“Manager, do you believe her accusation?”
Rosiley frowned as if she didn’t expect the complaint to be about work.
“I want to hear your explanation.”
Lina explained harshly with a cold expression.
Rosiley shook her head. “Everyone in our circles knows what kind of person Lin Cheng is. The people who attended the gathering yesterday were all his friends. When Lin Cheng requested me to accompany him for a night, I became infuriated and refuted him. I neither scolded nor humiliated him.”
Lina was not an ignorant woman and could guess what the situation was yesterday. Hence, her expression became calmer. “Regardless, this matter has caused a significant impact on the company. How do you plan to resolve it? Lin Cheng holds a special status with Tanghai behind him. He probably would not let you off so easily regarding this matter. Do you know what I mean?”
“Yes.”
Rosiley nodded, but her eyes showed her determination. “However, I will not apologize to that scumbag.”
Lina suddenly became silent. After a while, she spoke again. “I heard that Mr. Lu of the REG wants you in his company?”
“Yes, he did mention that.”
“Xiao Tang, I admire your working competence, so I won’t stop you from going to REG if that’s your wish. Being acknowledged by Sachin shows your unlimited potential. If you work there, Lin Cheng won’t be able to bother you.”
Lina’s words stunned Rosiley, as her eyes opened wide in bewilderment.
She didn’t expect Lina to consider her future.
Rosiley was a little touched, and she smiled. “Manager, I don’t want to leave TEG for now. Even though the REG gave me a good offer, I know that my abilities might not be the right fit for that position. As for this project, I admit that it was my fault. I was unaware that this gathering would be consequential to the collaboration between our two companies. Hence, I will resolve this problem myself!”
“Oh? And how do you plan to go about doing that?”
Lina was a little astonished by Rosiley’s decision to reject the REG’s offer. Immediately, she smiled comfortingly.
“I remember that they dismissed our previous collaboration project with REG. If I could convince them to collaborate with us, can that offset the error I made?”
Rosiley knew that her lone efforts could not counter those of Lin Cheng and Tanghai Entertainment. Thus, she only had two choices before her; apologize or foster this collaborative project.
“If you can do it!”
Lina’s eyes shone as she seemed to appreciate Rosiley even more.
“I will try my best.”
After her meeting with Lina, Rosiley asked for the project information regarding the abandoned collaboration between Times Entertainment and REG before leaving.
Lonny looked at Rosiley with sympathy, as if she had already been fired.
However, the latter paid no attention to her. After returning to her seat, she continued with her busy work.
