Gawain’s body trembled uncontrollably, and Joseph began to bleed. The three vampire artifacts clashed with the three Holy Power auras.
The sky turned half bright and half dark, with blood-red and white lightning intertwining. Some struck the ground, while others hit Vitre Castle.
Strangely, despite being struck by several bolts of lightning, Vitre Castle remained unmoved, as if protected by some mysterious force.
The three artifacts and the three auras were locked in a stalemate. Six knights sat cross-legged, Bibles on their laps, chanting solemnly and sacredly.
Deane and his companions were in a bad state. They hadn’t anticipated the combined attack of the six knights to be so powerful.
They had thought they could shatter the auras with one strike, but now they were in a deadlock, with more Holy Power continuously flowing into the auras.
The knights seemed capable of invoking the forces of heaven and earth. This couldn’t go on!
A sense of crisis arose in Deane’s heart. It seemed they had to pay a price.
The black-and-white sky began to spin. The blood-red and white lightning ceased, but the oppressive force increased rapidly.
If either side failed to withstand it, they would be torn apart by this power.
“Gawain, Joseph, we can’t hold back any longer. Original Blood Sacrifice!” Deane said gravely.
As soon as Deane spoke, the three of them transformed into three three-eyed crows and flew toward the Corrupted Manacle, Angel’s Spike, and Executioner’s Axe.
In the blink of an eye, the three crows merged into the three artifacts.
The artifacts’ black light surged, swallowing the three auras completely like darkness devouring light!
In the Infinite Sacred Realm, Cedric used his final move. A massive white cross pressed down on Leo, and heaven and earth began to converge.
If nothing unexpected happened, heaven and earth would merge completely, and the giant white cross would crush Leo into a pulp.
But something unexpected did happen. Thousands of golden rays erupted like magma, illuminating the entire sacred realm in dazzling gold.
After an ancient dragon’s roar, Leo disappeared, replaced by a five-clawed golden dragon that soared into the sky with earth-shattering power, charging at the descending white cross.
The final result was a scream. The giant white cross shattered, and the Infinite Sacred Realm plunged into eternal darkness.
When Leo opened his eyes, he found himself lying on the grass, feeling only slightly fatigued but no longer in pain.
The Divine Dragon Sword lay beside him, its ancient blade bearing witness to its long history.
He got up and saw a figure lying not far away. Leo couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
Surviving such an ordeal and defeating the invincible Cedric filled Leo with immense joy.
Cedric lay face down on the ground, in a state best described as miserable.
His elegant red robe had turned to ashes, his undergarments torn off his body, leaving him bare-chested.
He was covered in multiple wounds, bleeding intermittently.
His supposedly invincible Sovereign’s Blade sheath lay beside him, now battered and worthless even as an antique.
Unfortunately for Cedric, he hadn’t met his maker from Leo’s powerful strike.
He moved his fingers first, then slowly pushed himself up from the ground.
After coughing twice, Cedric spat out blood.
He looked at his body in a daze, like an idiot.
Even from a distance, Leo could see Cedric’s face filled with despair.
Cedric’s gaze finally fell on the broken Sovereign’s Blade sheath on the ground. His expression shifted from disbelief to grief.
The sheath was destroyed in his hands, meaning his invulnerability was gone!
Had his myth been shattered by an unknown boy from Atraria?
On the other side, six knights lay severely injured and dying. Even a five-year-old could easily kill them now.
No, God! Merciful Lord! This shouldn’t be the ending!
Cedric and his Royal Faith’s Order of Knights were utterly defeated.
Leo gripped the Divine Dragon Sword and walked towards Cedric step by step.
Cedric looked up, his grief turning into hatred.
At this moment, he no longer resembled a cardinal but a wounded beast.
Hatred didn’t cloud Cedric’s judgment.
When Leo reached him, he realized he’d been tricked. With a swing of the Divine Dragon Sword, Cedric vanished into light and shadow.
On the other side, Cedric used the holy grail to absorb the nine knights and their Cross Swords before transforming into a beam of white light heading east.
Watching Cedric disappear, Leo decided not to pursue him. His Escape Technique seemed inexplicably limited in the Western world.
Even with Cedric’s sheath destroyed, he still had the Sovereign’s Blade and holy grail; Leo couldn’t kill him.
Moreover, Leo had no personal vendetta against Cedric; there was no need for a life-and-death grudge.
If Cedric alone was so formidable, it showed how powerful Ecclesia must be behind him.
Deane and his companions were also weakened from using Original Blood Sacrifice. Joseph’s cloak had turned red from blood due to using Executioner’s Axe.
Duke Deane approached Leo with an excited pale face from under his cloak: “Mighty and noble guest, with your help, Cedric has been defeated. This is the greatest victory for vampires in nearly a century and deserves eternal commemoration.”
Honestly, Leo neither liked nor disliked vampires; he just couldn’t get used to their eerie aura.
This place was not safe for long. Leo looked at the sky and said directly: “Duke, can you send me out of London now?”
“My most esteemed guest, after such a battle, you must be very tired. Rest for tonight; I’ll arrange a private jet to take you to Paris tomorrow morning,” Duke Deane said earnestly.
