Grace’s pov
I looked at him as his expressions turned tense while talking on the phone but he composed himself quickly.
It scares me, the way he hide his emotions is terrifying. But i am glad that he has started opening up.
I waited for few minutes but he didn’t end the call, he usually never talks on the phone this long. Looks like it’s something important.
I sighed and turned around, i never thought that my life will turn up like this. That My toxic husband will turn lovable and gentle, i will get a loving family, mother like Anamika and Massimo is cold but i can see that he cares about us. Sisters like Raan and Bella, specially Bella’s, she is crazy. Alex is like my brother now. When he first met me, he actually harrassed me and i never thought that i will call that man my brother.
It definitely took 360 degree turn.
I was scared that my pregnancy issues will create problems in my life but it was quite opposite. They love me even more after knowing this.
My real family abandoned me and the people whom world call monsters are giving me love. How tragic.
May be god heard my prayers. He finally decided to have mercy on me. Everything looks peaceful but why do i have a feeling that it’s a silence before the storm.
My life was never good and peaceful like this and now it is then it’s making me restless. May be because i am not used to it.
I looked at Dom, he is still on the call. He looked at me too and gestured me that he will be with me in five minutes.
Sky is looking beautiful today, it’s bright with stars and full moon. I can smell ocean and i love this cool breeze. And i love to stay in Dominick’s arms in weather like this. He made me realise what i was missing.
I accept that his love is little wild but now i have started loving it. And after whatever he said today, i am sure it will be better in future.
He is still not here so i might take a walk at the beach. I took off my heels and went towards the shore. I love the way waves makes sounds.
I walked on the wet sand and my satin gown clung to my body due to strong breeze.
I didn’t realise when i left the tent behind until i heard Dom’s loud voice.
“Grace!”
I turned around and saw him running towards me.
“What the hell are you doing here?”
He asked grabbing my arm.
He wasn’t angry it was more like concerned voice.
“You were busy so i thought i should take a walk..”
I replied and as usual My voice came out timid.
He closed his eyes and sighed.
“Grace, it’s dark out here and it’s not safe…”
He said.
“Don’t ever leave like this… Understand?”
I nodded.
“I wasn’t going to far…”
I mumbled.
“Why are you acting like i am a child?”
He shook his head and wrapped his hands around my waist to pull me closer.
“Because I am worried about you, bunny… Can’t loose my precious treasure.”
He kissed my nosetip.
I squealed when he picked me up in Bridal style.
“Dom?”
I looked at him.
“Hmm”
He was looking ahead.
“Who was on the call?”
I asked and his hands stiffened under my body.
“Why are you asking?”
He looked at me with frown.
“Because you looked tensed…”
I replied.
“I am not interested in your business but You looked bothered…”
He placed me on the bed and hovered over me.
“You care about me?”
He teased.
I blushed.
“You doubt?”
His nosetip brushed mine.
He chuckled.
“Because till now my bunny has just try to bite me and run away…”
I chuckled.
“I never bite you…”
“I should record you when you are drunk…”
He said amused.
“I am not that bad”
I defended myself. May be i am because last time i was drunk i was spilling all our bedroom Secrets in front of everyone, that’s what Bella told me.
Dominick looked into my eyes passionately.
“I want to ravish you but i won’t…”
He whispered.
“Why?”
I asked.
“Because tonight we will just talk.”
He said and rolled beside me.
“Are you really Dominick?”
I turned towards him while resting my head on my hand.
“Or you are Alex with lenses and Dominick is on some secret mission?… Because i refuse to believe that Dominick can say something like this…”
He smiled.
“That’s the thing, Bunny… I want to change things. Because i don’t want to be your nightmare, i want to be your love…”
He caressed my cheek.
“I want to show you that i don’t just love your body… I love your soul…”
I placed my hand on his chest.
“And you are succeeding in that…”
I placed my lips on his gently.

“So tell me Max… Why do you think that you are fit for this job…”
I asked the last candidate. Interviewing people is fun. It reminds me of the days i used to give interviews.
“Because ma’am i have three years of experience in this field and i assure you that i will be doing work with at most accuracy. It’s not just a job for me, it’s my dream and i am trying since last two years to get hired here…”
He said.
I smiled. Yes, It’s a reputed company. All because of Dominick’s hardwork.
Max will be suitable candidate for the job. We were looking for someone experienced and he has it. His academic marks are also impressive.
“Very well Max… I liked your confidence and I think you are suitable for the job.”
I said and he smiled.
“Thank you so much Grace…”
He shook his head.
“I am sorry ma’am… I mean ma’am…”
I frowned at his behaviour.
“Please don’t get angry… I called you by your name because of habit. Actually you don’t seem to remember me but we were in the same class… I was Osman’s friend…”
He explained.
“Ohh… Really?… Sorry i don’t remember you.”
I really don’t because i wasn’t really involved with boys.
“It’s fine… Actually we had never talk… But i know you because you were topper in the class…”
He smiled nervously.
“I am not surprised to see you in this position… Really!”
“Thank you Max… Actually I have a meeting now… But our HR will give you a call once we are done with the procedures… Okay?”
I said and shook hands with him.
“Thank you so much…”
He smiled.
“By the way, you are looking beautiful Grace… I mean__”
“No one cares what you mean!”
I almost flinched when I heard Dominick’s voice.
