“And then I was smart enough to think of a way to escape.” Rosiley shrugged her shoulders. “Anyway, this woman is not an easy character. Back then, she ridiculed me in front of everyone. I will never forget that scene.”
“In the future, as long as I’m with you, I will never let anyone hurt you that way again.”
Sachin hugged her and patted her back gently.
He could only imagine how a young girl that had just stepped into the real world would panic and become flustered in such a situation where there were underlying rules to comply with.
Thankfully, she turned out fine!
It was fine if he did not know about it in the past, but now that he knew, how could he act as if nothing had happened?
“Thank you, Sachin. But I want to handle this myself. This grudge with Manni needs to be settled sooner or later. As for this photo, I don’t intend to release it now.”
Sachin let go of her and asked with a frown, “What is your plan?”
“Nothing much. After going back, I’m afraid that Rorey will be up to something again. Recently, there have been several celebrities helping her, including Ariella Ning and Manni. If she would stay still this time around, then nothing will happen. Otherwise, she should not blame me when I take extreme measures.”
Sachin sighed gently. “Sometimes I really wish that you wouldn’t be so strong-willed.”
Feeling pity for her, he caressed her cheeks.
As a top-tier character in the industry, Sachin was well-aware of the fact that it would be extremely difficult to find a footing in the industry if you did not manage to please everybody.
Over the past two years, Rosiley had overcome all of her challenges by herself. She had trodden on thin ice in order to achieve what she had today. The difficulties she faced needed no further explanation.
Rosiley started drawing circles on his big and warm palm lovingly. She smiled and said, “When you do what you love, how could you worry about hardships? If I wasn’t strong-willed, I might have fallen into the same trap over and over again.”
“That was before, but now, you have someone to rely on.”
“Haha. That’s exactly why I’m so fearless in all that I do.”
If it was in the past, Rosiley would usually choose to make concessions to avoid trouble.
But now that she had suffered such a great fall from Yunis’s obstacle, she understood one thing. Sometimes holding back would only cause others to think that you are easy to bully. Fighting back at the right time is the only way to make everyone fearful of you.
The current her was no longer so easily bullied!
since the shoot was already over, Rosiley and the rest had no reason to stay in City H. Hence, they planned to return to Benin the next day.
However, early the next morning, when Rosiley went to knock on Rorey’s door, she realized that Rorey had already checked out with her manager and her assistant and had caught an early flight back.
Obviously, Rorey had completely lost her patience as she was unable to take advantage of Rosiley throughout the entire trip.
Without Rorey and the rest, she had no qualms staying with Sachin. When she slowly returned back to Benin, it was already in the afternoon of the same day.
After leaving the airport, Sachin first sent Rosiley back to the office.
When Yayoi saw her, she plunged herself onto Rosiley without saying anything. “Rosiley, I didn’t see you for a few days and it feels like three seasons have passed. I missed you so much!”
Rosiley pushed her away and rubbed the goosebumps on her arm. She said with a scowl, “Stop being disgusting! You only want presents, right? There’s none!”
“Bummer.”
