gamely up the stairs, remembering again the dream she’d had earlier about catching Matthew Grant and Yvonne in bed.
When she had just seen Matthew Grant holding Yvonne, she had fled because of that dream, and for a moment was almost confused between reality and dream.
She was afraid that Matthew Grant would abandon her like a clog next, just like in the dream.
“Really, if you don’t believe me, look at the surveillance, my study computer can pull it up too.”
Blanca Roach was heading in the direction of the bedroom and was just walking to the study door as she spoke.
Blanca Roach suddenly stopped in his tracks and Matthew Grant pointed to the study, looking like he wasn’t afraid to tune the monitor.
“You also promised me not to use Yvonne, why are we meeting again today? You’re a big liar, I don’t believe you anymore.”
“It’s the termination of the contract, to talk about the termination of the contract.”
“Hmph, what’s in her mind, don’t you know? How dare you see her.”
Blanca Roach puffed out her cheeks, no longer in anger, Matthew Grant was able to chase her all the way back from the office to explain to her, and from there it wasn’t angry.
She was just still disturbed by the dream, and her heart was pounding.
She has not been sleeping well lately, probably because of her pregnancy, plus it is too disturbing to have a husband like Matthew Grant who can provoke women everywhere.
Seeing his young daughter-in-law’s anger subsiding, Matthew Grant’s little temper came to a head, following Blanca’s example with a jealous face.
“This time it’s your turn, don’t you see? What’s there to see with Paddy?”
Blanca Roach continued to walk, saying as she went, for the following particular reason.
“If I hadn’t seen you just hugging Yvonne I would have refused, knowing that people are interested in them and still want to meet, I’m following your example.”
Blanca Roach understands that she didn’t want to lose a precious friendship the last time she saw Paddy, but she doesn’t need to see him so often.
Not to mention the fact that choosing to meet with Paddy just to be angry with Matthew Grant would be harmful to all three of them.
She has her own plans now.
