Matthew Grant remained cold and detached from the beginning to the end, not sharing a single glance with her.
He secretly took the hand of the person beside him into his palm, his tone tinged with concern.
“Did you get scared?”
“It’s okay.” Blanca Roach shook her head, glanced at Lucy, who was still in the doorway, and whispered, “Why don’t we go to our room first, Alice can’t do it alone.”
“Well, it’s all up to you.”
Saying that, Matthew Grant lowered his head and kissed her gently on the forehead, with a completely pampered and spoiled look.
The two held hands and walked to the next door, never thinking about the people still next to them.
Lucy was still sensible, but after seeing that kiss, the jealousy and hatred in her heart almost set her whole body on fire.
“Matthew Grant! What’s so great about this woman! She doesn’t deserve you at all!”
“You can’t say whether she’s worthy or not. Stay out of my life or you’ll end up worse than you can imagine.”
Lucy couldn’t listen to anything else now, her eyes were only on Matthew Grant and the woman who had interfered.
She curbed her smile and raised her voice.
“Who are you to say I don’t count, I’ve been so good to you, no one in the world has even been as good to you as I’ve been to you, Matthew Grant, if only I could be worthy of you! I …”
No sooner had she finished than the room next to her closed with a bang.
Lucy stared at the closed door next to her and clenched her hand until her nails dug into her flesh.
She shook her head and mumbled intermittently.
“Just you wait and see, only I can match you, only I can …”
Blanca Roach entered the room and went to check on the little person on the crib before sitting down on the bed with a sigh of relief.
For some reason, she always felt a little tingly.
This person was different from Shelly and Amelia, her fondness seemed strange, a little too frenzied.
Matthew Grant took a glass of water and handed it to her, sitting smoothly next to her with a low tone.
“That’s why I didn’t tell you, for fear of scaring you.”
“Her, this person.” Blanca Roach swallowed, her tone a little uncertain, “Is there something wrong with her mentally?”
“Her name is Lucy, she interviewed me before.”
“I already know this, I see her acting a little out of sorts now, so could she have been crazier than this before.”
Matthew Grant raised an eyebrow and looked down at her, wrapping her shoulders in his arms.
“Are you sure you want to hear it?”
“That’s for sure.” Blanca Roach played with the corner of her coat from her hand, her tone serious, “Anyway, I have to face this situation with you now, who knows what she’ll do.”
“She’s a journalist who has been crouching around with a camera to film me since the interview, trying to get into The Grant family’s mansion in any way she can, until she once hid directly in my bedroom before she was left abroad.”
“So scary.”
Blanca Roach’s eyes widened and she leaned into Matthew Grant’s arms, reaching out to clasp his hand.
“You’ve got more women than one.”
“Each other.” Matthew Grant pinned her down and ruffled the hair out of his face, “So does the lady.”
“No, now get down to business.”
Blanca Roach blinked, putting a hand between them and frowning slightly.
“What are you going to do with her? What if she harasses you again?”
“Just wait and wait for a moment.”
