“Youth from Atraria, it has been a long time since I last fought. Today, let me see if your Divine Dragon Sword is stronger or my Sovereign’s Blade!” Cedric’s boisterous voice echoed throughout Vitre Castle.
Leo’s aura surged to its peak, the ancient Divine Dragon Sword in his hand was enveloped in a golden glow, and his fighting spirit burned fiercely within him.
“Sovereign’s Blade, by the glory of the Lord, let the holy light cleanse all!”
Cedric chanted loudly, and the Sovereign’s Blade in his hand, accompanied by the sound of thunder, slashed towards Leo.
In the dim sky, it was as if a sun had ignited, and the holy light illuminated the ancient castle.
Leo roared, channeling his Spiritual Power into the Divine Dragon Sword while simultaneously pushing his internal Spiritual Power to its limit.
The golden light emitted by the Divine Dragon Sword was like golden flames, piercing through the white light and slashing towards Cedric with destructive force.
In just a second, the holy white light and golden flames intertwined, producing a golden-white radiance.
This golden-white radiance pierced through the darkness, brightening the previously gloomy sky.
The vampire dukes were sensitive to the light, which weakened their strength and gave the knights, who were already on the defensive, a brief opportunity to counterattack.
A sharp, piercing explosion was followed by a powerful shockwave akin to a tsunami.
The low-level vampires who had just emerged from the castle to join the battle were unlucky; they fell like cut wheat under the shockwave, and some with lower cultivation levels died on the spot after spitting blood.
Leo wasn’t foolish enough to withstand the shockwave’s damage. As soon as the Divine Dragon Sword and Sovereign’s Blade clashed, he used an Escape Technique to vanish from the spot.
Cedric also disappeared from sight.
The three dukes’ long black tailcoats shielded them as they withstood the shockwave.
As for the nine knights, they had suffered greatly at the hands of the three vampire dukes and had no extra energy to resist the shockwave.
The result was that the nine knights were swept away like fallen leaves in an autumn wind, screaming in pain.
Fortunately, their Holy Power protected them; although injured, none of the knights were in mortal danger.
When everything settled down, Leo reappeared.
Looking around, only Deane and his two companions remained standing in the castle courtyard, along with himself.
No, Cedric was still there too.
The poor knights struggled to get up one after another, glaring angrily at the three vampire dukes but not making another move.
Their once-luxurious knight uniforms were now filthy and tattered beyond recognition.
Cedric reappeared opposite Leo, maintaining a distance that allowed both attack and defense.
Seeing Cedric’s serious expression, Leo laughed. “It seems your Sovereign’s Blade isn’t all that impressive.”
“You are formidable, and your Divine Dragon Sword is impressive as well. As an opponent, you have earned my full attention,” Cedric said sharply. “If you have the guts, follow me to another place for our final showdown!”
With that, Cedric vanished as if teleporting.
Leo knew Cedric was trying to avoid harming his nine knights. Locking onto Cedric with his Divine Awareness, Leo used his Escape Technique to follow him outside the castle.
Seeing Mr. Cedric disappear, the nine knights showed no fear.
Berger shouted, “Knights, uphold the glory of the Lord and inherit the honor of knighthood. With our blood as sacrifice, we shall eradicate all darkness from this world.”
After speaking, Berger used his Cross Sword to cut his left palm and let his blood drip onto it.
The other eight knights displayed expressions of resolve and did the same, cutting their left palms and letting their blood drip onto their Cross Swords.
Seeing this, Duke Deane warned, “Be careful; this is the Knights’ blood ritual.”
The holy white light emitted by their Cross Swords took on a reddish hue. The nine knights raised their swords simultaneously and charged at Deane and his companions with a roar.
Deane summoned his black staff, Gawain summoned his dark night sword, and Joseph summoned his crescent blade.
The three vampire dukes engaged in battle once more with the nine knights of the Royal Faith’s Order of Knights.
On the grassy field outside the castle, Leo and Cedric faced off against each other.
“Show me your strongest move; otherwise, you won’t defeat me!” Leo shouted as he swung his Divine Dragon Sword.
Cedric remained calm, leaning on his Sovereign’s Blade. “Young man, bring forth your mightiest power to withstand my wrath.”
Cedric raised his Sovereign’s Blade and chanted again. “By the power of the Holy Lake, grant me victory over my enemy. Wrath of the Holy Lord!”
As Cedric chanted, his Sovereign’s Blade transformed into a white radiance that swirled around him. His body began to fade.
At the same time, a massive phantom appeared.
Leo couldn’t help but look up; the giant phantom resembled Jesus Christ.
Since Cedric was using his ultimate move, Leo couldn’t stay idle. He threw his Divine Dragon Sword into the air and quickly formed hand seals with his right hand while casting a Talisman with his left hand onto the sword.
The Divine Dragon Sword shone brightly with golden light. After a deafening dragon roar, it transformed into a giant golden dragon that roared and charged at the massive phantom.
In the dark sky, a golden streak flashed without any pause as the golden dragon collided with the giant phantom.
No sound was heard as the golden dragon entered the phantom’s body. Then an extremely bright light appeared inside it.
The dragon disappeared along with the phantom.
The light began to expand rapidly. Cedric’s face changed drastically; in desperation, he pulled out a Bible from somewhere and held it to his chest.
Feeling locked onto by terrifying energy, Leo tried to use his Escape Technique but found himself unable to move.
In the next second, the expanding light exploded like a supernova, engulfing both Leo and Cedric instantly.
The terrifying energy wave burst forth, destroying the castle walls.
For a moment, debris flew everywhere like shrapnel.
The nine knights battling the three vampire dukes had no idea this would happen. Caught off guard, they were struck by debris from the castle walls and spat blood as they were sent flying backward.
The three vampire dukes reacted quickly; as soon as the castle walls were destroyed, they turned into black mist and vanished.
