A wooden chair flies across the room full force and collides with the wall causing it to break on impact. The people in the room gulped with widened eyes, as they watched their Alpha lose his cool.
“What the fuck do you mean that you can’t find a single trace of her? how can a person vanish into thin air” Adryan shouts as he faces the pack members of the search team. Adryan was angry and distraught as days passed by. Adryan looked like a mess with his facial hair growing, with dishevelled hair. It’s been three months since his mate went missing and so far he has no clue where she is or what happened to her.
“Calm down Adryan, I’m sure we will definitely find her,” Brian says, placing a comforting hand on top of one of Adryan’s shoulders. Brian motions for the search team members to leave, so that only he, Adryan and Violet were left in the room.
Adryan’s shoulders sag in defeat as he takes a seat on his office chairs.
“You know we don’t have to search for her like a bunch of idiots when we all know who exactly took her.” Violet finally speaks up, her voice sounding tired as she too hasn’t gotten much sleep like Adryan. She and Adryan both have been the ones to look after Adonis the most after Jade went missing, who also has been missing his mother, at times it was hard to calm him down and make some excuses about her absence.
Adryan lifts his head at her words, Brian tries to stop Violet from speaking further but she doesn’t stop.
“What? why are we ignoring the fact that it was your psychotic half-brother who kidnapped your mate? and rather than trying to find any lead on her, why don’t we start by finding out his lair? there’s no other place he would take her to.”
“I just didn’t want to accept the fact that he was back,” Adryan says with a faraway look on his face, “I thought that part of my life was over for good years ago, but he’s finally back after years when I had finally found my fucking happiness, just to uproot everything and wreak havoc in our lives. Honestly speaking, I don’t have a good feeling about what is happening and what the future may hold for us.”
There was only one single thought in the minds of all the people present in the room, of the events that unfolded years ago that changed their lives forever.

Staring at the ceiling with his unfocused eyes, a memory suddenly flashes through Darius’ mind.
Joyful laughter rings out as two boys are seen chasing each other around with carefree smiles on their faces. “Adryan, Darius, be careful not to get hurt” a woman’s voice calls out as she watches them play with a smile on her face.
Slamming of a fist on his office desk brings him to the present, sitting up straight his Violet coloured eyes meet Bianca’s blue eyes staring at him.
“Speak or get out of my office” Darius wasn’t ready to put up with Bianca’s useless talks at the moment.
Ignoring his words she sits down on the office chair opposite him, sitting down she ponders about something before opening her mouth.
“You know… you said” dragging her words meanwhile her eyes were focused razor sharp onto Darius’ every action, “that you brought that girl here because she was a vital part of the experiment that has been going on and that you need her alive” upon mention of Jade, Darius’ ears perk up “but I couldn’t stop myself from tasting her blood this morning when I saw her wandering about.” her last words cause Darius’ Violet eyes to turn red in an instant and with a flash he had slammed Bianca into the door of the office.
“What did you do to her?” his sharp nails dig into her throat as his hand squeezes her throat causing it to bleed, blood slides down from her nose as she was slammed with such force onto the wooden door causing a hole to form in it.
“TELL ME” he roars as she delays her reply.
“She’s your soulmate, isn’t she?” the sudden realization crosses her mind causing a smirk to form on her face, “that’s interesting” Bianca whispers as she looks at him with laughter in her eyes.
Not waiting for her reply, he pushes her aside leaving in a flash through the broken door.

Jade stared in wonder at the transparent barrier, her fingers reach forward to touch it only for it to zap her, she recoils, bringing her hand towards her chest as she feels the aftereffects of the shock.
When Jade woke up in the morning, she was surprised to find all the barricades from the windows gone, the balcony door open, with sunlight pouring into the room. After brushing her teeth and getting ready, she had ventured out of her room, still apprehensive after the events of the day before.
She had ventured out of the castle like building, everything looked normal except this place contained a lot of magic surrounding it. Even without her abilities she could tell, it only confirmed her doubts when she was stopped by a barrier, it seemed like this was a mirror image of the human world except someone from the human world could not see this place, it would just be a dead end on their side.
She’s suddenly whirled around, startled, her eyes meet a pair of worry filled violet colored eyes. She places one of her hands on top of his that were on the side of her shoulders, before she could utter a word, she feels herself get sucked into a memory.
A boy roughly around the age of five, was hiding under the table, his small hands covering his ears and eyes closed shut as a group of teenagers harassed and bullied the boy, throwing things at him and calling him names like ‘bastard son of the alpha’ ,’blood sucker’ among other names. Blood was trickling down his temple as if some object was thrown at him. There were tear streaks on his faces.
Seeing that the boy wasn’t paying attention to their actions, they leave after a while. Jade felt like a third person watching the scene before her, she couldn’t move from her spot, she was only a spectator. Jade recognized her surrounding very well. It was the blood moon pack house.
A dark haired woman enters the room, sniffling sounds coming from under the table catches her attention, crouching down she spots the boy curled into himself as if shielding himself from harms way. Her eyes take on a sad look as she sees the tears and blood on him, she extends her hand towards him, with a smile on her face.
“Come. I mean you no harm. You must be hungry, I can make you something to eat.” She says, trying to calm the shaken boy, who seemed to be alert at her presence. When he hears her talking about food, his eyes perk up causing the smile on the woman’s face to widen.
Watching the woman for a few moments, the boy hesitatingly extends his hands. Helping him get out from under the dining table, the woman doesn’t let go of the boy’s hand, the boy’s hazel eyes stay fixated on her warm hands around his cold ones. The woman with her dark hairocean blue eyes smiles at him.
Jade watched in silence as they both disappeared out the door into another room.
Suddenly she’s transported to another place, which meant another memory, this time it’s a playground inside the pack grounds.
The woman from earlier who Jade knows is the Luna Alana of the blood moon pack walks into the play ground while a small figure hid behind her. The boy seemed in much better shape than he was a few days ago, he was well taken care of, he was well fed and had nice clothes on, his wounds were also taken care of by the Luna herself. Luna Alana searches for someone with her eyes, when she spots her six year old son, she calls out to him.
“Adryan” he voice immediately causes a young boy to stop running after his friends, turning towards where his mom stood, Adryan immediately goes to her.
Luna Alana moves aside causing the attention to turn towards Darius’ little figure. Adryan’s ocean blue eyes look curiosly at him. Luna Alana places a hand on Darius’ head, caressing it, she slowly pushes his frame towards Adryan. Both of the boys stare at each other silently for a few seconds. Adryan’s ocean blue eyes shine brightly as he stares at his new friend. His small hand suddenly takes hold of Darius’ even small ones, he pushes him towards the group of young kids that he was previously playing with.
Luna Alana watches with a relieved smile on her face as she watches Adryan chasing Darius, who suprisingly was fast. She hoped in her heart that her mate’s mistakes won’t harm an innocent soul.
Jade feels herself come back to the present, as she feels someone shaking her shoulders vigorously, their actions seemed rushed and urgent-filled.
“what happened?” she asks as her eyes raise to meet Darius’ hazel colored eyes. His worry filled eyes seem slightly calm now.
He suddenly pulls her towards him, embracing her in a hug, shocking her as he even goes as far as to stroke her hair. Suprisingly enough, J, age doesn’t pull back from the hug. After all, she had been through so much in the past five months, she felt like she needed it.
