Mrs. King replied, “She accepted that the child in her belly is not of Edward”
Mr. King again looked at the laptop screen and asked, “And what Edward has to say on this?”
She replied immediately, “He is gone crazy, he says it doesn’t matter to him as long as she is with him”
Mr. King said, “If he is fine then why are you worrying? It’s between couple let them sort it”
“Have you gone crazy, how can we give the King’s name to any random person?” Mrs. King shouted.
Mr. King replied calmly, “First thing we gave King’s name to Amaya also, do you even know her father’s name, her mother never told you, Second thing I never believe Autumn would do such things, I know she is young but she is not immature”
Saying that Mr. King walked out of the study room, Mrs. King started throwing things angrily, shouting, “What magic that bitch had done on you guys, you can’t see her true colours?” Mrs. King fainted while shouting.
When she opened her eyes, she saw Amaya sitting next to her bed. She was disappointed that Mr. King was not around and only her daughter was with her.
Little did she knew that Mr. King was with her all the time and he just walked out of the room a few minutes back and Amaya used this chance also and pretended that she was here with Mrs. King all the time, wherein the fact was she was sleeping in her bedroom and she came here just before Mr. King walked out.
Amaya was happy that at least one member of the King’s family was in her claws and that one member was enough for her to achieve her dreams.
Mrs. King was recovering slowly, one of her medicines was about to finish Amaya said she will go and bring it. Mrs. King asked her to order any maid or butler to go to buy medicine but Amaya insisted that she would love to do something for her mother.
Mrs. King smiled gently and let her go, Mrs. King thought how lucky she was to have such a loving daughter.
On the other side, nothing was getting back to normal between Edward and Autumn, Edward was taking care of Autumn like a baby.
Every night he would go to his bedroom late after Autumn sleeps, he would slowly drag her in his arms and start caressing her little swollen belly.
He would talk to the kid, it was his daily schedule, he even started telling bedtime stories to his unborn child. He would talk to the kids for almost an hour and then sleep.
He thought Autumn was already sleeping when he entered the bedroom every night, little did he forget that Autumn can sleep either with him or after having sleeping pills, and now as she was pregnant she stopped having pills.
She sleeps only after listening to his little talk to the baby, sometimes she wants to forget about Edward and Amaya, she wants to forget what happened between them, she wants to forget about Edward’s child in Amaya’s womb.
But she is unable to do it, it pains her every moment, she knows Edward loves her but his child with Amaya will always keep her reminding of his mistake.
The thought of Edward being close to Amaya kills her many times in a day, her brain had accepted it but her heart never accepted that Edward could do such things.
No one ever told what happened that night, she knows Edward doesn’t want to talk about it and she doesn’t believe Amaya.
She had started doing meditation to keep herself healthy and less stressed, she wants the best for her child.
Today she had an appointment with the doctor for her regular check-up, Edward accompanied her. After doing a check-up doctor said smiling, “Mrs. King your babies are completely fine”
Autumn and Edward looked at the doctor puzzled, the doctor smiled and said, “Yes, Mr. King, Mrs. King is carrying triplets and all three are boys”
Edward was so happy that forgetting everything he hugged Autumn tightly and said kissing her forehead, “Baby, I am so happy, you made me the happiest man in this world, thank you so much, I love, I love you, I love you so much”
He kept on kissing her forehead saying “I love you.” Autumn had been controlling her emotions for so long, she missed his hugs, his sweet words, she hugged him back, for a few minutes they forgot about their surroundings, they were lost in each other.
The doctor was standing there silently smiling. It was a kinda everyday scene for her. She had seen many couples being so happy knowing about their babies, she stood there without disturbing the couple.
After a few minutes Edward broke the hug and started asking questions to the doctor, “Doctor, what about her diet, do I need to care more about it? What are the other things I need to take care of? I hope my wife will be safe carrying three babies, you know she is very fragile”, he kept on asking questions.
The lady doctor smiled and said, “Mr. King don’t worry everything is fine with Mrs. King, I must say you are taking good care of your wife, as of now she is perfectly fine”
“As she had completed her first trimester, please make sure to let her walk more especially after food, it is always good to have active life for normal delivery”
Edward was listening to everything carefully; he didn’t want to miss any details given by the doctor.
After the appointment they came back home, after getting out of the car Autumn and Edward were about to enter the living room when Edward got a call from Zack, he excused himself saying, “Baby, I will just take this call” and Autumn entered the living room.
