Chapter 1292 Arrogance

The ice wall shattered into countless ice crystals, and the powerful explosion’s energy hit Vivian, causing her to feel short of breath and as if she had been heavily struck.
This guy seemed to possess all her abilities!
Brady chuckled softly and waved his left hand, sending a violent lightning bolt towards Knox.
Knox was prepared and also sent a violent lightning bolt towards Brady.
The two bolts of lightning met midway and merged into one.
In theory, the combined lightning should not have struck Knox, who had absolute control over electric energy.
But reality was cruel and absurd; Knox was hit by the lightning, letting out a painful groan as he was thrown backward.
In just a few moves, both the powerful Vivian and Knox had suffered.
Knox struggled to get up from the ground, his face filled with disbelief.
He knew very well that his control over electric energy was like controlling his own limbs, a part of his body. Now, a part of his body had caused him harm, which was simply incomprehensible.
Knox refused to believe it. He formed a circle with his hands in front of his abdomen and shouted, “Nine Thunders, Divine Punishment!”
A blinding electric energy ball appeared in Knox’s hands, like a small sun that no one dared to look at directly.
The terrifying sound of the current was like the eerie laughter of a demon from hell, making people shiver involuntarily.
Knox launched the electric energy ball into the night sky. It streaked across like a meteor and expanded high above, forming a huge and horrifying arc of electricity.
The arc locked onto Brady on the ground, sending one violent lightning bolt after another towards him.
One could clearly feel that each lightning bolt from the arc was more powerful than the last. How could a mortal body withstand such punishment?
After the first lightning bolt struck, Brady’s body was engulfed in terrifying electric light and explosive dust.
Leo compared silently; Knox’s ultimate skill was equivalent to a massive Thunder Talisman.
One thunderbolt after another struck where Brady stood, the deafening thunder echoing through the sky.
Fortunately, Rockefeller Estate was far from the city; otherwise, tomorrow’s news would likely be filled with stories about aliens again.
After the last thunderbolt fell, everything calmed down again. The cool night breeze gradually blew away the dust, revealing a huge pit where Brady had stood.
However, there was no sign of Brady in the pit, nor any of his remains.
Could Brady have been obliterated by the thunder?
Leo sensed it wouldn’t be that simple. Sure enough, Brady’s figure suddenly appeared from somewhere, standing intact opposite the three of them.
Knox widened his eyes in shock: “Impossible! My Nine Thunders clearly locked onto him. He couldn’t have escaped the thunder’s range. Did he withstand all nine thunders?”
Brady stretched his arms and moved his body, showing a bored expression: “So this is the so-called god of Thunder from WONDER.”
“You…” Knox’s face turned grim. As an Esper, he had never encountered such a situation before.
This was his ultimate skill, yet it seemed like mere scratching to the opponent.
It was devastating. Knox’s heart was breaking; what kind of monster was this Brady!?
Leo and Vivian were equally shocked, especially Leo. Because Esper and Cultivator abilities came from different sources, he couldn’t gauge or detect Brady’s power level at all.
Seeing the three of them tense and silent, Brady smiled charmingly: “Espers, are you scared now?”
“I remember there’s an old saying in Atraria: there is always someone bigger than you. From the moment you stepped into this estate, your fate was sealed-death!”
Arrogant people were common, but none as arrogant as this. Even Cardinal Cedric wasn’t this conceited.
Leo’s intuition told him that this guy’s power wasn’t inferior to Cedric’s.
The Dragonascent Art could only be used once. How could they defeat Brady now?
As Leo pondered a solution, Brady’s gaze fell on him with a provocative tone: “Kid, it’s your turn. What’s your ability?”
“Of course, if you think you can’t beat me, you can choose to kill yourself. It’s a more dignified way to die.”
Leo stepped forward and looked at Brady: “Do you know what usually happens to arrogant people?”
“What happens?”
“They die quickly!” Leo extended his right hand, and the Divine Dragon Sword appeared in it.
Seeing the ancient sword in Leo’s hand and feeling its unique aura, Brady’s pupils contracted slightly.
His intuition told him that this sword contained immense power.
Leo swung his right hand, sending a golden light cutting through the night sky.
Brady tensed up and punched out with his right hand. An arc of electricity met the golden light head-on.
After a not-so-violent explosion, both the golden light and the electric arc disappeared. The strong airwave felt like burning pain on their faces.
After this probing attack, Brady showed an interested expression: “It seems you’re stronger than your companions. Interesting.”
Leo remained silent. He planted the Divine Dragon Sword into the ground and took out a Talisman from his body, throwing it into the air. He then formed a seal with his right hand and directed it at the Talisman.
With a “bang,” the Talisman exploded into flames.
When the flames disappeared, a golden spear appeared, shining brightly in the night.
“Oh? What’s this ability?” Brady looked surprised.
A piece of yellow paper turned into a spear containing immense attack power. It was Brady’s first time seeing such a method, making him very curious.
Brady’s ability was to learn and copy, but this technique seemed… unlearnable.
Leo guided the golden spear with his left hand. It cut through the air with a whistle towards Brady.
Brady extended his right hand and rotated his five fingers clockwise. An ice spear appeared.
Brady decided to counter spear with spear.
Although made of ice, under Brady’s control, it was harder than any steel in the world.
In an instant, the two spears collided tip to tip. After a second of pause, the ice spear shattered.
