Author’s POV
Dom closed his eyes and let his senses run unleashed to imagine a woman.
“Tell me, how does she look?”
Alex asked.
“Black hair, long and shiny”
He replied.
“Fair skin and chubby cheeks…”
Alex’s eyebrows raised when he started describing Grace.
“Small pink lips…”
Dominick scrunched his eyebrows together when wave of pain rouse in his head.
His eyes snapped open.
“fuck!”
He grabbed his head.
“Okay leave it… Leave it… Relax!”
Alex tried to calm him down.
“Chubby cheeks! Really man?…”
Dom looked at Alex confused.
“I like slender woman, like Natasha but still i am not interested in her… It’s so fucked up.”
He rubbed his forehead.
“Are you hiding something from me, Alex?… Because i always feel that someone was staying in this room with me… There are so many things i don’t remember buying and fuck that, i am not even interested in those things. Why would I buy it?”
“Dom, Someone might have gifted you all this… Don’t think that much about it..”
Alex tried to act normal.
“I mumble weird things in sleep like there is someone with me.”
Dom said annoyed.
“Last night I was asking ‘are you cold’ i don’t know whom but i was asking…”
Alex closed his eyes sadly. He understands that Dom has forgotten Grace but his habits haven’t. He wants to tell him about Grace so badly but he can’t. Dominick was very critical even after waking up from the coma. He got serious brain injury and Grace was dead too. He couldn’t tell him about her. Doctors strictly warned him not to tell him anything which will affect his mental health and everyone knows that Grace’s dead will be the last stroke.
“I don’t know, ask yourself…”
Alex tried to ease the air.
“How would I know if you were staying with one of your fling.”
He shrugged.
“Or may be someone special is staying in your room, remember mother used to tell us stories. Did you check under the bed?”
“Funny?”
Dom scowled.
“Isn’t it?”
Alex said innocently.
“Shut up”
Dom playfully punched his chest.
“No Dom, seriously… Why have you became so disturbed. I understand that you don’t remember anything and it’s frustrating but you were not this much reckless.”
Alex asked.
“You can share anything with me, you know it.”
“I don’t know man, There is weird feeling in my heart that i am loosing something, something is missing… Everything is fine but still there is some emptyness and it’s making me restless… I don’t know but something is wrong and i also know that you are not telling me this… I’ll find out!”
Dominick challenged.
“If you think so”
Alex shrugged.
“What about Natasha?”
Dom rolled his eyes.
“I am not interested in her man… Why are you stuck on her.”
“Because I want you to see happy… You said you are feeling that emptyness. You need someone in your life who will love you… And after meeting Natasha i thought she will be good for you… She was sweet… She reminded me of someone who had same nature like her…”
Alex sighed.
“Grace!”
Dom said and Alex’s eyes snapped towards him.
“How do you know Grace?”
Alex asked shocked.
Dom shrugged.
“Last night you were talking about her…”
Alex sighed in relief.
“How did she died?”
Dom asked casually.
“Accident!”
He signed.
“Anyway, iIf you are not interested in Natasha then I’ll talk to her father. I don’t want to ruin your life… But this is not the thing i wanted to discuss with you.”
“Then what?”
Dom asked.
“Russians are getting active In our territory… We have to do something.”
Alex said.
“Did you try to talk to him… Some treaty or bullshit?”
Dom asked.
“Tried! Didn’t work. He is too arrogant and stubborn…”
Alex sighed.
“Then let’s make him listen”
Dom smirked.
“How?”
Alex frowned.
“Do you have any idea?”
“Yes! He has wife and sister… He loves both of them…”
Dom smirked.
“We can’t kill them… It will lead to the war”
Alex shook his head in strong disapproval.
“I am not talking about killing them…”
Dom assured.
“We will kidnap one of them and will call him for the treaty… It’s the only way.”
“I kidnapped his wife once…”
Alex replied, not that easy. She has strongest security and She doesn’t come out of the house often.
“Sister is it then?”
Dom said.
“I checked on her… She has strong security too but nothing we can’t break. She often attend meetings so she is easy target.”
“You did research?”
Alex asked impressed.
“Cool… Let’s kidnap his sister.”
“I’ll do it!”
Dom replied.
“Mika will go… You are not well”
Alex said, worried about his safety.
“I am bored… I’ll go with Mika…”
Dom replied.
“I can’t sit inside the house my whole life… I should come out now”
Alex looked at him worried but he was right, Dom have to come out.
“Fine! But be careful…”
Dom nodded.
“Don’t worry about me… Worry about his sister”
He smirked.
“Do me a favor and don’t kill her… We will need that girl.”
Alex said.
