Author’s POV
“I don’t know what are you talking about”
Bella shrugged and walked out of the Library without wasting time.
“Weird as fuck!”
Dom groaned.
Grace ignored both of them and grabbed the book from shelf.
“I said don’t touch it…”
Dom walked towards her to snatch the book.
Grace quickly stepped back hid it behind her back.
“I won’t give it back until and unless you tell me why…”
Dom grabbed her hand and twisted it behind her back, Grace gasped when he slammed her against the shelf.
“Don’t test my patience…”
His face was close to hers.
Grace gulped when he hovered over her dominatingly.
“Why?”
She mumbled.
“Why does it matter so much?”
He looked at her silently.
Dom could smell her alluring scent and it was pushing him towards the edge.
Whenever he is in close proximity with Grace, he feels comfortable. Like he knows this feeling. It’s not strange and alerting. It’s familiar and safe.
He forcefully pulled away from her and went back to his desk.
Grace looked at him with a sigh and sat on the sofa quietly.
Dom grabbed the book and started reading it like she didn’t question him.
“Did you talk to my Brother?”
Grace broke the silence.
Dom clutched on the book and clenched his jaw.
“I am not looking after that… Talk to Alex.”
He replied without even glancing at her.
Grace rolled her eyes and opened the book.
She looked at the first page where she saw reading date, just like she has a habit to write dates on the pages.
She went further and found dry Rose petal after third chapter. She looked at it and noticed faint ink on it.
“Dom_”
She couldn’t recognise the words after that.
But she understood that someone’s name was written with Dom.
She looked at Dom who was lost in his book, like no one exists around him. He was completely focused.
“Were you dating someone?”
Grace asked and Dom slowly lifted his head up and looked at her.
“I don’t know!”
He replied looking at her suspiciously.
“Why?”
Grace shrugged.
“This book has Rose petals and your name is on it…”
“Every book in this Shelf has Rose in it and half of the books has my name with heart… You think i don’t know this…”
Dom said unsuprised.
“And you don’t know who did it?”
Grace asked confused.
He closed his book and placed on the desk.
“Why are you so curious about my life?”
He gave his all attention to her.
“It’s just a basic question… Nothing big!”
She shrugged.
“Not like i am asking you some business secret or something”
“Why should I tell you, you are my enemy”
Dom stated.
“Correction!… My brother is your enemy!”
She gave him mocking smile.
“If i kill your brother… Will you say the same thing?”
He smirked when her mocking smile fell.
“I love my brother and if you dared to hurt him then I’ll kill you… Mirror reaction!”
She answered.
“That’s why i can’t tell you anything but still if you are curious, we can play a game”
He suggested.
“A game?”
She raised eyebrows.
“Yes! Question for question…”
He said.
Grace looked at him suspiciously but she wants to know things about him, for some reason this man has grabbed her attention.
There was no harm to answer simple questions so she nodded in agreement.
“I’ll start…”
Dom cleared his throat.
“Where did you complete your education?”
Grace frowned at his not so expected question. Why is he interested in her education?
“In Russia Probably”
She answered.
“Probably?… You don’t know?”
Dom raised his eyebrows.
“Only one question at a time.”
Grace flashed mocking smile.
“Have you ever loved someone?”
“No!… As long as i remember.”
He answered and Grace smirked knowing that he is engaged and still he doesn’t love anyone. She has no idea why but she felt good.
“Answer my question”
Dom demanded.
“Because i don’t remember!”
Grace answered and Dom frowned.
“Why do you have no idea about this shelf when it’s your library?”
“Because i don’t remember?”
Dom answered.
“Why you don’t remember?”
He asked.
Grace went silent for a second.
“Because I can’t recollect…”
She replied.
“Same question for you!”
“I was out of the country for five years… When i came back, it was already here…”
Dom lied.
“And no one is ready to answer why it’s here… Why you can’t recollect?”
Grace nodded in agreement.
“May be they are playing prank on you… May be your finance..”
“Why you can’t recollect Grace?”
Dom ignored her assumptions.
“Because i can’t…”
Grace answered.
“How many women you have slept with?”
“No personal questions”
Dom shook his head.
“May be you are forgetting that we are asking personal questions!”
Grace smirked.
“Question for question!”
“I didn’t count”
Dom sighed.
“How many men you have slept with?”
He asked.
“Asking a woman this question is not so gentleman kind…”
She looked at him.
“I don’t give a fuck… I am sure you have heard about the Equality!”
He mocked.
“I don’t know!”
She leaned back on the sofa.
“I don’t remember being with any man…”
“Why you don’t know?”
Dom asked again.
“We are not going further until and unless you answer this question.”
“Because I have lost my memory!”
Grace huffed.
“I don’t remember anything… Nothing!”
She shrugged.
“Not even single second till last year… And that’s why i said that you can’t get any insights from me because I don’t know anything…”
Dom frowned.
“Till last year?”
“Yeah! I got into accident last year and lost my memory…”
She answered.
Dom looked at her like he is in deep thoughts.
“You don’t remember!”
He wonder why both of them are in the same boat.
He tossed the book on the desk and stormed out of the library without saying anything.
“Weird as fuck!”
Grace scawled.
She was about to close the book but one letter slide down from the book.
Grace looked at the letter confused and picked it up.
Grace felt guilty for reading someone else’s letter but that didn’t stop her, she opened the letter and started reading it.

Grace closed the letter and placed it back in the book.
“Bunny?”
She mumbled confused.
