When Blanca woke up, Matthew was watching over her.
There was worry and heartache in his eyes.
“What’s wrong with me?”
Feeling wet on her body, Blanca poked her head out from the blanket and realized that she looked like she had a sickness, and now her whole body was weak.
“You had a nightmare, how do you feel, are you okay?” Matthew didn’t bring up yesterday’s events, just reached out and probed Blanca’s forehead, relieved to make sure she had calmed down.
A lot of images flipped through her mind, and Blanca’s face froze violently as she remembered what happened last night.
But for a moment, it had returned to natural.
“It’s okay I’m fine, I should just be too tired so I had a nightmare, Matthew, you’re not going to the office today?”
“You look like this, how can I go?”
“I’m fine, you go to the office quickly. Otherwise, Curtis will say that you’ve misjudged your beauty again.” Blanca tilted her head and pouted, as if she was pouting.
Matthew hooked his lips helplessly, “Beauty?”
‘Yes, although I am so beautiful, but can not affect your work, right? Well, it’s almost eleven o’clock, so go to work.”
Blanca glanced at the wall clock, knowing that Matthew was very busy, especially after accompanying himself on a trip to his hometown, things must have piled up.
Although she trusted Matthew’s ability, Blanca didn’t want to keep delaying Matthew’s work all the time because of herself.
“Is it really okay?”
Matthew told Blanca a few words and asked Mrs. Brown to keep an eye on her before he left.
After Matthew left, Blanca’s smile froze at the corner of her mouth.
It was as if a tornado was whistling in her head, as if it was going to rip her whole body apart, and Blanca hugged her head and buried it in her knees.
The child … baby …
If it wasn’t for Barbara, she could have given birth to the baby herself. If not for that accident, I’m afraid the baby would have been born already, right?
“No, don’t take my baby away …”
Blanca wailed out, the corners of her eyes were red, and her nails had sunk deep into her hands.
Her chest felt like something was gripping herself so hard that she couldn’t catch her breath.
I don’t know how long this suffocation lasted, but Blanca finally looked like a dying fish and started breathing heavily.
For a long time, her body seemed to be drenched with sweat.
Blanca lifted her head and reopened her eyes, with what looked like crystal tears hanging from her eyelashes.
She knew that she was falling back into the state she was in at that time. When the child left
Blanca came downstairs when Mrs. Brown was on the phone downstairs and was startled to see her, “Young lady why are you out, you are resting in your room, you are …”
“I have something to go out for a trip.” Blanca raised a bright smile, “Mrs. Brown, you busy you do not need to care about me.”
“But the young master has instructed …”
“Mrs. Brown, I’ll be fine, look at me, I’m alive and well.”
Blanca came down from the revolving staircase and gave Mrs. Brown a perfect smile.
“I’ve got an appointment with someone. I’ll go first.”
With that, Blanca was already out the door when Mrs. Brown wasn’t looking.
This time she did not let Goss drive, but casually took a cab.
