The doctor pushed the glasses on the bridge of his nose and took a pen and wrote a few lines on the sheet.
“It’s normal for babies to have fever, your child should have caught a cold at night.”
“What about this? Do I need an IV?”
Rosanne Butler asked as she wrapped her cloak tighter around her body.
Get a drip …
The moment the word entered Blanca Roach’s ears, her heart sank and her hands tightened around Alice.
Her Alice is only so young, she has to let the needle into the skin to get an IV?
“Don’t worry.” Matthew Grant saw through her emotions, took her by the shoulders, looked up at the doctor, and asked again, “Do you need an IV?”
“The child is too young, we are usually not very supportive of IVs, don’t worry.”
The doctor finished the sheet in his hand and handed it to the other side of the table.
“I see that the child does not have any runny nose and other cold reactions, so it is better to focus on reducing the child’s fever first, I have prescribed some fever patches for physical cooling first, and then take medicine if it does not work.”
“Okay, I’ll go pay the bill.”
Rosanne Butler took the bill in her hand and turned around to exit the door of the clinic.
It was better to keep the three of them together as a family at this time; after all, they were still young and had to experience more.
“What should I do if the child’s fever doesn’t go away?”
“Then you need to go to the hospital for another examination and then an IV.”
“Oh … good.” Blanca Roach was a little soul-crushing and only nodded lightly, “Thank you then, doctor.”
Matthew Grant gave her shoulder a secret squeeze as a way to give her some comfort.
“We’ll go first and come back if we need anything.”
“Right, right, right.” The vice president stood aside with the medical records, “Come back when the child has something to do, I’ll take care of this side.”
“Hmm.”
Blanca Roach nodded, wrapped the small person in her arms tightly and stood up to walk outside.
Although Alice was fine for the time being, she felt guilty for making Alice so young and sick.
And she was not in the studio this time. She had very little time to spend with Alice, and it was so hard to get things over with and have Alice get sick.
Rosanne Butler paid for her medication and just two steps away she saw the young couple getting off the elevator with their baby in their arms.
“What did the doctor say?”
“Mom.” Blanca Roach looked at the sleeping little person and said softly, “Let’s go back and watch first, and come back if something happens.”
“That’s fine, I’ll give you the medicine, I’ll go home first, you two watch.”
“Thanks Mom, I’ll take the medicine.”
Matthew Grant took the medicine and escorted the two out of the hospital.
The scene fell completely on Shelly’s eyes, and she didn’t come around the corner until Rosanne Butler had also left.
It was a rare day for her to come to the hospital and run into so many people.
It looked like Blanca Roach was carrying that baby of hers, and she happened to be here for the baby.
She came to get the pregnancy test report. Fortunately, she was not pregnant with Jim Grant’s child, so it proved that the sky is the limit and Matthew Grant will be hers sooner or later.
Shelly threw the pregnancy test in her hand into the trash and stared in the direction Blanca Roach had left, thinking.
What were Blanca Roach and Matthew Grant doing at the hospital with the baby in their arms? Could something have happened to the baby?
She sneered, took out her cell phone and dialed a number out.
“Hello, hello, this is Shelly, check something for me.”
