She was indeed a talent that she had high expectations for. How could Rorey compare to her?
Because of the last-minute decision to go on a business trip, Rosiley went home early at night. She wanted to cook a healthy and sumptuous dinner for Sachin.
At about 7 p. m., Sachin entered the house. Hearing the sound coming from the kitchen, he went in to take a look.
Rosiley was cutting meat, and on the stove beside her, a pot of soup was boiling. She got anxious and accidentally cut her finger. Blood came gushing out.
She shrieked in shock. Before she could place it under running water, a big hand grabbed her hand and pulled it toward the tap.
“You’re back?”
Rosiley put on a sweet smile as she pursed her lips at the man.
Sachin glanced at her and quickly turned off the stove. He then pulled her into the living room, fetched the first-aid kit, sat down beside her, and started dressing her wound.
Her long fingers were white and tender. They were well-defined and they felt smooth and silky. Judging from her fingers, one could directly tell that she did not have to do household chores. However, she now had a wound on her finger.
Sachin’s heart ached. He ordered her dominantly, “Next time, don’t you dare step into the kitchen. Just order someone to do the cooking.”
“It’s fine, it’s just a small cut, you don’t have to be so nervous.”
Rosiley laughed dismissively. Although she grew up in a wealthy family, she was not spoiled. She basically did everything herself.
Besides, she once said that she wanted to pass as a wife. It was the norm for a wife to cook for her husband.
Sachin dressed her wound carefully. He stretched out his arm and carefully pulled her onto his lap. “When I say no, it means no. You have to listen, otherwise, the consequences will be serious.”
Rosiley smiled in a daze. “What are the consequences? Do you want me to give myself to you in return?”
Sachin squinted his eyes. “Your whole person belongs to me; that’s just a matter of time. But if you want to bring it forward, I don’t mind.”
Rosiley’s cheeks started burning and turned to take on an alluring shade of red. She frantically switched the topic. “Then what about dinner? I’m only halfway through, besides… I’m hungry.”
She patted her flat stomach and it grumbled. It seemed like she was really hungry.
Sachin thought about it. He shifted her aside and stood up. He rolled his sleeves and said, “Let me do it.”
Sachin saw her embarrassment and chuckled a burst of low laughter uncontrollably. He then started walking toward the kitchen.
After a while, Rosiley could not resist the aroma coming from the kitchen and she walked in.
