Chapter 1226 : As out of a withdrawal

Book:Mr Grant, Please Be Gentle Published:2024-5-29

Two o’clock in the afternoon, the outskirts of the city.
Matthew Grant appeared at the arena on time with his lawyer and walked in with a cold face and raised his legs.
Without asking anyone at all, he headed straight upstairs.
The receptionist took one look at this man’s dress and knew he was definitely not an ordinary person, but also so handsome, full of nobility, throwing those a fresh meat several streets.
She was a little hesitant, but still went forward and stopped the two.
“Excuse me, this gentleman, do you have an appointment?”
Matthew Grant raised his eyebrows and stared at her in a cold voice.
“Call your manager and tell him the president of Empire Group is looking for him to talk about a partnership.”
“Okay, good.”
The receptionist looked at the person in front of her and just felt like she was about to faint, her face red through and through.
Originally, she had only seen Matthew Grant’s photo in the newspaper or somewhere, but she didn’t expect him to be a hundred times more handsome in person than in the photo.
However, the tone of his voice made her feel like she knew him before.
“Hey, manager, the president of Empire Group wants to see you downstairs, says he wants to talk to you about cooperation.”
“Di, Empire Group, quickly say I’m not in, say I’m not in.”
The receptionist hung up the phone, full of doubts, and said softly, “Sorry, this gentleman, our manager is not in.”
Matthew Grant coldly scowled and walked straight up the stairs with someone in tow.
Just a back, you can see that this person comes with the aura and dominance.
The receptionist braced his face to look at this figure, full of fascination, but his mind instantly recalled the person named Blanca Roach this morning.
No, Matthew Grant and the Blanca Roach tone of voice is just like a withdrawal.
Shelly came out of the bathroom and saw the man walking towards her, so she retreated back into the bathroom.
Why would Matthew Grant come over?
Could it be that Blanca Roach, that little bitch, went to Matthew Grant and begged him for help?
She had come over to settle the bill with the manager, and she had found a chance to annoy Blanca Roach, and now Matthew Grant was coming over, which was most unlikely to work.
Shelly was so angry that she slammed her bag on the floor, her face grimacing.
She was not going to let that villain Blanca Roach get away with it!
The manager cleaned up the things on the table a little, took the car keys from the drawer, and hurried to the door.
He was also greedy for the reward offered by the man, otherwise he wouldn’t have risked offending Matthew Grant.
As soon as he opened the door, he saw the two men standing in the doorway.
Matthew Grant looked at him with cold eyes and a mocking tone.
“I thought you said you weren’t in, Manager Ryan, what does that mean?”
“No, President Grant,” Manager Ryan broke out in a cold sweat behind his back and changed his face to a flattering one, “I was not trying to go down to pick you up, who knew you would come up.”
“Oh? Really?”
Matthew Grant raised an eyebrow, unimpressed by his words, and sidled into the office.
Sitting straight down in the chair across from the desk, he tapped on the desk and said lightly.
“I’m sure Manager Ryan has already met my wife, and from what I hear, Manager Ryan doesn’t seem very polite.”
“How could it be, President Grant should have misunderstood.”
Manager Ryan gave a dry laugh and raised his hand to touch a cold sweat on his forehead, not daring to get too close to his desk.
“I am a manager of a small venue, how dare I be rude to your wife.”
“That’s odd.” Matthew Grant folded his legs casually for a moment, his eyes grew cold, his tone puzzled and sarcastic, “And who was it that was blatantly breaking the contract with my wife and justifiably kicking her out?”
“Manager Ryan, is that you?”
