Elder Redmond’s voice was grim and hoarse. He was truly in a difficult position; if Leo really came knocking, he wouldn’t be able to stop him.
“Arrogant!” Walter’s face twisted in a snarl. “Let him come to West Suburb Manor. Once he arrives, he won’t leave!”
After the initial shock, anger, and sorrow, Walter’s heart had settled into a cold calm, his old face dark and somber.
Walter’s words seemed to remind Elder Redmond of something. He slowly nodded.
West Suburb Manor housed several top families and had Atraria’s top-notch security, along with old monsters guarding Atraria.
“Walter, what do you plan to do next?” Elder Redmond asked, looking at Walter.
“Elder Redmond, although we can’t deal with that little brat right now, someone else can help us,” Walter said coldly.
“You mean…” Elder Redmond’s eyes flashed as he realized what Walter was getting at.
“True Martial Sect!” Walter named them. “As one of the top forces in the Cultivation Martial World, they have deep foundations. No matter how powerful that kid is, he can’t be a match for the thousand-year-old True Martial Sect.”
“Tomorrow, I will personally go to True Martial Sect.”
“Good, I’ll go with you,” Elder Redmond nodded heavily.
The next morning, warm sunlight spilled over the horizon.
In the small wooden house under Spirit Crocodile Cliff, Leo slowly opened his eyes.
A glint of light flashed in Leo’s eyes as the spirit stones around him had turned to powder.
His lower-tier Spirit Venerable cultivation level was fully consolidated.
Next, Leo had two tasks to accomplish.
The first was to enhance the power of Nine Abyss Suppresses Evil Peak.
Currently, his control over Nine Abyss Suppresses Evil Peak was still at the first stage of “gravity suppression,” which was ten times gravity over a range of twenty meters.
The first stage of gravity suppression had limited effect on Warrior King-level Martial Cultivators and needed to be improved.
The second task was to unseal the Bronze General trapped in the scroll.
Now that Leo had reached the lower-tier Spirit Venerable level, his divine sense had greatly strengthened. It shouldn’t take long to break the seal.
Without further ado, Leo summoned a pitch-black small mountain from his Void Storage Talisman, which floated before him.
The second stage of gravity suppression would subject objects within its range to twenty times gravity over a fifty-meter radius.
With Leo’s current cultivation level, achieving the second stage of gravity suppression wasn’t difficult.
Infusing spiritual energy into Nine Abyss Suppresses Evil Peak, black mysterious runes emerged from the mountain’s body.
At this moment, Nine Abyss Suppresses Evil Peak looked extraordinarily mysterious.
A layer of pitch-black mist spread from Nine Abyss Suppresses Evil Peak, enveloping everything within twenty meters.
Leo’s eyes gleamed as he changed the hand seals and channeled his spiritual energy to gradually expand the black mist.
As the black mist expanded, the gravity within it also increased.
An hour later, Leo exhaled deeply and smiled.
The black mist had expanded to a fifty-meter radius, and the gravity within had increased to twenty times normal.
After perfectly releasing the second stage of gravity suppression twice, Leo retracted Nine Abyss Suppresses Evil Peak.
Next was the bronze scroll. Summoning it from his Void Storage Talisman, Leo used his spiritual energy to slowly unfold the scroll.
As the bronze scroll unfurled, sharp sword intent and green light surged from it.
On the scroll, the Bronze General holding a sword was vividly depicted.
The Bronze General’s body was covered with strange black web-like patterns.
At the center of these patterns on the Bronze General’s abdomen was a large “Brand” character.
Upon closer inspection, one would notice cracks on the “Brand” character-evidence of Leo’s previous attempts to break the seal with his divine sense. Time to continue breaking the seal!
Leo closed his eyes as his divine sense surged and entered the Bronze General’s Divine Consciousness Brand space.
Simultaneously, Leo’s consciousness entered as well.
In the scroll space, atop an ancient altar, stood the three-meter-tall Bronze General, one hand gripping a long sword and the other holding a Map of Mountains and Rivers.
A fist-sized hole had already appeared on the “Brand” character on the Bronze General’s abdomen-drilled by Leo’s divine sense Spiral Wave earlier.
Once the “Brand” character shattered, the seal on the Bronze General’s Divine Consciousness Brand would disappear, and the chains binding him would break.
At that point, the Bronze General would become ownerless, and Leo could imprint his own Divine Consciousness Brand on him.
Leo formed hand seals and unleashed his divine sense Spiral Wave.
The Spiral Wave drilled into the “Brand” character, gradually enlarging the hole…
After a minute, the Spiral Wave dissipated. Leo gathered his divine sense again and repeated the process over and over.
Time flew by as the sun rose from Coleman and began to set…
The hole on the “Brand” character grew larger…
Finally, with a crisp crack, the “Brand” character on the Bronze General’s abdomen split open.
Just a bit more!
Another divine sense Spiral Wave!
With a shattering sound, the “Brand” character completely broke apart and disappeared. The chains binding the Bronze General shattered and vanished into thin air. The seal was finally broken!
Leo’s face lit up with joy.
Next, he needed to imprint his own Divine Consciousness Brand.
Leo changed his hand seals as his divine sense condensed into a miniature version of himself and entered the Bronze General’s body.
The Bronze General immediately emitted a bright starlight that then retracted back into him.
In the next moment, Leo’s consciousness returned to reality.
In the small wooden house, Leo opened his eyes.
Though he appeared tired, excitement dominated his expression.
On the bronze scroll, the black brand on the Bronze General’s abdomen had disappeared, replaced by Leo’s Divine Consciousness Brand.
“Come out!” Leo eagerly commanded with his mind.
A two-meter-tall bronze figure leaped out from the scroll and appeared before Leo.
The Bronze General from the painting materialized in reality, holding a sword that gleamed menacingly.
To Leo’s surprise, the Map of Mountains and Rivers in the Bronze General’s other hand was gone.
Leo quickly used his divine sense to search the bronze scroll but couldn’t find it either.
Though puzzled, now wasn’t the time to investigate. He first needed to activate the Bronze General with his own blood essence.
Leo flicked his hand, sending a drop of crimson blood into the Bronze General’s forehead.
Buzz!
As soon as the blood entered, the Bronze General’s long-closed eyes snapped open.
Sword energy surged through the small wooden house!
The Bronze General’s eyes were blue!
Those blue eyes held only coldness and ruthlessness.
