“You’re too naive. We all know what Rorey did to you. She is such a bitch that she might set you up secretly. You might as well keep an eye on her, in case that she’d get back at you after all her sufferings.”
When it came to Rorey Gu, Yayoi had never ever let her guard down, despite her distain and disgust for Rorey.
Having been the best friends with Rosiley for years, Yayoi knew a variety of dirty tricks of Rorey to hurt Rosiley, and that’s why she fretted about her so much.
“You’re right. Owing to this affair, Rorey’s image and development as an actress were both screwed up. She’s unlikely to let it go, for she’d take revenge on me by all means.”
Rosiley was in favor of Yayoi’s worries.
After all the years living with Rorey, no one could know better about her step-sister than she did.
“I feel assured that you’d agree with me.”
Yayoi smiled and stuffed the meat into her mouth, chewing hard, “Well, you put on quite a show, and your step-mother, the bitch’s dear mother, didn’t even say a word?”
“Not at all. She daren’t. When I was a little girl, she might play dirty tricks behind my back. Now, I’d leave no chance for her anymore.”
Speaking of Xenia Zhao, suddenly, Rosiley’s face turned deathly pale.
She couldn’t help feeling bitterly disappointed as she thought about the day on Rorey’s engagement party, when Xenia made the necklace at her disposal without permission.
Wasn’t it enough to take over her family? And she even imagined to grab everything away.
Ha! If so, she’d generously teach her a lesson of what to take and what to let go of.
“Why put on that face suddenly? I’m scared…”
Yayoi said, dramatically patted her chest, pretending to be terrified, after she noticed Rosiley’s mind-wandering.
Rosiley glanced at her and joked, “I’m thinking about how to sell you out.”
“It depends on my worth, but I’m afraid you’d have to pay others to take me away.”
Yayoi grinned, joking about herself.
Rosiley burst into laugh, dispersing her sorrow to the none.
“Thank you, Yayoi. Thanks to you guys’ company, or I won’t get through all the sufferings.”
“Huh?”
Yayoi heard something unusual, squinting curiously for more, “‘You guys’? What did you mean? Who else is there for you? Is it ‘the one’ you mentioned once, the secret one kept as a secret for now?”
“Yep!” Rosiley smiled and nodded.
Immediately, Yayoi was burned up, “Rosiley, how heartless you are! You told me his goodness, yet you refuse to give me his name. What a cliffhanger! Now I’m dying to know everything about ‘the one’!”
“Careful. Curiosity killed the cat. I’m afraid his name would scare you to death.”
Sitting in calm, Rosiley sipped her juice, looked quite poised.
“Don’t be ridiculous! Nothing could scare me. Just tell me about him, please!”
Yayoi was short-tempered, and she was tortured by the curiosity, which Rosiley purposely aroused.
“If you get his name, can you promise not to get mad, pound the table, or scream?”
“Of course, I can! I promise!” Yayoi took it seriously.
“Well, I got married, with ‘the one’.”
“Ok, I get it, you’re married…”
Yayoi nodded with a smile, but then the look on her face was frozen, “What… what did you say? Say it again.”
“I’m married.” Rosiley repeated in a calm voice.
“What?”
With voice rising in surprise, Yayoi patted the desk, stood up like mad, and refused to believe it. “You are married? How come you are married?”
Rosiley seemed to have foreseen her reaction, and said with a smirky. “Keep your voice down. We have made a promise that you won’t overreact.”
“Fine. But why did you get married? When did it happen?”
Overwhelmed by the shock, Yayoi found it hard to calm down.
“Two days after the day I found Yunis cheated on me.”
“!!!”
Yayoi gulped for the unbelievable marriage. “Rosiley Tang, don’t you ever tell me that you find a guy to marry at random, just to take a revenge on Yunis?”
Rosiley smiled, “No reward for your right answer.”
“Are you crazy, Rosiley?
Other than being emotional or screaming, Yayoi got disappointed. “Yunis is a son of a bitch, not worthy of your entire life. How come you waste your life punishing him? Marriage matters to your lifetime happiness, and you turned out to marry a stranger? Damned it! What’s his name? Age? Address? Appearance? Are you even matched?”
