“Don’t blame Rosiley, mom. It’s my fault at first.”
Meanwhile, Rorey struggled to get off from the bed, walking slowly to Rosiley step by step.
“Sis, I know you blame me for grabbing Yunis away. I confess it was my bad. And I have got what I deserved. I don’t expect you’d forgive me, but I do hope you could spare me a chance to apologize.”
Rorey begged sincerely, and held one of Rosiley’s hands. “Sis, I won’t stop you to curse or hit me, for I’m willing to do anything to make up for your loss, anything to please you.”
“Rorey, what the heck are you doing?”
Rosiley was caught off guard by the change of Rorey’s attitude.
She thought Rorey would curse her with rage, or play some dirty tricks.
Unexpectedly, in a humble way, she apologized to her.
There must be something wrong…
At no time would Rorey apologize, unless she’s up to something.
Rosiley squinted with doubt, hesitantly shaking off her hands. “Rorey, I do not know what you’re up to. If you act miserable to fool me, just save it for your Yunis.”
“Sis, you’re misled. I really mean it when I apologize. I’m sorry, and I really am. I know whatever I told you, you won’t take it. Still, the blame is on me. What’s done is done, I just beg you to forgive Yunis and me. I know I’m so selfish, but I really… really don’t want to see my baby born without her daddy around…”
Suddenly, with faking regret and shame, Rorey got down on her knees, clutching at Rosiley’s trousers.
She acted so humble and sincere, Rosiley almost believed it.
Yet she knew her step-sister too well.
The more she acted like this, the more suspicious she was.
“Let go of me, Rorey. Don’t play the martyr in front of me.”
Rosiley quickly composed herself and pulled back her legs coldly.
After the pulling, Rorey rolled backwards on the ground, as if kicked by someone.
She burst into shrill cries, squirming in pain, with hands on her belly. “It hurts. My belly hurts…”
Xenia was shocked to scream. “Rosiley Tang, you’re such a malicious bitch. Rorey has already apologized to you, yet how dare you kick her in the belly?”
Rosiley was struck numb.
She couldn’t imagine that Rorey would put on the same show twice.
Last time she pretended to be pushed, while this time, she played for a higher level and pretended to be kicked.
No wonder…
No wonder today she acted so abnormal. From her apologize to her humble attitude, all paved path for the big show.
Looking at Rorey crying and rolling, as well as Xenia, who was shouting at the butler to send Rorey to hospital, Rosiley scoffed.
“Rorey Gu, you’re such an actress, I wonder why didn’t you make it in the entertainment world? Honestly, you’re born to be an Academy Award-winner.”
“It hurts. It really hurts. Sis… please send me to hospital. Save my baby…”
Rorey turned a deaf ear to her, seized her trousers tightly and begged as if she was really hurt.

However, Rosiley left the house right away, without any hesitation.
After her leaving, the house fell into silence again. Rorey stood up on her own, without a sign of miscarry.
“Rosiley Tang, again, come and show me how good you’re to prove your innocence. I dare you.”

Once she got back to her office, Yayoi came and asked her. “Is everything OK?”
“Just for now, however, tomorrow, things would be different.”
She blinked her eyes, smiling with unknown meanings.
Yayoi was confused. “What do you mean? What are they up to?”
“You’ll get it soon.”
Rosiley spent the whole afternoon waiting for Rorey’s next move.
Unexpectedly, there was no panic on the social media websites, neither Tweet nor Facebook. Everything went as usual.
However, deep in mind, Rosiley knew it’s the peace before storms.
There must be a reason for Rorey’s playing the martyr.
Rosiley wasn’t worried, for it was useless. She believed Rorey would strike the first blow before long.
