Chapter 1181 : How do you compensate

Book:Mr Grant, Please Be Gentle Published:2024-5-29

Paddy sat where he was, saw Blanca Roach dragging the man back from afar, narrowed his eyes for a moment, hiding all his emotions, the corners of his mouth curved in a gentle arc.
“Blanca, you haven’t been clear with me.”
“I didn’t have time to say it earlier.” Blanca Roach took Matthew Grant’s arm and spoke with a smile, “This is my husband, Matthew Grant.”
“Mr. Grant, how do you do?”
Paddy held out his hand to Matthew Grant without moving, with great decorum.
Matthew Grant followed his hand and shook it, raising his eyes to stare at him, a sneer on his lips and a threatening look in his eyes.
The two men let go immediately after the handshake, and Blanca Roach stood to one side always feeling that something was different, that there was a smell of gunpowder between the two.
She gave a laugh and took the lead in breaking the silence, “Brother Paddy, I’ve told you everything, so do you have any situation?”
Paddy shook his head, gave Blanca Roach a deep look, and spoke slowly.
“Not yet, been busy with the company, not much time.”
Matthew Grant side stepped a little, blocked Blanca Roach behind, tone light, “President Paddy is really young and talented, I did not expect to get married yet, your family is not in a hurry?”
“No rush, a good one is always worth waiting for.”
Paddy’s also intentionally or unintentionally glanced at Blanca Roach, eyes with deep meaning.
Matthew Grant sneered and swept Blanca Roach into his arms in a dignified manner, and with a scowl, beckoned a waiter to place a glass of wine on the table.
“President Paddy can take his time, we’ll go ahead and pick up the kids.”
Paddy’s movement stiffened for a moment, then nodded his head for a moment, gestured with Blanca Roach and watched her leave the sight.
The curve of his mouth dropped, tilting his head and taking a sip of wine, looking light.
What he sees will always get, he can afford to wait, before it was the prestige status, now it is Blanca Roach.
Shelly stood in the corner and watched Paddy, with a hint of calculation in her eyes.
Blanca Roach was swept up by Matthew Grant the entire way to the car, not failing to attract ogling glances along the way until she was released in the car.
“Matthew Grant, what are you doing?”
“Going home, picking up the kids.”
Matthew Grant’s tone was unkind, leaning back in the driver’s seat, half of his face hidden in the darkness, his whole being radiating a chill.
“And you’re angry?” Blanca Roach spoke carefully, fingers tugging at his cuffs, “I told you, he’s just a brother I knew when I was a kid.”
“A childhood friend?”
Matthew Grant leaned over and pressed Blanca Roach into the passenger seat, looked down at her and said coldly, “You think of him as a brother, but he may not think of you as a sister.”
Blanca Roach blinked and laughed out loud.
“Don’t worry, Paddy’s brother knows I’m married to you and the mother of a child, he won’t think otherwise.”
“Not necessarily!”
Matthew Grant retorted coldly, looking at Blanca Roach’s slightly red and swollen lips from that kiss just now, he narrowed his eyes, the color of his eyes deepening.
“Then how are you going to make it up to me today?”
“Make up? What compensation?”
Blanca Roach frowned and stared at Matthew Grant with suspicion in her eyes, seeing the desire in his eyes, her hand instantly clenched the corner of her coat, her voice softened, “Not in the car, right? There are a lot of people around.”
Matthew Grant ignored her words, fingers traced her collarbone, was about to go down when but suddenly withdrew his hand and got up, sat back in the driver’s seat, a face that nothing had happened, whispered.
“It’s okay not to compensate now, let’s talk slowly at home.”
