Chapter 1272 Lock On

Berger and Bill already knew what Mr. Cedric intended to do. Their previously ashamed faces lit up with joy as they hurried to the stone platform.
Berger rolled up his left sleeve first, then took a dagger from his body and made a cut on his left wrist, letting the blood drip into the holy grail. The blood flowed continuously for less than ten seconds before it stopped, and Berger stepped back.
Bill stepped forward and repeated Berger’s actions.
When Bill finished, the holy grail was already half full of blood.
Cedric approached, picked up the holy grail with his right hand, and muttered some difficult incantations. Gradually, the red blood in the holy grail began to fade and turn transparent.
In about half a minute, the blood in the holy grail had completely turned transparent, as if it had transformed into water.
“Merciful God, protect your people. Please grant the request of your loyal servant. Amen,” Cedric said with a devout expression, slowly pouring the liquid from the holy grail onto the cracked Cross Sword.
A strange scene unfolded. The transparent liquid turned into a milky white gel, instantly enveloping the two Cross Swords.
A holy light, pure as white cotton, spread across the entire stone platform.
The nine knights of the Royal Faith’s Order of Knights watched solemnly, their eyes filled only with the light of faith.
Soon, the holy light dissipated, and the milky white gel seemed to be absorbed by the Cross Swords, disappearing completely.
The two Holy Cross Swords were restored to their original state, with a continuous Holy Power emanating from their blades, showing no signs of previous cracks.
Looking at his Cross Sword on the platform, Bill couldn’t help but exclaim, “Almighty Lord, Amen!”
“Mr. Cedric, please allow Bill and me to find that despicable Atraria man and redeem ourselves,” Berger requested respectfully.
Cedric glanced at him and said calmly, “Berger, do you know how to find him?”
“I…” Berger clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. “Even if I have to dig up London three feet deep, I will find him!”
Berger’s impulsive nature hadn’t changed. Cedric smiled and asked again, “Do you know what that Atraria man stole from the church?”
“Bill and I checked. All the precious relics in the church are still there. However, in St. Edward’s Chapel, the base of the statue of the Lord’s Passion was opened, and whatever was inside has been stolen by that Atraria man,” Berger replied.
Cedric pondered for a moment. “No matter what was inside, even if it was just a worthless stone, we must retrieve it. Westminster Abbey is under our protection; the dignity of the Anglican Communion cannot be violated.”
“Mr. Cedric, we will go find that Atraria man!” The knights volunteered eagerly.
Cedric waved his hand. “No need. The Cross Swords of Berger and Bill were tainted by that Atraria man. Using the power of the holy grail, I can track him down!”
Hearing this, the knights were overjoyed and prepared themselves to capture Leo and teach him a lesson.
Cedric held the holy grail in his right hand and extended his left index finger above its rim. He channeled his Holy Power and forced a drop of blood from his left index finger into the holy grail.
The previously empty holy grail suddenly emitted a faint golden light that quickly enveloped Cedric, making him appear like a divine figure in the night.
“Almighty Lord, please aid your loyal servant and guide him in his confusion. Amen…” Cedric’s ethereal voice echoed in the night.
As the faint golden light around Cedric gradually faded, the holy grail on the platform trembled. A white light shot from it into the night sky, seemingly conveying Cedric’s request to heaven.
After a brief moment, a phantom screen appeared on the stone platform in front of Cedric. The scenes on the screen played rapidly from when Leo entered Westminster Abbey until now.
Seeing the scenes on the screen, the nine knights became excited and gripped their Cross Swords tightly, ready to act on Cedric’s command.
Leo, who had been sleeping soundly in his hotel room, suddenly woke up and sat up in bed.
Leo’s keen Divine Awareness sensed a strange energy. Although it wasn’t aggressive, he felt as if he were being watched by numerous surveillance cameras.
After a brief moment of confusion, Leo quickly realized that someone was using a special technique to locate him!
There was no need to think; it had to be someone from the church. After injuring two knights and stealing their treasure, it would be strange if they didn’t come after him with all their might.
A cold smile crossed Leo’s lips as he took out a talisman and activated it. The feeling of being locked onto by that strange energy quickly disappeared.
“Hehe, tracking me won’t be that easy,” Leo chuckled mischievously.
Although he had broken the tracking energy, he couldn’t let his guard down. The enemy already knew his general location; he couldn’t stay at this hotel any longer and needed to find a place to hide his loot quickly.
Meanwhile, after Leo used his talisman, the phantom screen shattered and disappeared.
“Quite an impressive fellow; he even broke my Sanctuary Lock,” Cedric remarked with interest rather than surprise.
He was curious to see just how formidable this individual from an ancient Eastern land truly was.
“Mr. Cedric, what should we do now?” Berger asked since the screen hadn’t pinpointed Leo’s exact location.
“Though we didn’t lock onto his precise location, we know his general area. I will imbue your Holy Cross Swords with the holy power of the holy grail; they will guide you to him.”
Cedric remained calm and authoritative as he glanced at the nine knights around him. “Berger, you take four men to search; Charles, you take three.”
“Yes, Mr. Cedric!” Berger and Charles responded loudly with pride.
In the morning, after a quick wash-up, Leo packed his belongings and was about to leave when he sensed a peculiar disturbance entering his room.
Leo’s heart sank as he thought bitterly, “No way, they’ve found me this quickly?”
He slowly turned around to face the window.
The window had been half-open but was now fully open. A crow stood on the windowsill.
