The sales clerk took the packed necklace to the counter and delivered it to Blanca Roach with a smile.
“Mrs. Grant, your necklace.”
“Hmm.”
Blanca Roach took the wrapped box into her hand and handed it to Amelia, looking up at her with a hint of apology inside her tone.
“You can take this, it’s not a handout, it’s a blessing.”
“Thanks.” Amelia squeezed out a smile, took the box and hung it on her arm, glanced outside, and asked tentatively, “Who was that person just now?”
“She’s just a jumped-up clown.”
Isabel glared out the door in exasperation and took Amelia’s arm to comfort her.
Blanca Roach did not retort, after all, today’s matter is also considered her own personal matter involved in Amelia, she is also innocent of vilification.
The three of them sat in the VIP section of the store and drank tea with Blanca Roach’s face, so they could finally take a break.
Amelia looked out of the window and squinted. I don’t know if she was thinking too much, but she always felt that the man just now was not simply looking for a fight with Blanca Roach, but had another hidden agenda.
Maybe she could even use her for something.
Blanca Roach took a sip of tea when the phone on the table lit up and a call came in.
“Blanca, where are you? I’ll come up to you.”
“No, I’ll go down, we’re done shopping.”
Blanca Roach hung up the phone and looked up at Isabel and Amelia, “I’m going to go first, do you want to shop again?”
“No, I’m too tired.” Isabel swung and finished her cup of tea in one gulp, picked up her bag and prepared to get up, “I’ll come with you, Amelia, what about you?”
“We’re together.”
Amelia couldn’t wait to go down with Blanca Roach so that she could get close to Matthew Grant and try to make an impression on him.
But Blanca Roach’s gift of the necklace was so obvious that she couldn’t be too forward.
When the three of them left the mall, they saw a woman tangling with Matthew Grant from a distance, and only when they got closer did they realize it was Shelly.
Isabel furrowed her brow and took a few steps closer, her tone exasperated.
“Shelly, after picking on us, you’re now pestering President Grant, are you that thick-skinned?”
“Who said that!” Shelly glanced at Matthew Grant next to her, with a heartfelt look in her eyes, and raised her voice, “I haven’t even seen you guys just now!”
“How dare you do that!”
Isabel wanted to say something else, but was stopped by Blanca Roach pulling her arm, standing in front of herself.
“Miss Shelly, there is no you know very well, now please make way, I’m going to get into my husband’s car.”
With that, Blanca Roach reached out and gestured, her eyes burning into her.
Shelly’s expression froze for a moment and she glared back at Blanca Roach, sneering as she stepped out of the way and stood sideways.
Matthew Grant’s eyes grew cold as he glanced at Shelly and took Blanca Roach’s shoulder directly to the car.
The whole time Amelia did not say anything, quietly observing from the side, lips slightly raised, a trace of calculation flashed under the eyes.
This Shelly might really be of use.
“Amelia are you leaving now?” Isabel took a look at the ill-faced Shelly, her tone all became impatient, and directly took stopped a cab, “I’m going back to the studio now.”
“I still want to buy some things, you go first.”
“Okay then, I’ll go first.”
Amelia smiled as she watched Isabel leave and waved her hand a few times, but her body stood still.
