Bianca hesitated, “Mr. Wilson, do you… Have any other intentions for me?”
“Intentions? What intentions?” Justin frowned, looking puzzled. Then it dawned on him what she meant, and he almost choked in surprise.
“Don’t get me wrong! Wait, wait! That’s not what I meant!” Justin hurriedly clarified, flustered. “I mean, a friend’s girlfriend is… I mean… Well, you know what I’m trying to say. I have no other intentions for you, I promise.”
“‘A friend’s girlfriend’? What does that mean?”
Bianca looked confused at Justin this time.
“Huh? Oh, never mind! You got it wrong,” Justin said, realizing he messed up. He switched topics fast. “Before Jessica left, she said you should take her job. Since you worked under her, you know what to do. That’s why I’m promoting you fast. But you’ll be on a probationary period for three months. If you don’t do well, you’ll go back to your old job, and I’ll admit I was wrong about you.”
Justin’s tactic did the trick.
Bianca felt determined to show everyone, including herself, what she can do.
“Okay, Mr. Wilson. I’ll make sure I do my best.”
With a determined expression, Bianca walked out.
As soon as Bianca left, Justin slumped into his chair and let out a big sigh.
Then he remembered something and called Dave.
“Bianca came to my office. She thought I had a crush on her and asked me about it! Can you believe it? Oh my God! What a big misunderstanding! I almost told her the truth. By the way, when are you going to reveal your true identity to her?”
Justin was surprised by the silence on the other end.
He thought it was a bad connection and was about to end the call when Dave’s serious and threatening voice came through.
“Don’t dare to do anything to make her misunderstand you. And make sure someone watches her all the time. I want to know everything she does. Understand?”
Dave ended the call without waiting for Justin’s reply.
Justin heard the harsh dial tone and stared at his phone, feeling helpless. Dave always acted this way, and Justin knew he had to follow his orders.

Bianca organized the papers with info about their artists and went to the Information Department.
“Hi, I’m Bianca Scott from the Agent Department. Can you help me with the latest info on Golden Gate Films’ crews?”
The receptionist looked at Bianca with a disapproving frown.
“The system’s down. It’s not working.”
“Do you know when it’ll be fixed?”
“No idea.”
The girl avoided eye contact with Bianca, leaned back, and started admiring her freshly done nails.
Bianca noticed the girl was deliberately making things difficult for her, so she didn’t bother and walked away.
At two in the afternoon, Bianca reached Golden Gate Films as scheduled.
Rumors had it that Golden Gate Films was in the middle of casting for several projects, with the biggest one being a sci-fi movie they had poured a lot of money into.
If Bianca could get roles in this movie for her artists, she’d earn more respect in the company.
It took a lot of effort for Bianca to reach Darien Crawford, the producer of the sci-fi film, and to secure a meeting with him. Thankfully, he agreed to meet with her in the evening.
What Bianca didn’t know was that when she called Darien, he was in Joshua Reed’s office at Golden Gate Films. Joshua was holding a woman in his arms who was whispering sweet things to him – and that woman was Ashley!
After hanging up with Bianca, Darien looked at Ashley with a charming smile.
“Miss Scott, I’ve done as you asked.”
Hearing this, Ashley hugged Joshua tightly and gave him a sweet smile.
After getting kicked out of Phoenix Entertainment, she got together with Joshua and secured a role in the sci-fi movie.
When Darien mentioned Bianca’s name on the phone, Ashley couldn’t resist interfering. After all, she had Joshua backing her up.
“Thank you for helping me, Mr. Crawford. You have no idea how devious Bianca can be! You’ll only bring trouble upon yourself if you work with her!”
Hearing Ashley’s loud, high-pitched voice, Darien winced. He had heard about the incident at the party, so he knew what kind of person she was. However, Golden Gate Films was the main investor in his movie, and Ashley’s boyfriend was the vice president of Golden Gate Films.
Darien knew he couldn’t risk upsetting her, so he responded meekly, “Whatever you say, Miss Scott.”
As soon as Darien left, Joshua pulled Ashley close and pushed her onto his desk impatiently.
They had only met a few days ago. Following Stacey’s advice, Ashley had mastered the art of playing hard to get, which drove Joshua wild for her.
“I did what you wanted. Don’t I deserve a reward?”
Joshua wasn’t married, but rumor had it that he had dated so many women that if they lined up, they’d stretch from Golden Gate Films’ gate to his office door. He was eager to sleep with the woman who seemed hard to get. But once he won her over, he’d lose interest in her right away.
“Please, be patient. I’ve never done this before… I want my first time to be special,” Ashley said sweetly, her hands on his chest.
Joshua, like many men, had a preference for virgins. In the entertainment world, where there were a lot of shady dealings, finding virgins was rare. Ashley claimed she just graduated from university and was still a virgin. Joshua had her investigated, and it confirmed she was telling the truth. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have bothered wasting his time playing games with an unknown artist like her.
Excitedly, Joshua asked, “What else can I do for you?”
“Let’s discuss it after we deal with that woman.” Ashley’s eyes turned fierce at the mention of Bianca.
“Why do you dislike her so much?”
“She’s my enemy! Mr. Reed, please help me get rid of her!” Ashley batted her eyelashes and leaned in close to Joshua, giving him a quick kiss on his lips.
Driven by desire, Joshua exclaimed, “Absolutely. I’ll do whatever it takes. Handling a rookie agent will be easy.”
Unable to resist, he leaned in and kissed Ashley passionately on the lips.

At nine that evening, Bianca headed to a karaoke bar to meet Darien.
It wasn’t a fancy place, tucked away in a remote area.
Darien said the sci-fi film crew would be there. He, the director, assistant director, art planner, and other key crew members were supposed to attend. Darien wanted Bianca to meet them, so he asked her to come to the bar.
