“No need, I can do this. But I don’t know how long I’ll be gone for. I won’t be able to see you.”
Rosiley shook her head and looked up from his embrace. Her gaze was as pitiful as that of an abandoned cat. He could not help loving her.
When he heard this, his heart skipped a beat. His gaze became gentle. “Are you going to miss me?”
“Yes. I feel more at ease with you around.”
She nodded and wrapped her arms around his waist. She rubbed her head against his chest.
She seemed to be slowly getting used to having him around!
A small part of Sachin’s heart suddenly fell. He could not hold back the urge to lower his head and kiss her. “If you keep being like this, I really cannot hold myself back from wanting to devour you.”
Two days passed by in the blink of an eye. Bright and early in the morning, Rosiley pulled along her packed luggage, ready to meet Rorey at the airport.
Before leaving, Rosiley hugged Sachin with a heart that was unwilling to leave. “I’m going.”
“Okay, I’ll see you later.” Sachin pursed his lips slightly and smiled.
Rosiley did not pay much attention to what he said. After bidding him goodbye, she made her way to the airport.
About 40 minutes later, Rosiley found Rorey at the airport. That woman was dressed in a crazy-expensive Chanel one-piece and carrying a Hermes handbag. She also wore a pair of dramatic sunglasses.
Her manager and assistant were trailing behind her, helping to push her luggage. This whole scene was gaining more attention than a well-known celebrity would.
Seeing Rosiley coming, Rorey’s manager, Amy, quickly criticized her. “Rosiley, you really think you’re such a big shot. You’re here to tag along, yet you’re still late.”
“I didn’t ask you guys to wait, why are you anxious? You can go first, no big deal,” Rosiley twitched her lips and replied rudely.
Amy’s face fell. Just as she was about to flare up, Rorey stopped her. She stared at Rosiley and said, “Rosiley, don’t think I can’t teach you a lesson now that we’re outside. You’re supposed to put on a show with me for this commercial shoot, so you’d better listen to me. Otherwise, I’ll call the company to complain.”
“Listen to you?”
Rosiley looked at her from head to toe and sneered dismissively, “Rorey, you should also stop threatening me. I can put on act with you, but you’d better know your boundaries. Otherwise, if I quit halfway, it’ll do you no good.”
“Oh, really? Let’s find out.”
“Sure, let’s find out!” Rosiley said with a cold smile. She was too lazy to bother about her afterward and went to get her boarding pass right away.
Rorey glared at her from behind. She was so pissed that she could not move. “Amy, this b*tch is too outrageous! Make sure her trip is not so smooth-sailing.”
“Don’t worry, Rorey, I’ve already thought up many ideas. She’ll definitely have a memorable trip,” Amy said to her flatteringly. The smile on her face looked forced.
