There was anger in Noelle’s voice, but it was a feeling of pain that dominated. She never thought there would be a day when she would be at odds with her own son. She wanted to avoid it, but she had no choice.
Noelle loved Amanda. After all, what mother-in-law didn’t love her daughter-in-law? In her eyes, Amanda was the perfect daughter-in-law. Amanda had no flaws, was educated, and always loved Bryan. Everything was perfect, and she thought her family would be happy forever.
Apparently not. Sadly, it was Bryan who ruined that happiness. So, could Noelle continue to trust everything she had to Bryan, who was even capable of cheating on his own wife?
Because business is not just business. There is a long history behind the company name of Sanders Group that has stood for many years. There is struggle, trust and the hopes of many people. Therefore, Noelle was lucky to have made the right decision. She tied Sanders Group to Bryan and Amanda’s marriage, gain everything or lose everything.
“I will never let your mistress enjoy every drop of my husband’s sweat and tears,” Noelle said, shaking her head repeatedly. Mist began to appear in her eyes, but she persisted. “I do not want this girl to enjoy anything. They are cursed individuals without hearts.”
Bryan couldn’t say anything. In the midst of the onslaught of confusion and worry, he looked at Noelle with an expression of incomprehension. It was the first time in his life that he had ever seen Noelle angry with such intensity. Until now, Noelle had always avoided debates, and unleashing anger indiscriminately was not in her nature.
In fact, Noelle had reached her limit. She strengthened her heart to hear Amanda’s complaints all the time. She strengthened her heart to see Andreas and Vian deprived of love in their childhood. Should she strengthen her heart again when Vlora miscarried because of Jonas?
Noelle exploded, but she couldn’t do anything without Amanda’s help. So, she decided to convince Amanda. She wanted Amanda to divorce Bryan, and perhaps she was the only biological mother in the world who wanted to see her own son destroyed.
Unexpectedly, Amanda decided to file for divorce herself. Vlora’s suffering made her grieve for herself. If only she had acted earlier, maybe none of this would have happened. Maybe Vlora would be fine and her pregnancy would still be there. She felt guilty for the misfortune that had befallen Andreas’ family.
“Well, I hope you’ll clear up your affairs soon, Bryan. Your time is over and I don’t want to see your face again. You were too cruel and made my two daughters-in-law suffer.”
Two daughters-in-law? Noelle’s words sounded strange to Bryan’s ears.
“I will never forgive you.”
Noelle finished everything and left immediately. Her personal assistant and lawyer followed her, leaving Bryan and his secretary confused.
Bryan’s head felt full. Before he could even find out about Jonas and Progun’s situation, another unpleasant news appeared. And it was the one he had least expected.
How could Amanda want a divorce? Impossible!
Bryan decided to find out what had happened. He would contact Amanda and demand an explanation. He would do everything he could to stop the divorce. If necessary, he would plead and make promises as if he would change, just like before.
Everything would be fine, Bryan believed. As always, Amanda would surely give in. Amanda loved him so much that she would do anything for him. Even back then, Amanda didn’t care about everything and still begged him not to leave despite the ongoing affair.
That’s how much Amanda loved him. So calm down, Bryan. All this chaos would surely end and he wouldn’t lose anything.
Bryan picked up his phone. He wanted to call Amanda, but there was an incoming call from Lydia. He answered the call and Lydia’s sobbing was the first thing he heard.
“Bryan. Jonas, Bryan.”
In an instant, Bryan’s body froze.

There were many things that Andreas would be doing in the near future. These include a major evaluation, an internal meeting and a shareholder meeting. But he certainly won’t miss Jonas.
The call was connected. Andreas listened carefully to Frans’ explanation.
“I have gathered twenty-five lawyers to join the office case and also Mrs. Vlora.”
Andreas took a deep breath. He could feel the unease in Frans’s voice when he mentioned Vlora.
“Did you take her to Mom’s house?”
“Yes, sir.”
Andreas realized that he couldn’t leave Vlora alone in this situation. Vlora wasn’t in a good condition and he had to use the current momentum. So, he decided that Vlora would stay with Amanda. There, Vlora would be taken care of as best as possible, and he wouldn’t have to worry at all. And what about Bryan? He deliberately had his own plan.
“Don’t leave any evidence behind, Frans. I want him locked up for a long time.”
“Of course, sir. I will do my best.”
“One very important thing. Everything that has to do with Jonas must also have consequences.”
Speaking of retribution, Andreas clearly knew the rules of the game. He wouldn’t forget anything about what should be rewarded, whether it was good or bad. So, it wasn’t surprising to see someone cowering in fear in his apartment.
“Damn! Jonas is causing trouble, but why do I have to get involved?”
The cause of Alex’s fear were the police officers who came to his door. They had been ringing the bell for some time, but he wouldn’t open the door for anything.
Alex panted. He picked up his cell phone and immediately called Andreas. He waited for the call to connect with growing panic. Only when his call was answered did he feel a slight relief.
“Hello, Alex.”
Alex swallowed. He held the phone with both hands as if he was going to drop it. “Yo-you. What do you mean, Reas? Why are the police coming to my house?”
“Uh. I think to arrest you.”
Andreas’ casual answer made Alex’ eyes widen. “What do you mean? Why do you say that? Do you remember, Reas? I helped you. I gave you everything you needed. Damn you! Yo-you told me you always protect your people! Anyone who supports you! You protect your friends!”
“Ah! You’re right. I almost forgot.”
Alex hoped that Andreas would change his mind, although to be honest, Andreas’ tone indicated otherwise. His uneasy feeling intensified.
“I always protect my friends, but on second thought, you’re not my friend. In fact, you are the friend of Jonas, the friend of my enemy and …..”
Alex’s uneasy feeling became reality.
“…., the friend of my enemy, is clearly my enemy.”
The call was disconnected. Andreas ended it unilaterally. Alex growled in anger, unable to do anything.
“Andreas!”
