She thought Andrie had no heart, but when he emerged limping from his room, she saw a doctor waiting for him. Andrie apparently called him to check his back. She didn’t protest anymore and simply followed the doctor’s instructions. She invited him into her room. She thought it would be better if no one saw her while the family doctor from Clasiso was examining her.
After a while, he shook his head gently. “You need to see a specialist. Looks like your fall was pretty bad.”
She raised an eyebrow at his words. “So I need to go to the hospital?”
The doctor nodded and packed up his things. “It’s not an emergency, but to be sure, you need to get checked to see if there’s a pinched nerve or a broken bone. I see bruising, but we shouldn’t be complacent, especially since you can’t sit straight.”
She widened her smile at the mention of needing to go to the hospital. It meant she had a chance to escape Clasiso’s clutches.
“Mmm…” She pretended to think. “Just tell Andrie that I need to get checked at the hospital. You’re the only one who can change his mind.”
The doctor chuckled. “Just talk to him nicely and he’ll agree to your request.”
“Really?” She smirked, with a hint of sarcasm. “That guy is insane,” she muttered.
She wasn’t sure if the doctor heard her or not, but he didn’t respond to her joke. Or was it a joke? She grimaced further.
Her hips and buttocks still hurt. Her clothes were still wet. That rude and crazy guy didn’t even prepare clothes for her. She thought about taking his clothes from the closet, but others might think something happened between them if she left the room wearing Andrie’s clothes. Hah. She couldn’t imagine what Clasiso’s reaction would be if he believed the rumors. The Marites gossip mill was in full swing.
“I’m leaving now, dear.”
But before the doctor could reach the door, it suddenly swung open and Andrie walked in. She exhaled sharply. She didn’t want to see that crazy man after what happened earlier. If she hadn’t been alert, she might have drowned by now.
“Doc,” greeted Andrie. He gestured to the doctor, as if they needed to talk.
Azora’s eyes sparkled briefly when Andrie glanced at her before he directed the doctor out of the room. The door closed, leaving her alone inside.
But she couldn’t move properly. She remained seated on the edge of the bed, unable to stand or lie down properly because her hips suddenly hurt. Hah. It hurt more than her monthly period.
Her face twisted in pain. That guy would definitely pay for this!
She reached for her hips with her hands and gently massaged them. She winced. It wasn’t effective, but she couldn’t think of any other way to alleviate the pain.
Andrie. Andrie. Andrie.
Her eyes narrowed further as she recalled his face. How long would he torment her?
The door opened and Andrie stepped in. She glared at him. Her fists clenched.
Andrie noticed the tension and grinned at her. “Relax,” he said and took a step closer to her.
She wanted to scratch that grinning face of his, but she couldn’t because her hips hurt whenever she moved.
“If you don’t want to regret it, leave,” she warned, her eyes still glaring.
Andrie laughed. “With that attitude, I won’t hesitate,” he said sarcastically.
Azora’s blood boiled even more, but she looked away and stayed silent. There was no point arguing with the crazy guy.
But she saw him approach from the corner of her eye. He raised his hand as if to touch her, but she quickly slapped his hand away before it could reach her. She glared at him.
“I just want to help ease your pain,” he said, his tone firm due to her defiance.
“Oh really?” she said sarcastically. “I doubt it,” she added in a stern voice.
Andrie sighed. “You can slap me again if I can’t help ease your pain.”
Her eyes narrowed at his words. “Why are you doing this?”
“Don’t ask and just let me.”
Because she wanted the pain to go away too, she allowed Andrie to touch her.
His arms wrapped around her waist and lifted her up. She gripped both of Andrie’s shoulders and gasped in pain as she suddenly stood up. Tears filled her eyes.
She slapped Andrie. “Shameless,” she whispered angrily.
He didn’t react or respond to her comment, and slowly he began to move her in a circular motion. Soon, her back was pressed against the man’s stomach and chest. Azora raised her eyebrows. What was he doing?
Suddenly, she felt a weight on her back as Andrie pushed her face down onto the soft bed. She gasped in surprise. Her face buried into the soft bed and she couldn’t understand why her hips didn’t hurt when he pushed her.
“What are you doing?” she asked in a flustered tone.
She heard his deep breath as he pressed against her. Even though her back didn’t hurt from his weight, she still felt uncomfortable and suddenly nervous about his actions.
The weight on her upper back disappeared, focusing now on the side of her thigh. She furrowed her brow. It seemed like Andrie was trying to sit on the back of her thigh.
“H-Hey!” she called out.
She heard his faint chuckle. “It doesn’t seem painful,” he remarked. “Are you pretending to be in pain to gain my sympathy?” Andrie asked.
Her eyes narrowed. Did he think she was pretending to be in pain to get his sympathy? Hah!
She chuckled. “Me? Seeking your sympathy? In your dreams!”
“Mmm… so behave and let me do it.”
She bit her lip. Even if she denied it or admitted it, she couldn’t escape. Irritation welled up inside her. She didn’t like when things were out of her control. Just like her situation inside that mansion.
She stopped thinking when she felt Andrie’s hand moving from her thigh up to her back. He brushed her wet hair to the side.
“What are you doing? Answer me!” she panicked again.
What was he planning to do to her?
“Relax. You’re skinny. You can’t bear my child.”
She pressed her lips together at his words. She felt insulted but didn’t show it. She wasn’t really skinny back then, but ever since she escaped and ended up in Alcantara, she lost her appetite. Add the stress of staying in that mansion for a few days. She was really losing weight.
Suddenly, she felt something warm and soft on her back. She tried to look at what was touching her back but all she could see out of the corner of her eye was Andrie’s hair.
Moments later, she felt Andrie kissing her back. She gasped and clenched her fist. A warmth suddenly engulfed her being.
Her teeth clenched again. “A-Andrie,” she said, but instead of an angry tone, a weak, whispered tone escaped her lips.
She bit her lower lip with embarrassment.
Andrie’s two hands moved from her back to her hips. It still didn’t stop kissing her skin.
Until… He suddenly pushed his hips down on the soft bed. She heard the sound of bones moving with the movement. She released a screaming shout.
Andrie quickly removed his lips from her back and sat up straight. His hands remained on her hips while her body was still shaking from what had just happened.
Seconds later, Andrie quickly left her and walked towards the door.
He slammed the door shut.
