Yunis didn’t speak and Rosiley did not want to waste time with him either. As she learned more about the man, she realized that it had been extremely foolish for her to fall in love with this man before.
The two looked at each other without any expression. Rosiley’s eyes were as cold as ice, and Yunis’s face was all gloomy.
After a while, Yunis opened his mouth. “Rosiley, I told you before, you will return to my side eventually.”
“Dream on!”
Rosiley scoffed loudly. She believed that the man had to be crazy to proclaim something so laughable.
Yunis did not care, merely looking at her quietly. He said lightly, “I am not dreaming. It is too soon to say. I will use everything I can to make you give in. If you don’t believe me, just wait and see.”
As he spoke, his eyes became more and more sinister.
Rosiley felt a chill run down her spine. For the first time, she discovered that the man in front of her was a little dangerous.
Even though that was the case, Rosiley did not want to appear soft in front of him. With a cold expression, she exclaimed, “Yunis, others may be afraid of you, but I am not. I want to know what will happen if Rorey heard what you said just now. Would she lose her mind and fight you head-on? After all, even I am a little scared of that woman going crazy.”
Yunis’s expression finally changed.
She knew that Rosiley was not lying. Rorey had always been extremely prideful, and completely possessive of him.
She had always seen Rosiley as her archrival. If she knew that he still loved Rosiley, no one knew what terrifying things she could do.
Seeing Yunis hesitate, Rosiley knew that her words took effect. She grunted involuntarily and left before he could respond.
After about half an hour, Rorey finally finished her makeup and left the dressing room.
She stood in front of Yunis, complaining with a dissatisfied look on her face, “Yunis, the shoot is about to start soon. However, these clothes are so ugly! I will look terrible on screen wearing this. Also, my image will be tarnished.”
Rorey was wearing sportswear with blue and white stripes, and a pair of pure-white shoes on her feet. Her sexy wavy hair was tied behind in a ponytail. Her makeup was extremely faint as well, and she dressed completely differently from how she usually did. She looked ordinary.
That was obviously not something that Rorey wanted.
She had a high expectation of herself, and judged herself to have an outstanding aura and looks comparable to the top celebrities of the industry. Hence, she believed that only high-end luxurious brands could fit her style.
Yunis comforted her gently. “Rorey, you have just made a comeback, and so it is impossible to have those high-end brands invite you now. Therefore, you should just endure it for now. When you are popular in the future, I shall find other brands for you. Then, you can choose from an array of luxurious overseas brands and cosmetic product brands.”
Rorey was obviously still unwilling. However, she didn’t rebut further since Yunis pampered her. She merely whined, “That is your promise to me. Don’t regret it.”
“Of course, go for your shoot. I will be watching you from here.”
Yunis agreed to almost all of Rorey’s requests and was nowhere as sinister as when he had spoken to Rosiley.
“Erm, I shall go. I will perform well.”
Rorey smiled to Yunis slightly before turning to leave.
However, when she left, she glanced at Rosiley, full of arrogance on her face as she showed off their intimacy.
Rosiley found the scene amusing.
That woman believed that Rosiley loved Yunis still. Hence, she showed off her victory at every single chance she got.
She did not know that Yunis had no place in Rosiley’s heart now. In Rosiley’s eyes, her actions were merely that of a dancing clown.
The shoot progressed smoothly. Other than taking photos, Rorey needed to do a video advertisement as well.
In the beginning, the photo shoot was successful. She merely needed to change a few sets of costumes and poses.
However, during her video shoot, she could not continue further.
Rorey was not professional enough. With little acting skills, she could not meet the director’s expectations for her expressions, actions, and reactions.
For half an hour, she had dozens of outtakes. In the end, the director lost his patience and angrily ordered for the others to rest first before doing the shoot later.
Rorey’s face was gloomy.
For her, such a situation was embarrassing, especially with Yunis and Rosiley around.
Rorey could not stand the thought of Rosiley laughing at her misery.
“I don’t want to shoot anymore!”
Rorey was affected and roared to Amy and Mei in a burst of emotions she could not control.
Amy passed her a bottle of water and tried to comfort her. “Rorey, calm down. We only need one more advertisement now. Endure it, and it will be over soon.”
Mei came forth to Zev Rorey, flattering her, “Rorey, you’ve already done so well. That director’s expectations are too high. Be calm and adjust your mindset. I believe that you can do even better and render them speechless.”
Rorey gritted her teeth as she stared into the distance at Rosiley, who was far away. She bit her lower lip and said, “Don’t let that bitch Rosiley laugh at me. Amy, think of a way to make trouble for her. She shouldn’t be enjoying when I am suffering.”
Amy was stunned for a while before she laughed evilly. “Don’t worry. I will handle it.”
