It was well past noon when Andreas opened his eyes. The sunlight struggled to find its way through the ventilation, successfully touching his eyelids and disturbing him.
Andreas groaned with a beaming face, perhaps from the brightness of the day or the lingering euphoria of their night of love. How delightful.
Another pleasant surprise awaited Andreas when he turned around. There was Vlora who lay in his embrace, her arms serving as a pillow, sleeping peacefully. Vlora seemed to be fast asleep, or perhaps she was just too exhausted.
Andreas’ smile widened. He took a deep breath and decided not to get up right away. Letting the time pass without doing anything seemed like a good idea; he wanted to enjoy the moment.
Time passed, and finally Andreas slowly backed away. He did so as quietly as possible so as not to disturb Vlora’s sleep.
Getting out of bed, Andreas was immediately greeted by the sight of her scattered clothes on the floor. He grinned as he picked them up and then made his way to the bathroom.
The cold water cascaded over Andreas’ body. The masculine scented foam enveloped him, washing away the lingering scent of their passionate night.
It had truly been a fantastic night. An amazing night. A night beyond Andreas’ wildest imagination.
Let’s take a moment to look back. It’s not without reason that Andreas would call last night a passionate night. It’s not just the fiery love he and Vlora shared. No, it’s not just that.
The family dinner Andreas had organized was the perfect prelude to everything. The conversations, the anticipation and the underlying anxiety mixed together and created a pleasant tension.
Adrenaline surged. Blood raced faster. Every nerve came alive and sparkled with a joyous flicker that Andreas had never felt before.
But it did not stop there. Just when Andreas thought the excitement was enough to quench his thirst, Vlora surprised him.
Honestly, what did Andreas expect? He never thought Vlora would do such a thing. They were already married in an unconventional way, with Andreas choosing Vlora as his bride. A seemingly expressionless woman who turned out to be a virgin. So, he never imagined that Vlora would surprise him in such a way.
The tension continued. The game was followed by sensual activities that really ignited the passion.
As a result, Andreas wondered. Was it the family dinner or his love for Vlora that made him feel so euphoric? After all, didn’t the family dinner create the sparks that later turned into a blazing fire between Andreas and Vlora? In other words, wasn’t it a very special foreplay?
Ah, yes. Behind the constant stream of water, Andreas smiled. Now that he thought about it, everything made sense. The tense family dinner was foreplay for their intense lovemaking.
This made Andreas believe for the umpteenth time that his decision to marry Vlora was the best thing he had ever done. It really was! He never imagined that a family tension could be useful to create a unique feeling in their intimate relationship.
What feeling? Oh, don’t even ask.
Just imagine. The typically disgusting atmosphere of tension had turned into a pleasurable moment.
Andreas was ready to bet. Only Vlora could do it.
A short time later, Andreas finished his shower and got dressed. It all took longer than expected. But to his surprise, Vlora was still fast asleep even after he had dressed.
Andreas could not help but smile when he looked at Vlora. Her position had not changed at all.
She seemed to be really exhausted.
Andreas decided not to wake Vlora, no matter what. Even if Vlora slept through the night, he would leave her alone. In his opinion, there was a good chance that Vlora would not get out of bed all day. She really needed rest.
So, Andreas would stay by her side. He had no plans for this Sunday. Perhaps the only thing he would do was to contact Desmon, the head butler, and have him bring food to her room.
Andreas reached for the phone on the nightstand. The call connected and his eyes were drawn to the phone’s screen.
Andreas’ forehead furrowed. His eyes narrowed. His expression became uncertain.
Something seemed different.
Was the position of the phone different? Andreas was not sure, but…
“Good day, sir.”
Desmon’s voice startled Andreas. He blinked and paused for a moment.
“Please prepare the food and bring it to the room.”
Andreas promptly hung up the phone. Now he turned his attention back to his phone, growing more and more insecure.
Standing still and taking a deep breath, Andreas picked up his phone. He stared at it for a moment before he looked at Vlora.
Did Vlora see my phone last night?
The question made Andreas check his phone immediately, but there was nothing unusual. Several notifications still filled the phone’s screen, which was enough of a sign that no one had accessed it.
Unfortunately, this was not enough to dispel Andreas’ unease. He could not be wrong in his memory, but…
Maybe it’s me who’s wrong. It’s possible that last night I…
No. It seemed highly unlikely.
Andreas looked back at Vlora. Peaceful and extremely calm, Vlora made him take a deep breath.
The other possibility felt just as unlikely. Andreas was not sure which made more sense. He was unsure.
Both possibilities that currently occupied Andreas’ mind seemed equally implausible. Unfortunately, this uncertainty was just as significant as the uncertainty that he might have made a mistake.
But no. Habits are hard to change. And even if they could be changed, it would take a long time.
So, Andreas hesitated, wondering which uncertainty was wrong. On the one hand, it felt a little strange if Vlora really had seen his phone. There was only one reason. For what purpose?
Andreas was not sure that Vlora was the kind of jealous woman who would monitor his communications. No, he was sure she was not like that.
Vlora was a self-confident woman. She knew her place and wouldn’t do something like that.
But on the other hand, he was also sure of one thing. That was with the screen down.
