Chapter 39

Book:Hated By The Alpha Published:2024-7-4

“Secondly, you’re so selfish, all you think about is yourself!” Enissa continued angrily.
“Just because you discovered something special about yourself, you now think you’re better than everyone in the village, and you think just because the king asked you to marry his son, that makes you any more special?!!!” Enissa’s face was red as a tomato from anger.
Catherine took a step back from her little sister, she knew how crazy she gets when she’s angry but she’d never seen her like this, she seemed so bitter.
But, finally, Catherine came to understand why her sister was angry.
Today was supposed to be the day she went to the palace, to get herself prepared for her wedding which would be held tomorrow.
The Alpha king had paid them an unusual visit one year ago and had asked her mother to give her eldest daughter to his son, in exchange for their residency in his kingdom since they couldn’t meet up with their taxes.
Her mother had agreed because she didn’t want her children to be banished, they had nowhere to go, and with no father to help care for them, she didn’t want to subject them to hardship at such early ages in their lives.
But Catherine didn’t like the idea, even though she had reluctantly agreed. She’d never seen the Alpha king’s son before, but she heard rumors that he was a cold unfeeling man. She didn’t like him.
She had wanted to fall in love with someone charming and loving, someone she grew up with. But for the sake of her family, she had to accept the Alpha king’s offer.
Audrey could feel the jealousy emanating from Enissa, but she saw how calmly Catherine watched her, unaware of the evil feelings that were brooding inside her little sister.
Audrey was surprised to hear that Catherine had a king suitor, that memory was never downloaded to her brain.
“Hey, Nissa, I’m sorry, I know I shouldn’t forget this kind of thing, but, I did anyways, and I’m so sorry about that,” Catherine said calmly.
If her sister was this angry, she wondered what her mother would look like.
“Fine,” Enissa sighed.
“I thought you would be so selfish and let the king throw us out just because you didn’t love his son,”
“I would never! You and Mama are the only ones I have in my life, I would do anything for both of you,” Catherine slowly approached her sister.
“Anything?” Enissa asked mischievously.
“Yes, anything,” Catherine assured.
“Then… teach me how…”
“Except that, absolutely not that,” Catherine pinched Enissa’s cheek.
“But you said anything!” Enissa pouted.
“Come on, I don’t want people finding out about my magic; they might think it’s weird and might even kill us for bearing such powers, and…”
“And you don’t want it getting into the wrong hands, blah-blah-blah, yes, I know.” Enissa interrupted Catherine and finished for her.
“You know I love you, right?” Catherine sighed and hugged her sister snuggly.
“Maybe, just maybe, sometime in the future, I’ll teach everything I know, maybe even with a few more people, and we could have a community of our own, where we can be ourselves,” She kissed Enissa’s cheek and let her go.
“Fine,” Enissa sighed and nodded.
“Promise you won’t tell anyone about it, not even Mama,” Catherine asked.
“I promise,” Enissa replied.
“Thank you! Now let’s go get ready for a forced marriage!”
“Let’s do that!” Both sisters giggled.
Catherine bent over and picked up the blue dress from the floor, but she was unaware that a small book had fallen out from her dress.
“Let’s go,” Catherine folded the clothes in her hand and started to walk ahead of her sister.
“Catherine!” Enissa called as she picked the book up.
“What now? come on! Mama will have my head if we waste any more time,” Catherine replied without looking back.
“Oh, it’s nothing, I’m coming” Enissa quickly folded the book into her dress, adjusting it so it wouldn’t be noticed.
She smiled evilly as she followed Catherine behind.
Audrey was just wondering what could have been written in the book that made Enissa not want to return it when she suddenly felt a force draw her into a vortex.
She found herself inside the room, it wasn’t too small and it wasn’t so big, it was just, right.
A small bed was at the center and a small wardrobe was at the side with a dressing table beside it.
The door to the bedroom suddenly opened and two half-naked people who had their bodies gummed to each other tumbled into the room, not bothering to shut the door.
They kissed each other loudly and their hands roamed all over their body.
“Erik!” The young woman moaned.
“Let me put my cub inside you, Enissa,” Erik said hoarsely.
Audrey stood fixed in a place, the force was holding her body in a place like it knew she didn’t want to watch this scene, it was quite uncomfortable, watching people having sex.
“Not now, my love. After I’ve destroyed that bitch and your cousin, We will become the next Luna and Alpha, just do as I say and everything would be ours,” Enissa untangled herself from Erik and brought out a small book from her drawer, quickly flipping through the pages.
“What’s in this book? You always carry it on you,” Erik asked as he sat on the bed.
“It’s my sister’s, this is where she wrote all the spells she created, and today, I’m going to use it against her!” Enissa said maliciously.
“And I’ll have to get that amulet myself since you’ve failed to succeed in tearing it away from her neck!” Enissa accused.
“I’m sorry, my love, she’s always with her mate, the Alpha, I don’t have the opportunity to do anything to her” Erik explained.
“You’re just a loser,” Enissa frowned.
Again, Audrey was drawn back to the riverside. Something felt off about the place at that moment, like it was being surrounded by dark magic.
She heard a voice, Catherine’s voice? She looked in the direction of the voice that sounded from inside the orchid; her eyes widened like saucers.
How could this be? Catherine was naked on top of Erik, with her legs spread beside his hip, she rode his dick with so much pleasure, moaning now and then as Erik tweaked her nipples.
Erik held her slim waist, helping her slide in and out on his hard dick.
Audrey knew this had to be wrong, she grew impatient for this scene to unfold completely so she could understand what was really happening.
“Have you mind linked him?” She heard Catherine ask.
“Yes, he’ll be here any moment,” Erik said, They both laughed and kept on fucking.
“She’s so naive, I told her I wanted to ask for her forgiveness and she stupidly agreed.
She even went to the market to get me a reconciliation gift, how dumb. Oh yes! Erik, faster!” Catherine moaned.
“I’ll fucking put my cubs in you, Enissa!” Erik groaned loudly.
Audrey stood frozen as the reality dawned on her. Enissa was trying to set Catherine up.
After she had stolen her book and learned magic, she was using the knowledge the wrong way, just like Catherine had feared, no wonder she felt the dark force in the air.
Enissa was pretending to he Catherine so that when Catherine’s mate arrived, he’d be so bitter and maybe end up killing her. But she didn’t understand the whole deal, the real Catherine wasn’t here, was Enissa trying to get herself killed? Or had they planned to make her arrive before her mate?
Just then, a long growl filled the air, it sounded so angry and heartbroken.
“Fuck, he got here before her, she was supposed to be here by now! You were supposed to replace her with me before he came, what are we going to do?!”
“Fuck him! Go faster baby,” Erik said to Enissa, pleasure clouding his judgement.
Before Audrey could notice, a large dark wolf jumped over her head and landed in front of her.
The height of the wolf reached her waist, it was very huge and it was very angry.
It howled in pain as it saw the image in front of him, Enissa purposely turned her head and faced the wolf as she sensually moved her hip against Erik’s.
“Oh no! It’s your mate!” Erik said mockingly as he gently pushed Enissa off him and stood up, a smirk on his face.
He held Enissa’s hand and slowly walked out of the orchid, nearing where Audrey and the wolf stood.
He stood a good distance from the wolf and put Enissa behind him protectively.
“She chose me, Mikhail,” Erik said snidely.
Audrey wondered how this Mikhail would look as a human, his wolf was already so impressive.
The wolf slowly approached them in slow dangerous strides.
“Don’t come any closer, just accept it, I never loved you. I love him,” Enissa came out from behind Erik, blocking him from the approaching wolf.
“Enissa!” A voice was heard from the entrance, drawing everyone’s attention to it.
